As a business professional, this place has mostly everything that you need. I don’t often come to this location but when I do, I always end up buying something. The prices are a little on the high side but thats the only negative I would give this place.

Purchased software download of HR Block software at and download would not function nor was activation code provided in follow up email. Went to store and manager could not help because of no refund on download policy. Two hours on hold with HR and no answer. Over an hour on two calls to Staples support and they could not help because tech left already. Only wanted store credit so I could pay the $ 20 extra for box set but nothing anyone could do about it. «That was Easy» — motto is a joke. It was difficult and only resolution was«call Monday morning again and give a try»

The copy center has always gone out of their way to get my work done, AND help save me money doing it by suggesting more cost-effective ways to put things together. I do five labor-intensive mailers a year with a combination of single sided, double sided, some color, and some black and white fliers that get mailed to 600 plus addresses. They make the copies, tri-fold them, stuff the envelopes, and address all of these quickly and accurately without fail. Thank you Tony for taking all of these complicated demands in stride! Terrific customer service.

When someone calls. Answer the phone promptly. When you finally do answer the phone and transfer that person to another department and the other department never picks up, don’t be surprised when they take their copy business to Fed Ex /Kinko’s. We have choices

A few days ago I visited this staples location. While standing in line the cashier encountered a difficult return. She called over the manager for help who came over and was beyond rude to her cashier(Kim I think) practically yelling at her that she couldn’t believe she didn’t know how to do this type of return etc. I than felt embarrassed for the cashier because this lady Janet was the MANAGER, and was humiliating her in front of other customers. As my patience grew thin I set my items down and took my business else where. Disappointed with the lack of professionalism I witnessed!

Saw an iPad Air in their ad for $ 359 tried to buy online but no way to add it to my cart go into the store and they say they don’t carry them try ordering them online. So I finally am able to add it to my cart but at $ 50 higher, I ask them what happened to the price listed on the front page of the website and the print ad I received, I want the lower price, all I got was sorry those prices are listed wrong in two places the higher price you see is correct. Horrible service.

Ok, so we were out of toner and I went online to see who carried it. Called Staples and spoke with a lady and she said that they had it. I told her I would be down to pick it up. When I got there I went right to the toner section but couldn’t find it. I looked for a good 5 minutes and was disappointed. I went up to the counter and just before I could finish my sentence about them not having it, the young lady I spoke with said«Oh, its right here. I placed it aside for you and this was the last one.» I asked if she was the one I spoke with and she said yes. A big thanks to Katie! She saved me a log to time running around looking for the toner.

I went here twice. The first time I was very much underwhelmed by the service. They were understaffed and the employee helping me did not handle the stress very well. I asked her how her day was going in an attempt to cheer her up, but she just complained. There is an emergency exit door that looks like a regular exit door that I accidentally used. It says EMERGENCYEXIT right on the door so that was my fault, but the reaction from the employees put me off. I did not make the stressful employee’s day go any better, and she failed to rise to the occasion. Another employee walked by me and looked at my like I did something wrong, which definitely put me off. The second time I went was for lack of options. It was a slower day and a new employee helped me with their print services. She was very helpful. However, at times she seemed to be more occupied with talking to another employee than giving me what I needed quicker. She also discussed with the other employee how she can’t wait to get off her shift after she helps me, and that she was going to get wasted. I don’t like feeling that I am holding anybody up, especially if I’m their customer.

Had a coupon I wanted to use. First time I called they said they would have a shipment later in the week, but no tablets were on the shipment. Coupon is only for in-store use, so cannot use online. Later they said check the internet, and later they would allow me to buy it instore through there. Call back once it was available online, and now they said they won’t. They have horrible stock, and it felt like I got the runaround and wasted my time. Horrible over the phone customer service. I don’t think anybody here knows what they’re doing.

My computer bag broke and it was stuck in the car because it was too heavy to carry into my office. I wanted to go to Office Max where I bought it originally because I knew they would have the largest selection to choose from, but the closest one was miles from the job site and all I had was an hour for lunch, so I looked up all the office supply stores in Simi Valley and Staples was the closest one. I could of burned through the majority of my lunch hour shopping but with the help of customer service Superman Joe, he located all of the wheeled bags for 17 inch laptops, pulled them off of the shelf and in about 10 minutes out of a choice of about 4, I decided on a bag that suited my needs. It actually took longer to wait in line and pay for the bag than it did to choose one. I had so much time left that on my way back to work, I drove down to Quizno’s and bought myself lunch. Thank you Staples — you rock!
