Roland’s

We’d been looking forward to a spa visit for months, primarily one with an outdoor hot tub. But somehow we didn’t remember to pack our bathing suits…
So when we checked in to the Mirbeau up the hill, they recommended Roland’s for swimsuits, at least for the guys. During our run, we stopped in. The guys at the front were very helpful — digging out from bins in the basement the swimsuits that they had left for the off-​season. They’d advised that it wouldn’t be much for the women’s, all one-​pieces, and sure enough it was one bin full. It was mostly one-​pieces, but there were one or two bikinis. I found one that I liked and tried it on in the changing rooms at the back. Meanwhile, they found two options for J, one for $ 9.99, and since that was his main differentiator, we were set.
Their selection of cold weather performance gear seemed to be excellent, but I wasn’t looking for anything specific. And, per Murphy’s law, since I wasn’t trying to spend any money besides for the swimsuit, everything was appealing.
The guys at the front held our suits for 20 or so minutes while we finished our run, then checked us out.
