This ice cream is so worth it… who cares if it takes a little longer to get the line going? The Sweet & Salty Pretzel is a new flavor and it’s just incredible. I wish I lived in Skowhegan… Gifford’s Ice Cream is truly the best, IMHO that is.

Awesome, awesome place. The place can be a little slow when they get busy, but it’s worth waiting for. The Maine Blueberry Ice Cream is «THE YUM!» Fantastic place to eat ice cream. MMMmmmmmm!

i for one cant wait for giffords to open for the season! it always signals ‘summer’s coming’!they have an awesome selection, and the portions are huge and ridiculous… i get the soft serve in north anson next to pinkhams (they serve giffords in a little outpost) but the skowhegan location stopped doing soft. oh well, they still have yummy ice cream!

We kept seeing signs for Gifford’s Ice Cream so I was interested in trying it when we finally came to this ice cream stand. The stand was a little busy and it took a while for the line to move. The service was nice enough though and we got our 3 scoop ice cream cone for about $ 6. The ice cream was good and the portions were average but we had to eat it pretty quick since it started to melt right away.
