Kids and I love the pizza! Great food and service by Andrew and Brandon. Both of them make us feel at home. I will recommend to my family, friend and co-​workers and everyone who lives in Simi!

What a great break from the norm! The service is great and the pizza is delicious made just the way you like it. The toppings are very fresh and you can customize your own any way you’d like. The crust tastes incredible. Gluten-​Free crust is available upon request

MOD is awesome. The staff is fun and very helpful. Gluten free options if that’s what you desire. Super fast and doesn’t break the bank. Literally every combination your inner pizza chef could think of. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome pizza. You can pick whatever you want and as much toppings as you want at no extra cost. Customer service is outstanding!!! A must eat place.

Yummm! Mod Pizza is the best. Prices are totally affordable, the menu is 100% customizable and as everyone’s already mentioned — the staff is second to none. Each team member was very attentive to my order, and made sure I was enjoying the food. Zowie, Alexi, and Korrina were all a huge help the night I came in to visit. I love getting a BBQ chicken salad or white pizza with pesto sauce and tons of CHEESE. Plus — they have milkshakes AND beer. This place is amazing. Two thumbs up :)

I tried to give 2.5 stars for the pizza but the staff was really nice. The pizza was OK. I ate the entire little pie. What they lack in good crust, they make up in topping selections. Great pizza if you never left the west coast. Ok pizza for those who had the real deal.

Drum roll please… and for my 250^th review here on Unilocal I have chosen to talk about a new find that was on point and off the hook excellent … and the winner is. Mod Pizza — Simi Valley!

First of all, what makes anything special? I can tell you without a doubt what makes Mod Pizza special is it’s people, from the moment I walked in you could tell this place was different.
I was greeted in a friendly manner and that friendliness was not just one person, but the whole crew. Everyone had a smile and genuinely made me feel welcome, customer service is a high priority and you can tell that in how everyone is treated. I like the build your own pizza concept and I have been to a few establishments that are like this, but Mod takes the top prize thus far, everything from the layout of the restaurant and customer flow to the offerings that can be used in the creation of your gastronomical pizza pie masterpiece, everything was done with the idea of pleasing the customer. I decided on a «Mod» size pizza, which is their medium, they also have a smaller and larger size offering. Prices are set by the size, not the amount of items you have them put on and that leads to quite the conundrum, quantity over design quality, sure you can max out the cheese and pepperoni and have the ultimate pizza for that, but I chose to go the latter route and go for overall pizza aesthetics and flavor.
So, the Ogre went for mozzarella, asiago and feta cheeses, with artichoke hearts, black olives and roasted asparagus and topped with a little pepperoni and ham. Wow, everything went well together and the crust was really good, not too thick and not too thin. The pizza are fired in a open oven and are done to perfection by the crew of master pizza constructors. I also had a Caesar salad and a drink and realistically this could have easily fed two people as the pizza was really good sized, as was the salad. Drink offerings were the normal soda machine or … a choice of lemonade, a berry lemonade, black tea or a carmelized pear tea (that was really good and I don’t really care for the taste of pears) the berry lemonade was awesome as well. Prices are really decent considering the quality of the food and the over the top customer service. So, here is my suggestion, go here, try them out and if you like them, keep going back … I know I will be, probably once a week.

Pizza is honestly my favorite thing, and I’m very picky about what I find good. I considered my favorites to be Toppers and Round Table until I tried Mod — needless to say it joined that list.
Mod Pizza is a create-​your-​own-​pizza. They offer three different sizes at very reasonable prices, not to mention you can put as many toppings as you like with no extra charge!
The customer service is always wonderful — the staff are a bunch of young people who always are kind and have smiles on their faces. The thin crust is delicious, and the toppings are always very fresh!
Mod is so delicious, I honestly probably come here once a week — that’s how good they are! My favorite is pizza with white sauce instead of marinara, and pepperoni and bacon. :)

Took the co-​workers here last Friday and everyone was very impressed with the quality and freshness of all the ingredients. Korrina was polite and courtesy when taking our order and Evan the Manager was friendly and made sure we were satisfied with everything! This place is great and we recommend it to all who have not tried it yet. You wont be disappointed!

Absolutely love this place! Although I shouldn’t admit how often I do come here… but I love seeing my homies Korina, Brianne-​Tiffany, Evan, Jack, Alex, and Andres! Thanks for making me feel like family every time, and feeding my very happy belly! I have yet to try the mega, but it sounds delicious…

Their gluten free pizza actually tastes good! I’ve been eating gluten free for awhile and can actually say their pizza tastes great!
Great atmosphere with original design that is unique to the city. Everyone should definitely check this place out… I’m sure it will be a new favorite hang out!

Gotta love the pizza @ Mod. Work may be INSANE but it’s never a bad time for a great pie. And Breann and Korrina are superstars. Never let us down.
Nice to have a regular place where the food is good, priced more than fairly, and the people are terrific.

There’s so many Pizza chains now, throughout So. Cal and that’s always great for us Customers. The pizza war’s have started. From the beginning, to the end my visit was tremendous.
Same concept as other pizza chains like, pizza rev and pieology. Make your own pizza.
With the opening of the new Starbucks, they offered a free pizza with the purchase of anything from starbucks. This is what brought me into this location of Mod pizza. So many times I passed it by with shopping at target or even trader joes.
I glad I did.
The employees where very friendly and didn’t rush you though the line, witch No guest ever wants to be rushed though.
As I was eating a employee came over to me and asked me if I enjoyed my pizza and of course I did.
So for a casual service pizza place, the employees did a fantastic job.

I think MOD has won the Simi race in terms of build your own pizza. They are both the newest, and in my book the best, BYOP in Simi.
I like that they have a lot of pre made options to choose from, or you can just do the classic create your own. The process is fast and the options are plentiful. I love that they have roasted cloves of garlic.
Being in a renovated center which is drawing more business is great. The location is prime in the middle of Simi and you can tell the inside was designed well. At first I was going to be upset that their wall of pictures featured Royal and Simi but not Santa Su, but then I found that they did indeed include the little school on the wall which made me feel like they did something right.
The blackberry lemonade is bomb, and the pizza is firm enough so that you can actually put some heavy topping on without it being impossible to eat (I’m looking at you Mr. Pieology.)
The manager working was on point with the customer service and I enjoyed him quite a bit. The dude making the pizza tho seemed disinterested (concerning considering the place was like a week old when I came in) and I watched him mess up the pizza before mine. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to be a little more personable on the employee front, and also to stop throwing all of the scraps of food on the floor behind you guys. When you stand by the register and see the floor with all of the scarps on there it is just pretty unappetizing.

The pizza here was OK but not great and I will give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened recently. My pizza came out with the toppings being still cold and being watery right above the cheese but they cooked it longer and gave me one on the house. The prices are very reasonable but the toppings were limited compared to the other competitors in the area.
