Quilty Pleasures

Now that they have been in town for awhile I just wanted to say that they are still an awesome quilt shop. Lots of fabric selections, classes, demonstrations (Saturday Sampler was fantastic!, Thanks Wendy!), coffee & tea & water, EZ chair to relax in, and just an all-​around great place to relax and shop. Kathy, the owner, is friendly and helpful. Thanks for the addition to our town and for joining our quilt guild.

Quilty Pleasures, you had me at hello! On my Row by Row road trip, I stumbled on to this little gem in Simi Valley. A cute little store that is jam-​packed with beautiful projects at a variety of levels, and some wonderful fabrics. The store is clean and easy to move through. The employees were friendly and really make me feel welcome. After I had made my purchase, I was admiring the block of the month. I asked if it was just the pattern or if it came with a kit (fabric included with pattern). She said that it was only the pattern, but she would be willing to put together a kit for me. Wonderful connections with customers, and I will definitely be back up to this neck of the woods!

This is an adorable quilt store. The people there are so helpful and the store has a lovely variety of fabrics, as well as many other interesting products and even a few gift items not related to quilting. They offer classes in almost any type of quilting projects. They even have an area where you can just have a coffee or tea and visit, or read a quilt magazine in a comfy overstuffed chair. A few times a week they offer a few hours called, «Open Sew», where you can bring your machine or hand work and sew whatever you want and visit and make new friends. It’s such an added pleasure to spend time there, and certainly fits the name «Quilty Pleasures». If you like to be with people who love to quilt and sew, this is a great place to spend time.

This shop is a joy, a great find. I was giving up on quilting because it was really expensive, and the shops around here were not friendly. These ladies are friendly and down to earth. The prices are better than the quilt shops around here, especially the classes. I would heartily recommend!

Wonderful atmosphere and fabrics choices! This quilting store is unlike any I’ve ever seen. It is set up like you are visiting a friend, with comfortable living room chairs to sit in as you look through the large variety of books. Fresh coffee and treats are always available, fabric is attractively displayed, kits are available, and finished quilts on the walls announce classes offered. The owners, Kathy and Shannon, welcome you personally, along with the friendly ladies who work there. I appreciate being able to browse without feeing pressured to make up my mind. This store celebrates quilting, friendship, creativity, and and a sense of belonging. I highly recommend Simi Valley’s new quilting store!
