As I entered I was greeted right away. I ordered the pick two combo, half sandwich and a cup of soup along with a piece of sourdough bread. Mind you not, the piece of sourdough bread was bigger than my sandwich. The half sandwich was smaller than my hand and the piece of the sourdough bread that went with the soup was bigger than my sandwich. So the portion size not worth the value you’re paying for $ 12.00 and some change and mind you not your beverage does not come with your meal. An additional charge. Kinda pricey. On a bright note, I do commend you as a company wide that you have removed a chemical that is used to make plastic from your bread and it is called azodicarbonamide. You and Subway have done that Great. Free Wi-Fi throughout the Restaurant with some charging stations. The other issue is that your Deserts. Your display is to open, no cover over the top. With them being in the front and with the wind that we have been having out here, the dust and debris goes everywhere. When we go into a donut house, all the donuts are in a class case and not exposed to dust and other debris. This is a concern from my view, including also your bread. To much exposure from your fresh baked items. 014⁄100. Unilocal Challenge.(2016)

I want to give this place more stars because I love Panera and their food is some of the most fresh you can find if you want to dine out for a reasonable price, but this location needs work. I have been here a lot and I don’t think I’ve ever seen an employee who was overly friendly or made you feel welcome. No one looks too thrilled to be there. And they mess up my order almost every time. I don’t know why this is such a problem but I hope they fix it because I really do love Panera! The Burbank location is great and the Northridge one is good too so hopefully they look at their reviews and will make an effort to fix things eventually.

Great service, great soups, panini, chai tea lattes and pastries. Great place for brunch, and the staff is super sweet(: don’t forget to not pick up your plates or you’ll look funny walking around looking for a trash and plate bin with your plates in your hand.(From experience). I highly recommend the wonton soup

Oh man… so disappointed. Steak & Arugula Sandwich — Seared steak, arugula, vine-ripened tomatoes, pickled onions, garlic and herb cream cheese spread and mustard horseradish sauce on Sourdough. = 500 calories. Would be okay if you are into horseradish, but for me it was way too much and ruined the flavor of the sandwich. Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT — Roasted turkey raised without antibiotics, applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes and avocado with pure mayo on Sourdough. = 540 calories. Not bad! I like that the turkey used is without antibiotics. It’s a simple, home made flavor sandwich. Overall, for the price… to me, it’s not worth it. There is certainly potential and I like that they are experimenting with different ingredients for unique sandwiches, but it’s not something that blows my mind. It’s average. They have desserts and fresh bread baked on site. Service is nice and someone walks around asking how your meal is, brings you napkins and cleans up the tables. Overall, mediocre.

I love their soup bread bowls at Panera. I usually get the broccoli and cheese. This location isn’t bad to hang out at… it’s a bakery /café. A lot of people come here and just sit on their laptops. I just wish they had more outlets so I can plug my charger.

This review is specifically for their breakfast menu, ok? After weeks of always missing Panera’s breakfast hours, we finally managed to squeeze it in our morning and it’s was such a bummer because we really expected much better. First of all, the breakfast menu consists of various egg sandwiches, oatmeal, and bagels with cream cheese. Big whoop. I ordered the Avocado, Egg & Spinach Power Sandwich and my other half ordered an Egg, Sausage & Cheese sandwich with tomato on a bagel. Honestly we should have just ordered the oatmeal and called it a day. Right off the bat the guy behind the counter, although really handsome, spoke in snotty monotone as if he didn’t want to be there. He had to ask the ladies behind the counter 4 times for my cappuccino, and I would hear it again 7 times before my boyfriend had to literally ask someone for it, well after our sandwiches had arrived at the table. Like 20 minutes after. And the sandwiches were just gross, I don’t know what else to say. Their bagels don’t really have any flavor, and I honestly felt like I was eating McDonald’s, but it didn’t taste as good. The service and quality was really unfortunate. I honestly don’t know why anyone would choose Panera’s for breakfast… I much prefer Corner Bakery, at least you can get a a plate of scrambled eggs and pancakes, and their entire menu is much better tasting! Hell, if you want a real breakfast go to Old Santa Susana Café or First Street Family Restaurant and skip this joint!

Food was pretty good. The grilled cheese could have used more cheese. Service was good. Tables could have been cleaned better. Overall, a decent trip.

Used to be okay but food and service have gone way down! Chicken Noodle soup is nothing more than overly salted water, coffee is watery and always full of grounds, sandwiches are skimpy with over-processed meats, salads are meh, pastries are dense and dry yet oily(weird!). Overpriced for quantity and quality of food. Orders are almost always wrong and the line moves slow! The bathroom was disgusting!!! Trash all over the watery floor, only one sink working and no towels to dry hands. Management is a HUGE problem! The last time I went was for lunch around 1:00. The restaurant was still busy and I tried to find a table with my two little ones. Apparently, the general manager was eating his lunch alone at one of the few large booths and two other employees occupied the other large booth next to him. Why take your best tables for your break when your customers have no where decent to sit! Even worse, the manager finished his lunch and didn’t buss or clean his table! When I asked if he was finished so I could finally sit, he said yes and I had to ask him to please clean it. Instead of cleaning his own mess, he asked the only poor kid on the floor working hard to clean up after him! RUDE!!!

