I’ve enjoyed eating here a couple of times without complaint – perhaps inclined to leave a 4– or maybe 5-star review. The restaurant must have been an old house, now converted into a large, yet cozy, restaurant. The bar is fairly large, but always packed. I’ve only ever eaten on the second floor. Yes, it’s far from cheap, but the quality of food and experience was worth the hefty bill – until my last visit. I ordered a chicken carbonara plate(which is now not offered). I noticed something like a green, plastic, string on my plate. I tried to convince myself it was something edible since I didn’t want to ruin my husband’s birthday dinner experience, but I couldn’t shake the feeling it was something that didn’t belong in my meal. I tried to break the sting… cut it with my nails even to see if I was mistaken. Nope, not mistaken, it wasn’t edible. L Considering the level of dining *I thought* was mandatory in this type of place, I said something to the waiter, thinking he’d be relieved I told him. Boy was I wrong. I kindly told him what was going on and he immediately dismissed me and said that was surely food, but I can get a new plate made if I want. I was hesitant and he said, «well, if you want a new meal, I need that piece you have to show them downstairs.» 1) He should have insisted he gives me something else if I even had the slightest concern and 2) I needed to be responsible for his proof in the kitchen? Umm, okay, here’s your string… Feeling terrible and uncomfortable at this point, I packed my meal with the green plastic string. The waiter ignored us the rest of the night and only came back to collect our $ 120 bill for a party of 2. We dine local, often. We bring large parties and spread the work to family and friends about local restaurant finds. Not for Parc Bistro. I’m interested to see if anyone from Parc will contact me about this situation, due to this review and try to redeem themselves, as nicer restaurants often do. If not, I can assume the management is like minded to the rude waiter.

Part Bistro never lets my family down. Service is top-notch, presentation is on point, and the quality of the food is absolutely outstanding. I have loved every dish I’ve tried here(notable ones include the boeuf bourguignon, tuna tartare, and butternut squash soup). Always a wonderful experience!

Ok so this was our first visit to parc bistro. Bar was super full which to me was a good sign. Then came Kevin. Probably the rudest bar tender I have ever encountered. We ordered our entrees but was unable to finish order cause he actually walked away. 20 mins later wanted some water, yes you actually have to ask for it for both of us. That took us waiving him down. The regulars said we would have to yell his name to get his attention. His overall attitude and demeanor would keep me from ever coming back. On a positive note the food was very very good. Cesar salad a little bland but steak was amazing and shrimp and risotto equally great. If I could stomach kevin I might go back but I just can’t. He was that awful and arrogant. We left went to hotel fiosolel had another drink and dessert and it was great.

The Parc is the best, most consistent restaurant in the Skippack area. Kevin made a killer Woodford reserve Manhattan. Janelle was friendly and very attentive. The margarita pizza was delicious and the pumpkin squash soup was incredible. I’ve never been disappointed at the Parc.

I have been here twice before with clients and received a standard level of service accompanied with pretty good food. I decided to return last night with my girlfriend, we decided to sit at the bar and enjoy a martini before our meal. We were sitting for several minutes before I could get the attention of one of the bartenders to ask for menus. He appeared exhausted and annoyed that I requested two menus. He only gave us one, I could survive with one menu but it was odd. While I looked over the drink selection he made a comment about how long we were taking. The bar was not very busy and it was around 6:00 so I am not sure what the problem was. My girlfriend ordered a drink and as I was ordering he turned his back to me and walked away. Both Martinis were made incorrectly. I could not get his attention to correct this so I finally got the attention of the other bartender to pay my tab and leave. Both my girlfriend and I left with an uneasy feeling. I have to assume I was discriminated as I am younger than the standard crowd. This is the go to spot for dinner when we have clients in town and I will be sure that this changes.

Small plates are excellent food Is all cooked to perfection and everything is high quality. The environment is quiet and quaint and the staff here is top notch. Went here for my birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised to have found such good food so close to home. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is that a my waiter did mess up my drink order. That being said everyone has a bad night and I will definitely be returning.

Always, always, always a FANASTIC meal. Their menu changes often but everything I have tried is AMAZING! They also have the most amazing Caesar salad! The service is fabulous and super friendly.

Amazing food — Never been disappointed. However, waiters are not that great. Although they are very polite, they forgot orders and lacked service… I am willing to look over the service since food is very good with creative menu!

