Great food, uniquely prepared. Excellent service. Saturday night at 9 we were able to get a table for two. It was a bit loud, but that suited the place, and our mood.

This was our first dinner since the new owner took over and we were blown away by the quality of the food as well as the service. All dishes, wine, beer, bread and dessert were just outstanding and the service was impeccable. It was a marvelous, enjoyable experience. I very highly recommend it.

We love the atmosphere and the food is generally good. We recently went after not having gone for a few months ordering a few dishes we had enjoyed in the past. It was just not the same the cheese and meat board was once worth the price tag. Last night it was nothing worth mentioning. The difference in food quality and presentation was such a step down I asked the bartender if the head chef had left. He told us the place had a new chef, new owner, new team but was working with the same name? We think they took a step down. Sound off. Let’s let um know they should think about stepping it back up.

I really wanted to like this warm and friendly Italian Restaurant in Sleepy Hollow. Loved the mural. The atmosphere was great and the server was excellent. Here are some of the adjustments they need to make when you pay $ 200 for two people. The baked clams were just ok — they needed more seasoning. The stuffed dates with proussito ham and Gorgonzola cheese were great, but they were barely warm. The specials were overpriced, but we should have asked the prices first. The black linguini with shrimp and cherry tomatoes was good, but lacked seasoning and herbs at $ 30. The veal chop was grilled and a good quality, but also lacked a liitle Rosemary or Thyme or perhaps a Demi glaze. At $ 45 it was overpriced. The martinis at $ 12 are very good and the draft beer excellent. The Sangiovse at $ 11 a glass was excellent and was a nice pour.

My first time visiting this restaurant that my family is constantly bragging about. To describe to you briefly my evening… Once you walk in the décor is breathtaking, warm and romantic. From the super polished glasses and the beautiful art on the walls Finalmente is certainly a place you will enjoy. I ordered red wine nothing specific I asked them to surprise me(which was amazing) and the wait staff was so helpful and went above and beyond. I also ordered a homemade fettuccine dish with filet mignon that would knock your socks off! This place is truly a hidden gem and a must try. You will not be disappointed! Chef Genco, a million hats off to you thank you! :)

Dinner was amazing. Baked clams appetizers were delicious. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection over spinach. The owner is delightful and engaging. The service was great. If you are looking for a great place for dinner, look no further. I am definitely going back to try the rest of the dishes. Their chef is great.

Average Italian at best. Nice warm and cozy atmosphere cannot make up for the mushy grilled octopus. Very fishy baked clams or the short ribs pizziola which was nothing more than short ribs over mashed potatoes. Not a place I would recommend or return.

A true experience of service and flavor. The gnocchi was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth hands down and the dates were a must have. Staff was very friendly and the wine selection was incredible. The ambiance was pleasant and authentic. I can’t stress enough what a great restaurant this was!!!

I have dined here twice in the last 3 weeks. The first was an early dinner for 2, the second was last night where I had a 38 person dinner for my company. In both cases, the food was superb, and the service was stellar. For two people, that is a snap. For almost 40, that is a feat. For the larger dinner, about 8 people arrived over our planned number, throwing the staff’s logistics off on a busy holiday season evening — they handled it with poise, agility and cheerfulness. I was impressed. Everything went flawlessly, and I was especially thrilled with Sandra’s care and concern for our dining experience. After 3 hours of what must have been a grueling ordeal of herding cats for the staff, my guests left happy, raving about the food, adoring their servers, and making me look quasi smart for choosing the venue. My understanding is that the establishment is under relatively new management. For those that grouse about the noise, yeah, take your own advice and go to Manhattan — REAL quiet there, Einstein. I am a not a weekend amateur hour diner. I entertain guests frequently as part of my work. 99% of even the best restaurants would not have been able to handle last night’s curveballs with the aplomb I saw. This place is the goods.

Do yourself a favor and travel to NYC for authentic Italian food. this place is over priced and the food is just OK. Rude management too. Try the Parlor in Dobbs Ferry or Linizio in Ardsley.

Great food, great wine, awesome owners. We stumbled upon this place when we were in the area for the horseman Halloween activities. The curb appeal pulled us in; very warm and inviting.

Liked this restaurant a lot. Was cozy The wait staff professional. The owner nice enough. His parent more delightful(were very friendly sitting at the bar). All in all I would like to go again this fall. Pasta was done right. Excited to go back.

Yesterday, I had lunch in this delightful little gem, together with eight other women. The staff couldn’t have been more courteous or helpful. The food was delicious! They started us off with a basket of interesting bread, together with an olive tapenade. I, together with two others, ordered the Bucatini Carbonara. I love Carbonara, and have had it many times in the past, but this was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. We all ordered the smaller portion for $ 12, and wished we had ordered the larger one($ 19). The other women all enjoyed what they ordered. I had never been to Finalmente before, but expect to return for dinner, as well as lunch. The restaurant is small, but the tables are set apart from each other, and we felt that we had a «private party.»

