I have been here several times and I have to say the food and service is excellent. The staff are friendly and know how to make a great burger. Definetly worth the money. One thing that sets Five Guys apart is they do not charge extra for adding toppings to your burger such as extra cheese, or grilled mushrooms. Will be back!

Burger is good. Fries are good. But the price is too much. You order 4 burgers and 2 French fries, couple of drinks then you are already over $ 40. Then why do you come here? You pay the same but you can dine in at a nice restaurant somewhere else.

I’m not a big fan, confusing menu, burgers are sloppy, super dense, takes too long to make, service is mediocre. The ONLYTHING I like here is their fries. Sometimes I come back just for fries. No one else makes them like that.

Friday at 6:00 In n Out has a line of cars winding around to the street, employees walking the line taking remote orders, the dining room packed, 22 kitchen employees with bodies in motion. Hold that thought. 5 guys has an empty dining room, and they have cut the staff back to just 2 employees who are standing around with nothing to do. What does that tell you? The sign on the door claims it’s «the best $ 5 hamburger in Ventura County.» They don’t have a $ 5 hamburger on the menu. Their astronomical prices have risen since they opened. It’ll cost ya over $ 16 dollars for a basic burger, fries and a small drink. Soggy, under cooked fries, poorly prepared burger, rude, revolving door of obnoxious employees. Online and phone orders ignored. You’ll get there and they«lost it.» What you feed your family for $ 22 at In n Out will cost you over $ 69 at 5 guys. We’re talking burgers for Christ sake, not Sushi and cocktails at Nagasaki’s in Beverly Hills. Sorry 5 Guys, your prices are outta line. Way off the hook. My family can eat at In & out and fill the car with a tank of gas for what your stuff costs.

One of the best burgers around plain and simple. Although they are a bit overpriced. There fries are OK, and again the price, but you just can’t beat the taste of there burgers as they are awesome

I’ve waited a little too long to try Five Guys Burgers and Fries. However, I wish my opinion of Five Guys was better than my previous expectation. The good: — Huge variety of toppings to select from — Fresh fries — Fresh meat patties — Cooked well. Juicy with good flavoring — Large portion sizes. Particularly the fries. 1 large order of fries can feed 3 people easily — Nice variety of soda’s to select from — Clean facility — Great service. Friendly folks working there The not so good: — No drive through — More expensive than I would like. This is the breaking point for me. Regardless how good it tastes, I can’t justify spending $ 8.50 on a double patty burger with cheese. In N Out has a double double for $ 4.50, half of the price. For two double burgers with cheese, one large fries and 2 regular drinks my bill came out to $ 25. This is not okay. On Friday’s I love to stop by my favorite hamburger joint to pick up a cheat meal after a long week. Unfortunately, Five Guys will not be my choice because of their prices and instead I’ll be heading over to In N Out down a few miles to get my burger fix.

Good food but, it’s a bit overpriced for what it is. If you want a good burger in this price range I’d recommend Hook Burger over this.

Everyone should try 5 Guys… once I think the main problem is someone at 5 Guys is confused. They think they’re a mainstream sit down restaurant and therefore can charge those high prices when all they are is a fast food In ‘n Out type place. The food is okay and it’s kind of fun to build your own burger. The main problem I have is that I can go to Islands, Red Robin, T.G.I.Fridays or any number of real sit down restaurants for the same price and have better food, service, ambiance, etc. So go to Costco and buy yourself a 5 lb. bag of peanuts and bring it with you to In n Out or Burger Express. Congratulations, you just saved a bunch of money and had just as good a burger if not better. Of course keep in mind you’re going to have to sweep up all those peanuts shells you drop on the floor. Went once and unless I hear they realized they’re a FASTFOOD place probably won’t be back.

Well, still waiting to try the burger but if the customer service is any indication, I can’t wait. Marki was attentive and patient and explained the menu in detail since it was our first visit.

The food is good… but the last 2 times I’ve ordered«To Go», I’ve gotten home to find that what I ordered and paid for, and what I got, were not the same thing. I don’t like paying extra for bacon, and making sure to order certain toppings, only to find them all lacking on what I got. Yes, I know I can check the order before I leave, and IF I ever go back there again, I will do so… but it’s kind of a pain to have to dig everything out of the bags, open up 4 burgers, and check them all. I kind of think THEY should do this, since they have the order tickets and they make them all fresh. After this last time, I called and spoke to the manager, Anna, who took all my information and advised me she would leave a note to make sure I got the burgers replaced with the correct ones on my next visit. What I expect is that I’ll get there, and no one will know what I’m talking about or be able to find any such note, but hopefully, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

More expensive than The Habit or In ‘n Out and inferior to both. Burgers are super greasy and not tasty.

Worst burger ever and most expensive ever, Bad service. The place is unclean and you get your burger in a pack to go, no plates, Zero stars!

A little pricier than you might expect? Maybe. But you also get a lot for your money– so much, that I recommend ordering a «little» cheeseburger and«small» fries if you’re there alone. The food is fresh, there is a plethora of toppings, and the fries are fresh-cut and literally overflowing out of the cup they scoop them into. I often/usually see the employees throwing an extra scoop or two into the bag as well. Really can’t complain about the place. High quality and delicious, I’ll be a customer indefinitely. Only suggestion: shakes!

I know someone already mentioned it earlier, but I will not visit a Five Guys Burgers until your employee Brian Lorraine is terminated. Our military sacrifice themselves for this country, and his lack of respect toward our military is a direct reflection on your business.

They have a good tasting Burger. All the condiments they don’t charge you extra for. Your basic hamburger, small fries and a small coke is going to cost you about $ 10.18 Very costly. Now do they have a big over head. No. There’s no drive-thru. Its dine in or take it to go. All there items are always package to go. So they would save a little money on the paper cost, if they where to invest on trays and would help some of our land fields and most of all, the cost to the customer. Their meat is never frozen A Plus. So you don’t get that freezer burn taste. There two issue’s I is the way the package their french Fries. There put in a 6 oz cup. Why a cup!!! The other issue is they have Box’s of peanuts that are open and self –serve. So you have a lot of customers that are putting their hands in. So if someone has a cold and they sneeze, and they don’t wash their hands. Guess what you just caught their cold. Yea they have a scoop in the box and again a lot of guests are touching it.

Amazing great burgers, I love it with mushrooms grilled peppers and A1 but not so good I want to pay $ 6 to $ 8 for a burger and up to $ 14 for a combo meal. I drive by it all the time and go yummy but then my wallet goes fuuuuuuuc… needless to say it’s a rare treat. Would easily achieve 5 stars if they cut their prices in half.

Five Guys vs In N Out the ultimate debate! Still not sure which one is better. I love them both. Both use fresh ingredients and they are really good. Five guys is more expensive I agree, but you also get more, meat and more fires. So you pay more but get more. Love them both so I alternate…
