Stopped in this cute little place on our way to Hoodoo on recommendation of a friend as a cute little coffee spot. The line wasn’t too long. We went to grab a cup of self serve coffee while we waited and they were out. Then we proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. The line didn’t even move. Considering they don’t have hot meals and just baked goods I couldn’t figure out why this was taking so long to grab two coffees and a bagel. We walked out which is a bummer because this looked so hopeful

I travel extensively for work. It is so hard to find vegan options. This place has lots of choices. The vegan cinnamon roll was one of the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had!!! Also got a veggie wrap to go and it was very good. My wife really liked her egg and spinach bagel as well. Next time I am in Bend I will definitely make the drive to Sisters to visit my new favorite place to eat.

Popped in here on our way through Sisters and bad an amazing breakfast with some of the kindest service I have ever experienced and witnessed. Being an east coast bagel snob I was even pleasantly surprised by my bagel sandwich. Will definitely be coming back the next time in town

So, my brother and I decided to rage in the great C.O. for Halloween. Our definition of «rage» is eating caramel apples with his dog dressed up in a butter costume, by the way. To get our holiday started off right, I met him on his lunch break at a local employer. Being natives of the hipster enclave that is the San Francisco Bay Area, we naturally refuse to settle for anything less than gluten-free, vegan and agave-sweetened bakery fare(unless it’s Applebee’s, see prior review). This left us with one choice for dining in Sisters, possibly only one choice for dining in the entire Pacific Northwest if not the world, because where else can you get agave-sweetened bakery fare? WHOKNOWS! That choice was Angeline’s. Now that I’ve set the stage for this«A-OK» review, I’ll let my dear brother take it from here, because our parents taught us to share… I had a bagel sandwich it was good not the best ever but good a little above average so I would actually rate this 3 and a half stars not 3 but that is not an option anyway I wish they gave you sun chips when you dine in instead of the whatever the kind of chips they gave me were but maybe next time I will ask for them ok ps the water jug that is conveniently located with cups is nice water tasted good

I have very mixed emotions w/this place. The service is very sweet, sincere, & helpful. The venue itself is very charming w/a local«good to see you again» vibe. Everything is made in-house and done w/care & passion. The mixed feelings derive at the fact that aside from the cookies(delicious), the baked goods are blah bland. If I still touted my gluten-free lifestyle or had celiac disease, I’m sure I would be much more appreciative. With that said, I have been disappointed every-time with their treats. Everything has a very flat«all the same» profile to it. Stiil, I truly like this place & will continue to visit for the cookies & ambiance!

Came here on the recommendation of someone staying in the same campground as myself. It seemed to be mostly gluten free and vegetarian/vegan, neither of which I am, but everything looked fantastic. I decided on a tasty walnut cinnamon roll and a late, with the assistance of the bubbly gal behind the counter. They were great choices and a nice way to start a full day of hiking. A month later I even picked up a hitch hiker and drove an hour out of my way so I had a reason to get another pre-hike treat!

We were on the road to Bend and needed to stop for sustenance. Being a car full of special needs eaters, it can be difficult to find a place that can feed us all. Angeline’s delivered and then some. From the super tasty salad with tofu curry and green goddess dressing, to the multiple gluten-free pastries that JD had, to the pesto stromboli and the veggie wrap… there were no bad choices.

I stop here whenever I’m in town. All of their food and pastries are amazing and I’m so happy they offer gluten free and vegan options. Bakery is cute and welcoming. I’ve never ventured to the back, but based off of photos they have a lovely grassed patio with seating available.

Gross gross gross, gluten free scones are the only thing worth eating. I don’t like seeing flies in the bakery counter. Service is slow and the girls are not friendly

If it’s Sunday and you have a breakfast place you need more than two people doing the work. Not just to push people through at the register, but so you can make the quality food and coffee your regular customers usually get. Today’s breakfast suffered because of the overwhelming crowd.

They were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. We had pastries, breakfast sandwich and coffee. Their gluten-free options are fantastic. Excellent variety as well as flavor.

Pretty good food and average coffee are ruined by some of the WORST service we have experienced. We are local to Sisters and gave this place plenty of opportunities. It’s the same cold woman always taking orders and I assume she accounts for most of the negative Unilocal reviews. We travel all over the world for work and love food. It saddens us to say that our personal«worst service in a restaurant» award goes to a home town place. Let this woman go and we might come back. Until then we will choose to take our service elsewhere.

I thought I would stop in for a couple of cookies. Never having been here before I wanted to check it out. I admit I’m not into vegan, gluten free anything. I was disappointed that seemed to be the only choices — ok it you need or want that but not great for me. Still I bought an oatmeal raisin cookie. It was not good… heavy clove taste and so dry & hard I threw it away. Cute place but not for me.

Kombucha on tap — whaaaat? With 3 flavor options! Lemon ginger was A+ Running the show were a few very kind women. They didn’t even flinch when I accidentally spilled my kombucha all over the place(drenching myself as well). Nor did they help us clean it up. We were on our hands and knees with a bunch of paper-thin napkins, but I don’t hold it against them because the place was hopping, and it was my mistake after all. I apologized for the sticky floor. «Oh that’s okay, sweetheart. Just go and refill your cup.» Off I went to the kombucha tap. Our food arrived a minute later. We tried the Spinach Mushroom Quiche, Pesto Stromboli, and Kale Caesar Salad — were pleased with all, especially the kale caesar, which was fantastic. We left full and happy. Nevermind that I smelled like a big fermented mushroom.

For a place that’s mostly gluten free and vegan, their cinnamon roll was awesome! The bottom had a nice crunch sticky glaze to it, which was my favorite part. Lots of brown sugar is always a plus! The size for ~$ 4 was also ridiculously huge. It’s easily one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve had! I’m a fan!

A little gem in the town of Sisters. It has delicious breakfast and lunch items. I was happy to see that they had fresh squeezed juices and kombucha. You can tell this place is run by women. It was warm and well done.

Obvious negativity between 2 women who work the front. They were out of most menu items. Coffee wasn’t very good. It tasted as though it had residue flavoring, which I don’t like.

Really good food, and surprising to find raw, vegan, and gluten free things in Sisters. Service is a bit weird, and annoying that they don’t have honey. Seems strange that they are vegan enough to not serve honey, but they do serve turkey and eggs. The maté was also delicious.

Still a favorite spot for me in Sisters, here are a few recent discoveries to supplement my earlier review: 1) Breakfast options in Sisters are minimal during the week. In addition to a fantastic selection of pasties, Angeline’s also offers breakfast burritos and a hearty Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich(your choice of bagel with egg, cheese, spinach, tomato and cream cheese). 2) The large backyard behind the bakery has a stage and is a venue for Festive Fridays evening concerts during the summer months — Cover varies from $ 5 – 10,
