Hair in food on three separate occasions. Disgusting. I only came back in moments of needing to eat and wanting it to be healthier(no nutrition facts though, anywhere on the menu or online). I gave it another shot, only to have hair in my food again. Avoid.

Super bummed because I genuinely liked the place but the last couple of times I have been disappointed. I can’t have dairy. Both times I asked for no sour cream/cheese and both times I got both on my plate. It’s frustrating enough to have dietary restrictions but when people don’t listen to those it’s kind of a bummer. I don’t know if it’s the front end or the cooking staff but please train to listen to a customers needs.

I got news for you. you’re gonna like it. what, you ask? it doesn’t matter what. if you eat here, it’s gonna be good. I’ve lived in close proximity to one of the various locations for The Natural Café, and over all those years, have eaten many times and enjoyed it each and every time. today the same think happened. I ordered, waited, enjoyed, and so did the guests I had with me. enjoy!

Food is pretty good, service is OK. I wish they had vegan dessert options and more vegan meal options.

Not bad for being in Simi Valley. Friendly staff and yummy salads. Price point is a little too high for what you are getting though. If you are into healthy this place is for you. If you are trying to eat clean. This is a good place to start. The menus are simple and lots to choose from. The smoothies are actually yummy!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I liked the food, but I didn’t like the vibe. I ordered a taco salad that was filling, had all fresh ingredients, and tasted pretty darn good. I also had a cup of cream of broccoli soup which was very good. However, I felt like I was eating in a food court at the mall which made me less than excited to be there. So the next time I am in the mood for something on the healthier side, I will put this place on the list for take out.

I WISH they were GMO free and Organic, but they are not. I enjoy the food choices on the menu; however they are missing the point entirely. The food may taste fresh and healthy, but not being organic brings up a bigger question: Why serve seemingly healthy food if the food is go ridden and sprayed with pesticides? PLEASE go Organic Natural Café– you are so close to being a truly honest natural café.

I came here with my coworkers for lunch. They have a variety of salad, pasta, pizza, and sandwiches. You can also have a combo of soup + salad, or soup + ½ sandwich. I don’t eat too much so I ordered the kiddie pasta(pasta of the day with chips & salsa). When I got the meal, it still looked big to me. I finished all the food so I didn’t have leftovers and I ended up taking a 40 minutes nap afterwards… definitely was filling for me. There’s plenty of parking since it’s in a plaza. It’s near panda express/starbucks. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. The utensils are next to the register. The water, condiments etc are on the table around the register. Restrooms are in the back. Workers here are super nice. You can also order to go, or call in for an order. The price is pretty good. Most prices are around $ 9-$ 11. Kid’s meals are around $ 5 – 6.

We won to entrees for this place when wr came to see an outdoor door concert in Simi Valley At first we were kind of hesitant because a café that serves healthy items how good can it taste. Decided to try it. I ordered the pesto salmon with brown and a sal ad. I was pleasantly surprised that it taste good I would recomend.

I love this place for lunch! The salads are fresh and delicious. The hummus is amazing — smooth and creamy. The location is great, outdoor seating. The restaurant is clean and maintained. The service is terrific! The prices are reasonable and the food portions are good. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately I will no longer be eating at the«Natural Café» since I’ve just discovered that they serve Tyson Chicken. Anyone who is a real vegan knows how vile Tyson Chicken is. And for a restaurant to present themselves as vegetarian and serve this on their menu is absurd! It’s as bad as Trader Joe’s thinking themselves as a heath food market – it’s laughable. Tyson is one of the largest abusers of chickens in the world. I wouldn’t feed their chickens to my dogs, so how The Natural Café can do it says that they are catering to an uninformed group. If you are a true vegan – or even a pseudo-vegetarian– I would not feel comfortable eating here.

I have been obsessed with Natural Café ever since I lived in Santa Barbara for college. The OG location is in Santa Barbara and it’s a staple in the city. Like Starbucks, it’s on every corner there. My all-time favorite dish to get is the Dolce Vita pizza. It comes on a whole wheat pita and instead of tomato sauce they use pesto sauce. It’s then topped with jack cheese, tomatoes, and feta cheese. I always ask them to melt the feta cheese all the way to make it gooey. As for the side salad, it comes with red onion, sprouts, tomatoes, and jicama. I would recommend getting the tahini dressing! It’s a light dressing that has a hint of sweetness. I also recommend the gobbler burger. It is one of the best turkey burgers you will ever have. It comes with tomato, red onion, sprouts, and thousand island dressing. I always add avocado to it. I’ve had their pesto salmon before and it was super flavorful and cooked very well. The portabella mushroom sandwich is really good too. It’s juicy and comes on a healthy whole wheat toast. If I’m ever looking for a healthy meal in Simi Valley, this is the place to go.

I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. The people at the counter are friendly and helpful. The Natural Café has lots of options for people with special diets(vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, etc.) The grilled cheese, old town salad, and la doce vita pizza are all favorites of mine. I love adding a side salad to entrees for $ 2. If you need a lot of food like my brother you may need an extra side or two but for an average person the portion size is great.

I come here often, and I love this place. Really excellent food. The prices could be more reasonable. They also should realize that they market that they are catering too would really appreciate compostable takeout containers. If they gave that a shot, they’d have 5 stars in my book.

Finally alive enough to write this. Man am I disappointed with Natural Café! In an effort to agree with my boyfriend on eating something«healthy» away from home I managed to get food poisoning that put me out for 2 whole days! I ordered«The Local Favorite» of all things, a mere avocado sandwich! For hours later all I kept tasting was the damn red onion in my mouth and suddenly it’s 12AM and I’ve hit rock bottom with a fever & stomach pain! They must’ve not washed the vegetables that day– Nonetheless I’ll never set foot in one of these joints again!!! PS. For perspective, my boyfriend ordered the«Grilled Chicken Pita.» As he puts it, a more accurate description of this«sandwich» should be: Three limp grilled chicken tenders placed atop a useless mound of sprouts & other nonsense stuffed inside HALF a piece of flimsy whole wheat pita and tragically buried in cold shredded cheddar cheese.

My go is the Teriyaki Chicken sandwich. It’s a chicken breast with teriyaki, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, & garlic menu, on delicious wheat bread. It also comes with blue corn tortilla chips and a salsa. The salsa used to be outstanding, but lately it’s really watery and I don’t even eat anymore. I also enjoy the chicken ceaser salad. I normally don’t like ceaser dressing, but if I lightly drizzle it then it’s perfect. I almost always order ahead and take it to go. The cashiers are usually college kids, so service is not always great– but hey I’m just taking it to go, so it’s fine. Lots of parking and easily accessible. Probably come here 1 – 2 a month. Always very enjoyable. Never a poor experience.

We were in the area and it was a great opportunity to check my Unilocal bookmarks. This place took us a while to find. Although we knew it was in this large strip mall, we had a hard time locating it. In fact, I called the restaurant for help as we circled the parking lot. Here’s a tip, look for a medium-sized fountain and a Baja Fresh. Finally inside, the gal at the cashier was friendly and helpful. The menu has many vegan options. The Tempeh Tacos has this zesty red sauce that tastes like marinara sauce. So it was almost like eating Italian flavors in tortilla with alfalfa sprouts and generous slices avocado. It wasn’t bad, it was just an interesting combination. Although I’m not rushing back anytime soon, I’d give this place another go if I were in the area again.
