It is one of the best neighborhood bars I’ve been too! The bartenders are great, they make great drinks and remember patrons. The food is delicious! Burgers or Ruben are my favorite. .and they have wide variety of beers. I recommend Tiger Tale for any night out or even lunch :)

The Tigers Tale is our favorite neighborhood place. From steaks and burgers to clams and salad. You’ll find things in this restaurant that you can’t always find at a Sports bar! It’s also a nice place to go to for a few drinks on The weekend. We love Rob the bartender by the way!

I’m a fan of this place. It is a cozy atmosphere, a bit noisy but the customer service is always great. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I really enjoy the soup and salad combo, as simple as it is. The menu has a large selection. I will return.

I always have a great dining experience when I come here. I has a dive bar vibe but a little more high-energy because of all the telivisions. Mostly New York fans, which is a great get away from the Philadelphia garbage that overload this area. The food is always good and so is the beer selection. I recommend the boneless bufallo sliders.

Was just there over thanksgiving. I have worked for many years in restaurants and I rarely review places. Food was far below par, burger came out raw. I sent it back and they only seared it for thirty seconds, leaving it still raw. But, the biggest issue was the horrific, humorless waitress who obviously does not care about anyone but herself. The weak manager comped the burger, which was the bare minimum he could do. Overall a terrible experience. Recommend avoiding at all costs until this place adopts a fresh approach.

Great local town bar/restaurant. Their burgers are good as well as the wings. I have had the Tigers Tale chicken sandwich a couple of time and its also a good. Portions are above average so order accordingly or you will have a lot of food left over. They have a pretty good beer selection and the mixed drinks are no bad also. They do get busy so be prepared to wait 20 – 30 mins on Friday/Saturday evenings for a table after 6pm. They are kid friendly, our boys like to go here since they give popcorn from the bar to the kids a the tables to munch on — best to sit in the restaurant side(away from the bar) during happy hour or late evenings just to avoid the mixing of «adult» conversations with the younger ears.

Great menu, everything is delicious. Special highlight for the burgers and shrimp and fries bucket. Very good beer assortment, specially the IPAs.

It’s your friendly neighborhood bar! Some things… The first door in is light. The second door in is heavy!!! One time I was here on Valentine’s Day and this stranger woman talked to me about how important it is to wash your face every night and how you can put makeup on with a tissue and how you should never put makeup on with the same makeup thing. They have one of those amazing touch tunes jukebox things that connects to the Internet, which connects to the app, which is connected to my smartphone, which is connected to my visa. The bartenders are also the grill cooks. THEBARTENDERSAREALSOTHEGRILLCOOKS. THEBARTENDERSAREALSOTHEGRILLCOOKS. What I said before should raise your eyebrows. How IMPRESSIVE is that!!! I’ve never been a bartender. Except at private events. But I have worked in the food industry for years and I’ve seen how insane the bar gets and every SINGLE bartender I have EVER seen on a crazy night is JUST. MAKING. DRINKS. It is like superhero status that the bartenders actually cook food that is insane that is INSANELYAMAZING!!! What!!! WAAAAT!!! They give you popcorn when you sit at the bar. It’s standard movie theater popcorn. Which is to say it’s good and, well, let’s say horrifying to registered dietitians. I’ve obviously never sat anywhere except at the bar EXCEPT for one time when I sat at a booth in the bar and my boyfriends father ordered the Prime Rib Wellington off their special menu and I was like«if they have a special menu?» and then I LOOKED at the special menu and ITISHUMONGOID. Their regular menu has some good dishes. These are some of the good dishes: 1. Thirsty Mallard. It’s great, get that. Don’t take a bite for three minutes once you are served, it is hot, and you will be sorry. 2. Cajun Chicken Sandwich. It is served on garlic bread and that is all you need to know. 3. Pork Roll Sandwich. It is not called that, I have never eaten one, but I saw one the other day and wanted to fling myself over the bar and land on it face first. 4. I’m torn on nachos supreme. If you like cheese cheese cheese, you will like that that that. 5. My boyfriend claims their Caesar salad is legitimate and I will vouch for him. If it’s not good, it’s mostly his fault but I’m sure it’s going to be more than palatable. Val is my favorite, most gorgeous and happy and silly and wonderful lady bartender. Hi val. The price is right, the food is alright, the vibe is great, the location is perfection, and I will be back for more reasons than the ones I listed above because this is a lot, even for me.

Luv this place — been coming here for years — sit in bar are or at bar — many many beers to choose from, all games on. Have a bowl of popcorn and a beer to start — then get Cajun burger — killer — or Jersey burger — house salad is great with the tiny little shrimp. Anything off the grill in center of bar will not disappoint — tons of specials — just great vibe!

Came here on a Tuesday night with a friend. It was king crab night for 19.99. So fantastic. Crab was delicious. Also, will and jimmy were the bartenders. They’re both great. Will prepared drunken clams for a couple sitting next to us. It’s the regular roasted clams with an incredibly delicious sauce. I tasted one and they were delicious. Great place for fun and good food. Bartenders are always the best.