Food was terrible, clearly heated up in a microwave. Also they discontinued the only good thing on the menu which was the southwest chicken sandwich. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Found a bug in my sandwich. Went in to take a bite of the middle of my sandwich and there it was. I can’t even believe that. That is the most disgusting thing that could ever happen. I most definitely never be back to Panera, makes me question what else you’d find in their restaurants.

I come to this location quite often. The staff is always friendly. The catering manager Jackie is great to work with. I usually call in morning group orders 4 – 5 days a week. They always have it ready by the time I arrive in 10 min. Wish some of the other Paneras had the service like this location.

This restaurant USED to be one of my favorites… Why the change of heart? I found a dead cockroach by the men’s bathroom on June 3, 2015. It was definitely dead. The table I sat at was sticky… from a questionable, damp source. It had not been cleaned. The handles of the chairs are grimy. Must I carry those disposable wipes that COSTCO sells? The atmosphere has had a math tutor arguing with his student everytime I go there.(And I used to be there for a sandwich three times per week.) It is somewhat embarrassing to hear him shout at her. I will not return to PANERA, this PANERA. What happened to you? This is PANERA?

This location is usually busy as it’s the only one in Simi and right near a lot of stores. I don’t go here as much as I have previous locations due to the insanely long time it takes to get food, the lack of detail for cleaning, and the price. More often then not if there are tables they are dirty with previous people’s dishes. If you have to order coffee and bagels for a work meeting it will suit that need fine but don’t expect to get in and out for a lunch break

The food was okay. Not bad, not great. The service was mediocre and we had to wait a little longer than we’d like for our food. We were very hungry though so overall it hit the spot. I’ve been to better Panera’s before but it wouldn’t hurt to try this place out for yourself. Who knows, it might have been an off day. We’ll definitely be giving them a second chance.

I call in my order, because this place gets PACKED around lunch. The food is consistent, which is good. Then have only messed up my order once out of the 10 times I have been there so that’s good. It is also always ready when I walk over to pick it up(Takes about 15mins tops). The staff are mostly friendly, but sometimes kind of awkward. Maybe they were new? Who knows. But all in all this place is pretty good.

I used to love Panera bread. Unfortunately this location has gone downhill. I normally don’t comment negatively about food places however I feel this time I cannot help myself. Service– my wife called in an order for us to get two soups with bread bowls she is charged for the bread bowls. After waiting in a long line to pickup the food the person says«sorry we are out of bread bowls but I threw in some extra bread» turned out to be a slice and a half of bread… Not sure how that is even remotely acceptable. Food– beside not getting the bread bowls the soup was the same. We also ordered a sandwich in which the quality and caliber was seriously lacking from standard Panera bread I am used to. There was one slice of avacodo and one piece of some sort of budget bacon on the whole sandwich in addition to the lettuce, tomato and turkey(which was quite possibly out of a can). I might add that there was no pickle or baguette with the sandwich. Just wanted to share my experience with those curious about this restaurant. Unfortunately I will have to seriously reconsider visiting this place again which is a shame given there isn’t much In simi to choose from.

It is a real shame that restaurants and service in general in Simi just suck! I worked in Agoura and fell in LOVE with Panera. A little pricey but still a great sandwich, I love the rapid ordering and even did some alone time there(in Agoura). Yesterday was the first time in Simi, and not only did I arrive 10 minutes AFTER the order was to be done, I had to ask for it and then it was incomplete. REALLY! The lady behind the counter was even like, «oh ya –its here» She see could care less. I called and spoke to the manager and although she«put my name in a book and all I have to do is call and they will give me another order for free» she was unprofessional and again ‘who cares’attitude. I don’t know if corp or managers read these but it is just a shame that there is no pride in work or really caring for the customer.

This is one of the two Panera’s in my area that I frequent. This one is okay. The food is pretty good. I mostly order soup and salads or the Pick Two. I am not a big fan of their sandwiches. The cookies and pastries are always good. This location gets fairly busy and can get crowded during lunch and dinner hours. Because of that, this place is not always as clean as maybe is should be. The employees seem to have a hard time keeping up with cleaning up after the crowds, and the floor or tables are often dirty and need a quick cleaning. This is a pretty large location and there is plenty of seating. The wi-fi is free and you will often find people here studying or getting tutored. The employees are friendly and make you feel welcome when you come in to the restaurant. They are helpful and do walk around and offer to clean up for you when it is not too busy. The food always comes out quickly. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. 7⁄100

Don’t go at dinner time!!! Worse service!!! We called for our food around 7:24. I got there at 7:27(they said 15 minutes) and the food was not ready. Which would have been fine except the person working on the food was serious annoyed that I was there already. She said 10 minutes. At 7:45, I got my food. Took it home(about 2.5 miles) and my husbands soup was cold. And my chicken salad sandwich was pathetic.(See the picture I posted). Hardly any meat. All bread and lettuce. Extremely dissatisfied.