The wait staff at Parc Bistro deserve top scores! The small plates and desserts were all outstanding and perfectly executed. The main course, tagliatelle alla carbonara, was truly a let down. It was uninspired and bland with dry chicken and a non existent sauce. It certainly was not worth the price. I expected more from the Parc Bistro.

Have been here for dinner dates as well as group events, and the food is always spectacular. Would recommend the crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, and crème brûlée, but really everything looks good coming from the kitchen! Nice to sit outside in the summer. Good for brunch on a Sunday, hosting a large party, or a dinner date any night of the week. Always friendly staff and good service in general.

We had such a poor head waiter that he spoiled what could have been a nice lunch. He actually yelled at us when we asked why our meal was so delayed. Other dinners said they felt sorry for us. I asked him not to raise his voice and he got even louder. I expect better for a $ 70. Lunch!!! Will not return ever!

The décor inside of this place is more than amazing, the manager(I think) greeted us at the door and was very nice and friendly. The server we had was a bit cold and at the end she dropped the check off without saying a word(no good night, no «do you need anything else») which I think is a bit rude. But the food was excellent and I would go back again.

Pleasantly Surprised! I really enjoyed Parc Bistro. A little on the pricey side but the service was excellent and the food was perfect. I had the steak, cooked perfectly and my date had the scallops which were so tender. I’d recommend this place, can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful meal here. Everything was delicious… ahi tuna, scallops, waygu tartar. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Skippack! Almost as good as Parc in Rittenhouse.

Excellent. We grazed and it’s was superbly done. Octopus salad — unique and flavorful, note anchovies and capers. Ahi tuna tartar — superbly well made, fresh and excellent presentation Onion soup w/turkey stock and pumpernickel bread — unique. Oyster stew — very good, lots of flavor, plump oysters — definitely a dipper Foie gras with duck bacon, micro greens and tomato jam — star of the show. Genius to create a foie gras BLT. Foie gras could have been better trimmed, but still outstanding. Bouillabaisse — a classic presentation of a classic dish. Would order again Ty nant sparkling water Fresh bread with olive oil and marinara dipping sauces Banana Bread Pudding w/banana cream, candied pecans and butterscotch bourbon sauce. — lasted about 30 seconds, fabulous.

We’ve been here many times before. I even pointed out to the young waitress that we were here the first month it opened, since there were very few decent restaurants in the area in the 1990s. We even had our Company Christmas party here with over 20 guests. But I guess through the years we forgot we pretty much settled on only the pizza. When my sister-in-law suggested to us we go back after her having the trout, we were excited. Trout was not to my liking at all. The only thing good was the grits and spinach. The sauce was awful. Sweet. Yucky. It was not what the wright up said. The fish was unappetizing. Presentation poor. With two giant pieces of grey trout piled onto the grits in a «diner» type meal. What the pecans were doing I don’t know. The chefs taste buds are not on spot here. So my wife had the scallops and I could not down the super sweet weird flavor that the poorly made scallops were floating in. We guess the scallops come in some portion control and frozen, they were not dry when made. Our guests loved the veal chop. The stuffing soufflé was really great. The special desert was red velvet cake. Whoever made this needs to be reintroduced to Betty Crocker. It was unsuitable. Awful. Hard nasty. Tasteless. Bad bad recipe. I would easily say 50% of the meal should’ve been turned back. It will be a long time till I’m back. And I tend to give four stars and five stars to each review. It is seldom I criticize. Opposite to theses poorly developed dishes that would be chopped on the first show if the chef even would compete, the appetizers were good. But again, my company complained that the oysters are bathed in some kind of weird sauce that shouldn’t have been. We all wondered out loud why it only had 36 reviews, and the latest photo was 10 months ago. Turn up the light,(maybe you can’t see the food for a reason) look at the food, see if it’s presentable, does it past the straight taste test. Won’t be back. Sorry.

Never having been to Skippack I was really impressed with the little main street here. Definitely cute, lots of little shops ranging from antique stores to tattoo parlors to spa places and a bunch of nice little restaurants. Parc Bistro was our choice coming in, so stopped by for lunch. Not crowded and sat in the bar area downstairs. Super, super nice bar. If I were 30 years older I’d definitely hang here. Great draft beer choices. Service was exceptional. Better than the vast majority of places in the city. Food was solid. Nothing spectacular, but my grouper sandwich was nice as was the chicken club I tried. The rest of the menu offered a wide range of choices as well, so if you’re around stop in, can’t see anyone leaving disappointed.
