I have wild, curly hair and its been hard to find someone who gets it. I am excited & grateful to have met Lindsey at the Tapo Canyon store — she completely understood my complaints, issues and goals and gave me the best cut I’ve had in YEARS.

We were helped pretty quickly. They worked efficiently. I saw the other two ladies working and they look well done. One gal was very friendly and nice to the young girl getting her haircut on her father’s lap. The older women did two awesome short fades. My gal was patient and helped us formulate a haircut for my boyfriend. I’ll call her Miss A. She point-cut his cowlick, which is the best because that thing was gnarly and thinned his hair out. We had a five on the sides and four taper on bottom. And one inch off the top for him to spike up. There were some issues. Miss A did white walls around his ears. Though it is my fault because I did not tell her NOT to make white walls. But one side was shaved higher than the other and it wasn’t smooth; it had a little dent in it. Course, I’m not going to have that evened because it would make the white wall higher. When he looks forward, his sideburns are both slanted. One goes \ towards the face the the other goes /away from face. His hair line on the sides were pretty good. Just a little lump towards the bottom corner that I had to ask to nip off. But I forgot the check the other side. She also did not clean his neck hairs. I’m happy at least I found a decent hairstyle for my boyfriend and his crazy hair.

I needed a quick coloring and cut. I called and got an appointment within the hour. My stylist/colorist was Riley and she was awesome!!! I had some serious roots with a lot of gray and my hair needed cutting. I felt so good when I left and looked so much better. Thank you Riley. Everyone, go see Riley!!!

I came in for a haircut because Supercuts is known for being affordable. Affordable isn’t always best. I was here last week to get my haircut. The wait was over 30 minutes to begin with, granted it was a Friday afternoon around 3 pm. I told the lately when checking in that I wanted a shampoo. When it came time to being called for my haircut, the stylist was about to start cutting before I reminded her I wanted a shampoo. I showed her a photo and explained how short I wanted my hair cut. It is definitely shorter then I asked for. I didn’t complain to the stylist but I cannot trust to come back to any Supercuts now due to this incident. It was like she kept cutting and cutting and now my hair is above my shoulders.

This review is for Laila! She is the best! I always call ahead for her because she is always busy. I think everyone requests her because she is really good! She does exactly what you ask for! I always leave very happy with my haircut! Love it!

This review is not for the Supercuts store but rather for my stylist, Raquel Huang. She does a great job with hair mens cuts and is always friendly. She has worked here for years and loves what she does. Make an appointment and come go see her.

Usually I have a good experience here. Today, I was turned away for showing up 4 minutes after 4pm for my haircut. Apparently, they close at 4pm on Sunday. I would have taken the work. No customer service.

Nicole took care of me this week and was AMAZING! Her happy energy was infectious and the cut/wash was on point too. I think I found my girl! Enough to follow her if she ever decides to go.

I was just in this store in Simi Valley to have my 5 year old son hair cut. My son has autism and getting a hair cut is an extremely challenging ordeal. I asked if they had someone who could take on the challenge and they assured me that they did. My son jumped into Nicole’s chair. I told her I would hold him down and did not care if things did not look perfect. That is an impossible request. She just stared at me and said she«can not cut his hair when he is «like that» I assured her to just take the clippers to it and she refused. She kept saying she couldn’t do it «when he is like this». Yes he was fighting me, as per usual doing a hair cut, but I have never come across someone that would not even try. She let him sit for 20 seconds before she said she was unable to cut his hair. Nicole didn’t even try. She seemed annoyed that I was even asking. Nicole was not autistic friendly and I thought people should know they have stylist that are not accommodating to people, especially children, with disabilities. She had zero patience and desire to work with me and my unique situation. I was able to go across the street to Fantastic Sam’s and a sweet old lady was patient enough to work with me. She did not make me feel like a «bad mom» who couldn’t control her kid. Thanks for making my already difficult life with my autistic child that much harder Nicole!

Usually not a long wait, and decent haircuts. I don’t buy the«products», cause I really don’t use much in the way of products.

So I’ve been doing the Supercuts thing now for quite a while… from getting the short summer buzz to attempting an Elvis pompadour. While I’ve always gotten friendly service, I must say that I’ve rarely gotten the same barber twice. it always seems like they’ve got new or different people in there, so I’ve also rarely gotten the same exact haircut or experience twice. Currently I keep it long in the front and short in the back & sides to maintain some semblance of a rockabilly look. Basically I have to explain every time I go in there, what I want and how I want it to look(which you’re going to do anyway) but it seems like the stylist isn’t quite grasping what it is I’m trying to do with my hair. I know I’d be better off going to a real men’s barber or even a specialized stylist, but I’m just looking to get in and out and under $ 20 bucks. I usually call ahead and have no problem getting in after waiting for less than 10 minutes. For the price they offer and the quality of the cuts i get, I’ve no real complaints. I’ve even gotten compliments on my hair once I grease it up, and people have been surprised when I say I’ve been to Supercuts, not some highfalutin top dollar barber!

I was in need of a quick/cheap trim. Since I’m not familiar with any salons in the area, I went with a chain. They did a good job, and I there was almost no wait. For a quick/cheap cut, you really can’t beat Supercuts, as long as you’re not expecting much more.
