I’m very perplexed by this place. The menu is, well, everything. Mexican food, burgers, and allegedly Greek food. It’s very much a greasy dive, but it’s not bad food. The burgers are messy, along the lines of the fried, messy, greasy Five Guys burgers, but cheaper. It’s a diner that serves a wide variety, and the prices aren’t too bad, so you do get what you pay for. No complaint here, but it doesn’t wow you if you’re looking for something special. It’s a cramped diner, so don’t expect much for ambiance or space. Again, not bad, just know what to expect. Good for take-out, although there isn’t really a place to wait, so you just kinda hang out by the soda machine.

I was introduced to this place by my boss and fell in love with it! The first time here I ordered a pastrami cheese burger. Soooo good. It was literally to big for me to finish lol The next time I had the chicken tenders. Let me tell you they aren’t just ordinary chicken tenders they are the best. So crispy and juicy and full of flavor mmmm. This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It might not look so nice on the outside but the food is amazing. I love coming here for lunch.

It seems like my one crappy breakfast burrito was a one off. I’ve had a few more since then and they’ve been great except for way too much potato. I weighed one that seemed a bit bigger than usual and it was just shy of 2 pounds! I bet they average close to 2000 calories so they are not part of my regular diet.(I share one with my wife).Everything I’ve tried has been above average in taste(and calories!) It can be incredibly busy on Sunday mornings so I usually call in a to go order otherwise a 30 minute wait is not unusual.

I love this place for breakfast. They have huge omelettes that come with hash brown things and toast. My favorite is the gyro and feta omelette. They use plenty of feta and gyro. The establishment is old and the décor is ugly, but the food’s awesome.
The portions here are godzilla size, so bring your appetite. I usually get the veggie burger with fries and a drink. 1 order of fries is enough for two people. I tried the veggie breakfast burrito yesterday. I don’t even have words to describe how big that thing is. The price is very good, considering how much food you get.

The food here is great. Portion size is massive. I only gave 4 stars because the place itself appears dirty. Great breakfast burritos but they put too much hash browns. Just ask to go easy on the hash browns and it’s great! I like the fact you can call in ahead and just pick up your order. The guy at the register is nice. I like it.

The only thing I’ve ever ordered here is the breakfast burrito and it is amazing! It’s gigantic so I can split into two meals for the day. Great little place in Simi.

This is a quaint little place. The owner is very nice and always has a smile on his face. They have some really great breakfast. You definitely get what you pay for with the burritos, you could feed a family of four with one of those. Their burgers and fries are good too. The burgers are thin for those that like thin patties. The fries are thick and cooked just right and seasoned with seasoning salt. Service is always pretty quick here. Next on my list is to try their Greek food.

I personally cannot understand how this place has 3 ½ stars. My family and I ate breakfast here this morning. My sons pancakes were inedible. My husband said his breakfast burrito was awful. I ordered eggs, hash browns, and a piece of bacon & sausage. The only thing I ate was the eggs, my son ate the toast from my meal rather than the pancakes. We spent about $ 30 on breakfast and left most of the food on the table un-eaten. Don’t waste your time or $ here. Find somewhere else!

The three stars is for the breakfast burrito and the falafel sandwich. There is consistency issues with the quality of the food especially when they are busy. My husband got the chicken and waffles one time and they were spot on but the next time both waffle and chicken were borderline burnt to a crisp. The fries are good when they are cooked enough but I have found that they tend to be soggy. The iced tea tastes not fresh(as if it’s from the day or two ago) Update: Whelp we will never be back. Tried to get a breakfast burrito to go. Got home just to realize the eggs were undercooked and made the sausage slimy. I didn’t take a single bite(I opened up the burrito to check out the inside when i was suspicious about the fact that it was ready and handed to me almost as soon as I ordered). I should have gone with my instinct and not left before checking it out but was in a hurry. I ended up bringing it back and getting a refund. The owner was willing to return my money an I appreciate that but I will never return to chef burger. I just don’t want to risk spending my day in the bathroom sick.

OK let me just start by saying that I’ve been coming here for years and years now. I live right down the street from it so why not it’s convenient not to mention they have a large selection for bfast, lunch and dinner. Majority of the time the food is good but there’s definitely times where it can be so so I guess. So you’re either going to get your hash browns on point or they’re going to come burnt and that goes for everything else on the menu as well(just a heads up) :)

The pancakes are really good, some of the best I have ever had. You get a lot of food for a good price. The staff are all very nice it’s a good place for breakfast. You can bring your dogs and eat out front.

This is my favorite little spot for breakfast aways with big portions and the food does not disappoint for then, as far as dinner I’m not to happy with the burgers I think they can do better on that end.

Always a great place when you are hungry, the breakfast burrito is big enough for two to share. Nothing here is petite or small, so be sure to come hungry. Not a fancy place to be certain, just comfort food and plenty of it.

The food here is mediocre at best. It’s kind of dirty and those fake flowers have got to go. The walls are covered with years of dust. Their breakfast burrito is good, no doubt but yesterday I ordered a turkey burger and onion rings. Awful. I feel if you can’t keep where the customers see clean, then it’s probably way dirtier in the back. Too bad. I wanted to like this joint.

HAIRALLTHROUGHOUTOURBURRITO!!! We ordered a Breakfast Burrito here on Easter morning and while I was cutting the burrito in half I noticed a piece of hair. Then I saw another one. We opened up the burrito and there were over 10 short pieces of hair throughout the burrito! There were probably more but we gave up looking because we were so disgusted. I got our money back for the burrito but what was worse is that the manager didn’t even seem to care that there was hair in it, he didn’t apologize or anything. We will NOT come here again it was disgusting!

Wow found a hidden gem in Simi of all places. My son goes down the school from here and stopped by this morning after dropping him off for school. I had heard they had good breakfast burritos but after trying these monsters would have to say they are HUGE and delicious. For less than 8 bucks my wife and split one and walked away satisfied(I could have eaten one on my own but would have needed a nap after due to food coma) The ambiance is a dive but the food was good. I will definitely be coming again and next time my eyes and taste buds will be fixed on trying the fried chicken and waffles breakfast

For a small place off the beater path this place is good. Waffles and Chicken rocks. I had their combo eggs, waffle and chicken. The chicken has a really nice crisp light batter. If you are in the Simi Valley area give Chef Burger a try. The next time I visit here I will try some Greek grub.
