I am furious I just came back from getting all my hair trimmed… I have front bangs and I asked her to cut my bangs and I showed her under my brows and the lady said okay. When she cut them she pushed them to the side so I didn’t notice tell I got home. I straighten them and they are way above my eye brows and not even! I will not be returning same with my boyfriend.

Nicole killed it. Great haircut and super personable. The coupon didn’t hurt either. I’ll be back.

I recommend seeing Janet here. She is terrific, personable and did a fine job on my haircut! I am super pleased and I have never received more compliments on my hair. I have seen her twice now and will back again for my next cut. My hair is slightly above shoulder length and moderately layered. You will not be disappointed!

Leticia is great and she’s got a customer for life, well, the life of my hair anyway. She’s been cutting my hair for years and I followed her here from another salon she was working at. I do like the ability to check in with the Great Clips app. It really streamlines the process. Nice clean store and very reasonable prices.

I was told if you check in prior it puts you in a priority they lied and when I called them to tell them that I did a check in and they need this code that’s in my phone she wouldn’t take it over the phone so sending my husband down with my son I still had to drive after them. And the phone said we only had 4 min to get there to show them the code for a discount and she said we had to wait until after the hair cut before she would take the code omg no management there to help them understand the code is going to expire. Dam Mexicans they are taking over

Excellent place, I have tried various places but this salon always provides fashionable advice that suits every customer. I have been a customer for 5 years now and will be for many more.

Let me explain the 4 stars– The energy in this salon is high strung. The stylists almost fight for the chance to make a couple dollars. For a price so low you’d think the store would be teeming with customers. But with such high competition there seems to be a lot of angst. Managers are responsible for creating a friendly environment. We would like a friendly Great Clips. The first time we went in the ladies were grumbling back and forth as to who was going to cut my daughters hair. There was a long pause and finally one person stepped back. The stylist grumbled that we just wanted a straight cut and said layers would look much better. She did a good job but good gosh what an environment.
The second time, I was nervous. My daughter wanted 8 inches off and layered. The stylist name was Janet. She styled it really well and didn’t complain what style we chose. The cut was sharp and no strays. We were happy and the price was great even without coupons. I liked the stylist so the four stars are for Janet she did a nice job but that environment needs work.

I’ve been here twice already, and this is for sure going to be the place I go to for haircuts. Janet, specifically gets my hair cut to perfection every time. She’s personable, funny, and professional. I’ve finally found the one who can cut my hair perfectly!

Was the only customer there and was told I needed to download their App on my phone to check in. Retarded. Do you go to a empty restaurant and have the hostess tell you that you need to download an app on your phone before you can be seated?! Not impressed. Simi Valley is a tough place to open a business and with bad customer service and mediocre haircuts I give the place 2 years before they close.

Hair cut was way to short on one side. She was too fast an reckless with the clippers. She played the part of a hair dresser «played». Good work is not cheep& cheep work is not good as with anything with life, lesson learned.

Gloria and ashlynn are great… don’t really care for the rest… less expensive than super cuts. that’s all it matters. lol

Went to this place three times. I left before ever getting a haircut. No customers in there either day. Worker arguing with sole customer over coupon. She did not want to honor coupon. Meanwhile I am left waiting at door till that argument is settled. Other worker standing by never bothered to help either. All three experiences are similar to this last one. I wont go back.

Clean location, friendly and fast!

So the owner contacted me after posting my bad review. Came back for a complementary free hair cut. Was much happier with the stylist. Now I recommend this shop to all friends and family. Thanks guys for correcting this.

I got a trim here and it turned out okay. Nothing special but for $ 12.99 I wasn’t expecting much. The staff is friendly too.

My husband explained to the girl how he wanted her to cut it in detail she repeated it back to him, then the buzzing began… she gave him a total buzz cut! I had to keep walking out just to keep mouth shut (didn’t want her to make it worse) well his poor head was butcher! Thank god his hair grows fast. Now I wonder what qualifications these girls have to cut hair!

After I wrote the following review the manager wrote me and said he felt bad for the confusion. He made things right and I appreciate when a business cares enough to do that. I am changing my stars from 3 to 4. Both times there we were given good haircuts.
Old review: This place is inconsistent with their pricing. Yesterday was a «flash sale» for $ 7.99 and when I went today it was $ 12.99. Now I see if I had checked in here it would have been $ 11.99. I had a coupon for $ 8.99 but they wouldn’t take it because it expired a week ago. I think they should have honored it anyway. Good for business. Right? The hairdresser followed what my son asked for and seemed apologetic for the price thing. Then, to top it off, after I paid, she gave me some coupons and one of them expired today. You’d think she would have offered it to me earlier? Checked in online but took a walk in before me. Not good business.

Meh, went in for a haircut a couple days ago.
Had a 15min or so wait, no problem there, they’re newly opened and there were only two people working that day.
My turn, and I’m assigned a stylist and just as I’ve told her what I wanted done (nothing elaborate, just cutting off a good six+ inches) she left me to go do something in the back of the shop.
Once returned, she started cutting, but it wasn’t many minutes until she left me alone in the chair again, this time to correct something in the register that apparently also required her to make a call to someone. A good 5 – 10 mins go by, without any communication with me whatsoever. Finally she came back and finished my cut. All in all she probably spent more time _​away_​from me than she did with me in the chair.
I get it, sometimes stuff needs to be dealt with, but when you’re with a customer at least apologize when you walk away in the middle of the job.
At least I had a coupon so the price was good, but doubt I’ll be back.

It’s great clips. Don’t expect a salon experience!
4 stars because when I went in, I had to wait 15 – 20 minutes because there was only one person working. She seemed frazzled and overwhelmed, which made me feel bad, so I don’t hold that against her.
I think her name was Brittany (could be wrong though). She gave me some cute layers and made my hair look cute again. Plus, $ 10 for a haircut? Can’t go wrong.
