I was having difficulties finding tall boots that gave my toes enough room. I even spent hours in a DSW trying on boots, as well as going to many other shoe stores, only to find that many boots were narrow and uncomfortable, and or made out of cheap materials. I decided to try Clark’s. They are a bit out of my price range, but I knew they carry wider boots. There were only three pairs that were priced on sale from $ 100 to $ 130. One style fit. Thank goodness they were attractive boots with some stretch to the calf, seemed sturdy, had a lower heel, are made of leather, and had cushioned insoles. Customer service was decent too. I ended up paying $ 141 after tax, which is more than I wanted to spend, but the sales girl told me many of their boots sell for $ 300 and up. I went to other stores in the same mall the Clark’s is in too, and many boots I looked at were in the $ 300 and up and up range, so if you are broke like me this isn’t the best mall to shop at. I am glad I got my Clark’s. They are comfortable and I wanted to buy a boot made of quality leather.

Store closed for remodeling as of this date(3÷15÷14). The sign didn’t say when they would reopen…

I have wide, flat, long feet, and it is difficult to find shoes that they can be happy in. Enter Clarks. Yay for me! On my first visit to this particular location, I was wowed by Andrea. She trotted out option after option for my perusal. Meanwhile, she buffed, polished, and deodorized the old, worn Merrells that I wore in! Is that outstanding customer service, or what? So, yes indeed, I’m a fan!

A little too much sales pressure and not enough product knowledge… but Clarks shoes are really great and they had nice prices on some sale items.

I bought a pair of waterproof Clarks chukka from this store in January. I liked the shoes and was constantly wearing it. Last thursday, I found out the zipper on the left shoe was broken. Frustrated at the quality, I decided to go to the store and ask if there is any warranty to repair it. Much to my surprise, the sales guy didn’t ask me for any proof of purchase. He brought out a pair of new chukkas for me to try on, which I did and they fit perfectly. the gusy then said, «sorry about the broken zipper, you’re all set to go !» And just like that, I got a brand new pair of shoes! The customer service and quality guarantee of the Clarks is top notch. I was very impressed, and wife couldn’t believe it. She said for once I got a smart deal when shopping. hey, I give all the credit to the professional staff and you can be sure I will purchase more shoes from there in the future.

Clarks is a very very good(good defined as: sturdy and very comfortable) brand of shoes. SO I was shocked to have the cap of my heel post pop off. Considering I still have a pair of Clark shoes from 2 years ago, of a different color, that I still adore and use the heck out of that are sturdier then any other brand of shoe I own, this was unusual for this brand of shoe. I bought my, now gimped, pair of black heels in St. Louis, where I am from. I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I went in here I had to mention my surprise that the back, bottom heel cap fell off. They took it back without a blink. No receipt, knowing I bought it from St. Louis, MO, and off my feet into their hands. They hand me a brand new pair of the same and I walk out happy and a devoted customer. What a great brand and what great customer service.

I love Clarks shoes and usually the people here are helpful, but last week when I went in they acted like they were annoyed I existed. They didn’t help me find a good fit or make any suggestions when they didn’t have the shoe I wanted in my size. I will just order the shoes online next time.

I visited Clarks at Old Orchard during the crazy holiday rush in search of what a boy wants: winter boots that aren’t so booty. Faced with previous shortages and sell-outs and really not much of a men’s boot selection anywhere else, I came in hoping to find something suitable(and not too bootable, as the man is insistent on not wearing a boot up to his knee). It wasn’t too busy during the holiday madness, and the salesman who helped me wasn’t particularly pushy(you know how those crazy shoe salesmen can be!) There wasn’t a huge array of men’s boots, but I found one pair that seemed just what I wanted(and what the boy would want) and it so happened they had one pair left, and it was his size! So of course I took them, and had to take a gander at the women’s selection. Besides having a good selection of comfortable, dressy, and business casual shoes, they had these great leather with shear lining black boots – just what was missing from my winter wardrobe. The lovely salesman took 20% off for me just because! I’ve bought shoes here before(serious walking shoes for my trip to Europe, which fared well there) and I’m definitely impressed with the selection and the comfort they provide. Ok, so they aren’t the hippest shoe store on the block. But they are dependable and comfortable, and that’s what this girl wants.