One of those places that is famous around the Princeton/Brunswick area and people swear by it. It’s not bad… the food is typically fairly good… but its just traditional bar/pub food. I typically always get the burgers since I believe they are really known for them. The taste and flavor is always there. The issue I have with this place is 1. Prices are ok… but everything seems a dollar to high. 2. The lightening and atmosphere is dated and kinda old relative to competition in the area. 3. Service is spotty. Sometimes you get a good waiter and your food comes out fine. Other times the kitchen seems jammed up forever and the server has been out on a smoke break for 30 minutes. Its really really spotty. Try it out, the food isnt bad, and its a laid back place for drinks with friends or co workers

Had excellent lobster roll. Lot of lobster in light toasted roll. Another. Person had grilled trout which they were very pleased with. Another guest had beer battered flounder. This looked lightly battered and less weighty than fish and chips. Atmosphere was wood and stained glass and comfortable, relaxed.

This is our first time here. Came in at 8pm on a Thursday. We ordered the garlic cheese bread to start. It was just ok. The menu has a lot of options. My wife wanted the Filet Mignon. We asked our [miserable] waitress how much it was. She told us it was $ 15.99 but she wasn’t sure. She then came back and said it was $ 20.99. My wife ordered the filet Mignon medium rare and I ordered the shrimp basket. The food came out and her filet was well done and the«vegetables» served with it was something out of a TV dinner. Embarrassing. My shrimp basket was gross. We got the bill and we were charged $ 30.99 for this awful filet. We don’t mind paying good money for quality food. This food was horrible. HORRIBLE. The only way I’ll be back is for beer, hopefully they can’t mess that up. Beyond disappointed.

Great music and solid beer selection! However, I paid almost $ 5 for a Bud Light because the bartenders neglected to share the beer specials with us and they don’t have the specials on a menu anywhere. Didn’t have the food, but a pizza came out to the folks next to me and it looked and smelled awesome! Also, there’s a grill right behind the bar. I like that they cook right in front of you… nice touch.

Not bad. I first came to Tiger’s tale about 9 years ago, shortly after moving to NJ. I decided to try it again after all this time. The place was really packed, even on a Thursday night. I recall waiting a long time to get in on a weekend many years back. The menu had a decent selection of good comfort food, and bar classics. I split a plate of fried calamari with a friend. My cajun chicken alfredo pasta entrée came with a soup. I went with the manhattan clam chowder, which I thought was a winner. The entrée itself wasn’t too bad either. The deduction of stars comes from the very spotty service, as well as the prices. I thought it was slightly on the pricey side. $ 14.99 for a plate of fried calamari that would normally go for about 10 – 11 bucks somewhere else. I will certainly be back, but hopefully I wont be paying that time.

Been coming here on and off for over a decade now and if there’s one word to describe this place, it’s consistency. It’s a go to bar for the locals and a staple of the community. The décor and the menu have remained largely unchained, which is one of things people tend to like about it. As far as bars go, the food is actually pretty good. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are specifically good. You can always look forward to a bowl of fresh made popcorn when you sit at the bar and the service is always friendly. On Friday and Saturday nights(like all bars) it can be especially crowded. In general there isn’t a lot of room to maneuver around, so it’s especially bad on the crowded nights. Almost to the point where you’re better off leaving or going elsewhere. There are however tables in another section of the bar for sit down dinners, which present a lot more space. Good bar, good food but nothing special. A cool place to come if you’re in the area, but better bar selections a short drive away in Princeton.

Been here for lunch a couple of times and it’s an okay spot for lunch — pretty much what you would expect. There’s a pretty extensive menu filled with bar type food. Sandwiches, salads, soups, sliders, burgers, lots if apps, etc. I got a Cesar salad with the Cajun chicken, which was good and well seasoned. However, I asked for dressing on the side and it came dressed — heavily dressed… Others got the lobster roll, Cajun chicken sandwich, and chicken quesadilla. Everyone seemed to like it and they didn’t skimp the lobster roll, which was appreciated! Bar was also pretty crowded for a Tuesday at lunch!

This was my first time here. From the minute I walked in I knew this was no ordinary restaurant and bar. There was a large lunch crowd, and the menu had daily specials. They also serve dinner. You have a choice of sitting at the bar or the high top tables that surround it. If you want something a little more quiet they also have a dining room. My waitress came over immediately. She first took our drink order. They have many beers on tap and interesting micro brews. I tried a peanut butter, chocolate porter named Sweet Baby Jesus! At first I tasted peanut butter. On my second sip I tasted hits of chocolate. Then finally the porter. The Tiger’s Tale has a nice lunch menu. They have an interesting selection of food from Alligator Sausage, German food, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, chicken, salads etc. My favorite was the Grouper Ruben sandwich with fries. When my sandwich came out it was amazing! Fresh plump grouper on a marble rye bread. The grouper sandwich was topped with cole slaw, Russian dressing, and melted Swiss cheese oozing out of the sides. It was the perfect combination .The sandwich was huge! They don’t skimp on any ingredients! I was pleasantly surprised, the grouper melted in my mouth. I’ve eaten this sandwich many times living in Florida. I must say this was the best Grouper Ruben sandwich I have ever eaten. One of my friends ordered the alligator sausage hogie. It was also nicely done and seasoned. This item is unusual for this area. As we all were eating I saw many dishes coming out from the kitchen. The burgers and sandwiches looked great! The salads were huge. The Tiger’s Tale really serves quality food and drinks! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The clientele all looked very happy. They have a private parking lot and easy access. The dress and atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. I can’t wait to return. This is one place I can come to over and over again.