Great food, good price! They know how to pour a good drink especially the martinis and my fav there is an old fashioned. The specials are great. My favorite on the menu: octopus salad, lamb and double cut pork chop. Special place

The best/worst thing is allowing people to voice their opinion. The worst is the dumbasses who have rate this place less than 5 stars. They have obviously been neglected daily and live through social media. They live and die by likes and comments. They are usually entitled pieces of crap who don’t know the finer things in life. This place is incredible. The food is made downstairs and every item is delicious. We are lucky to have a place like this close by with a wonderful owner and staff. If you don’t like the food go to Fridays. They will appreciate your kind and here is a tip, your family probably hates you.

It certainly helps to come here with a healthy dose of skepticism, because 4.5 stars it ain’t. That said, less than a handful of restaurants in all of Westchester are worthy of that kind of praise. That said, Finalmente gave a solid showing. The dining room is cozy and tastefully done. And the menu is loaded with some very unique preparations. For apps I had the suckling pig stuffed mushrooms with black truffles and chickpeas, which was a solid yum. The other app we had was a pseudo salad served with giant balls of breadcrumb dusted cheese and a chianti jelly, which I also quite liked. Next came the pastas. Both were perfectly al dente. I had the wild boar ragu and wifey had the straw pasta with peas, pancetta, and… I forget. Both were good, but I think mine was a tad more interesting. And for dessert, we did the olé standby, gelato. The chocolate is AMAZING! Not sure if they make it or just buy it, but WOW! Unfortunately, the chocolate gelato was the only«wow» thing of the meal. But everything else was a very respectable«good,» and nothing was bad. Service, however, was a tad off. Pleasant for sure, but pulled a few cardinal sins. The biggest one being that he came and took the bill while we were still seated at the table. A huge no, no if you are trying to play in the leagues of 4 and 5 stars. The other nit would be no bread/olive oil. Pretty rare at an Italian joint to leave you without a single nosh until your apps arrive. Heck, even the Olive Garden gives you salad & bread sticks. So, as I said, 4.5 stars is a stretch, but for 3 it’s pretty perfecto!

We just came from there and had a great meal. Not just great for Westchester, but great. The service we had tonight was nearly flawless but more importantly, it was genuine. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted and cared for. I didn’t get our waiter’s name but he was wonderful. His timing was right on and his demeanor was ingratiating. He made the whole experience four times better. The other waitstaff were also very conscientious and attentive. The food was quite good with generous portions. My taballo(highly recommend) and my husband’s roast pork shank were too much for us to finish. The tiramisu was very good. Wasn’t crazy about the calamari but my stuffed zucchini was very good. I will definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone in Westchester looking for a nice Italian restaurant.

If a high decibel experience is what you’re after, be sure to stop in here. When we arrived on a Thursday night only two tables were occupied but shortly a few more people arrived and the noise level shot up to deafening. Luckily my husband and I were sitting at a table for four so he could move over to sit next to me. Good thing or conversation would have been impossible. I ordered palia e fieno pasta which was very nice. My husband ordered fried calamari. Not so good. The batter was under salted and so greasy. My glass of Chianti was excellent and great value. So I would rate the food as mixed. Finally, the service was a bit creepy. The waiter hovered, asking how we were doing incessantly without giving us time to make a decision. And the menu is filled with dire warnings about extra charges for shared plates, corkage, etc. It may not sound like it, but I really wanted to like this restaurant. Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow really needs a high quality neighborhood Italian restaurant, but it looks like we are still waiting.

Beautiful room, nice people. But I’ve eaten here three times and never had a great dish – and my girlfriend’s appetizer was obviously re-heated, but not enough. I grade to a large extent on value, and for the price, the food here should be uniformly excellent.

I first ate here about 9 months ago on a business trip and they really surprised me. My wife and her family grew up here and this location was a local bar back in those days. I was stunned to see how they turned the place into a little piece of authentic Italy! I was lucky enough to eat at the bar and be served by the owner. He took time to explain the menu; offer great ideas and details. He has reasons to be proud of what they created. Every detail from the bread, to the soups and salads were stunning. They have great wine list and he really impressed me when he altered the pork chop special to serve it the way I wanted it rather than the featured style. I asked for it to be pounded thin, on the bone, fried and served Milanese style with arugula, tomatoes and shaved parm. They whipped it up and it was perfect… in fact he liked the dish so much he made it for himself! I wonder if it went onto the menu. When I’m back in Sleepy Hollow(North Tarrytown for me) I’ll be heading there ASAP.
