Hearty portions of delicious food and the kind of attentive service I’d expect in a classy(and expensive) restaurant. On our way home to PA after long day of driving and decided to stay overnight in Tarrytown rather than battle Tappan Zee Bridge traffic. Capri made the stay worth while. If we ever pass through this way again, we’ll be back.

Disappointed. Please use ciabatta bread for your paninis… I don’t enjoy crunchy grilled Italian bread for my sandwich especially when I wanted… a panini lol I also wish they would step up the quality on their tomatoes. They also don’t seem ripe enough for consumption -.-

What a Godsend after a horrific weekend to exit the roads in a monsoon and dine lavishly at our favorite Italian joint. It doesn’t get much better than Capri

This is a pretty good-not-amazing typical Westchester pizza place, safe bet. Convenient location off highway. The Sicilian is better than most places. The«New Yorky» review from a NYC resident was amusing but I doubt that person has been to many pizzerias in Westchester, because they’re pretty much all exactly like this. We order quickly in the NY burbs too — when it comes to pizza the line must move!

I’ve been here twice so far and everything I’ve gotten have been of good quality(plain slice, pepperoni slice, chicken bacon ranch slice) I was a bit sad that my chicken, bacon ranch pizza was on the smaller side compared to the other slices, but it’s delicious, nonetheless. I did get an extra ranch sauce to add on top of the pizza.

MYGOSH, THECOOKIESHERE… I know this isn’t a cookie shop and I can’t even comment on the pizza as I’ve never had them, but their Black and White Cookies(basically chocolate and white choco chip cookies) are AMAZING and such gigantic portions and reminiscent of THE Levain Bakery in NYC. SO. GOOD. We also ordered baked ziti here TO-GO and it so generously came with a side of salad. Thumbs up.

I’m from Buffalo so of course I’m biased about Pizza and wings, but this place was pretty good for out of town pizza and wings! Our group ordered 3 pizzas and 50 wings for delivery when it was too cold to leave our hotel. We used the online ordering system which was quick and easy. We put the address as the Marriott Westchester and our room number and the delivery girl came straight to our room, sooner than the estimated time too! Thankfully they brought plates, napkins, and plasticware which we forgot to ask for but really grateful they knew. :) All the food was still very hot when it arrived. Overall notes on pizza: great dough and crust, generous cheese and toppings, lots of specialty pizzas to choose from Overall notes on wings: BIG, cooked to perfection(slightly crispy, great texture). Better sauces or seasonings would bump these up to perfection. What we ordered: –White pizza: Wasn’t the white pizza we’re used to. Instead was a ricotta pizza that was very moist without seasonings, garlic, or tomato like the typical white pizza. I liked it but my friends who love white pizza were very disappointed. –Meat lovers pizza: Perfect –Tapanzee pizza: Wasn’t what I expected but to be fair, none of us had a clue what would be on it. It was chicken and spinach. Not bad but probably wouldn’t order again. –Terryaki wings: Good sauce –BBQ wings: Would invest in a better sauce, tasted like Kraft. :( –Buffalo wings: Would be better if they were saucier

There are few times in life when a meal is so expertly crafted and planned that it is nothing short of pure genius. Tonight, I had that meal. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, and the chicken, ranch, bacon wrap. Ordering the meal was a delight, as the waiter was extremely personable and enthusiastic. As my meal was set down in front of me, the scent of buffalo chicken stimulated my nostrils. The wrap itself was a thing of beauty– I felt myself blushing just looking at the gorgeous assemblage of food before me. This was clearly not the kind of meal that one just eats haphazardly without giving it much thought. Instead, I spent a few minutes developing a plan as to how to approach the consumption of the beautiful wraps. I decided to start by eating half of the buffalo chicken wrap, then alternating between halves of the two sandwiches. As I took my first bite, I shed a single tear of happiness. I had good feelings in places I didn’t even know I had. I told my fellow diners that this was the best meal I had eaten in 2 months, and they laughed and ridiculed me, but never will they understand the feeling of pure ecstasy that surged through my veins as I powered through the two sandwiches. As I ate my last bite, I grinned with great pleasure as I caressed my full belly. It was with great disappointment that I learned the chef responsible for my experience was not available for a hug and kiss. I had to settle for leaving a hefty tip and thanking all of the staff I could find. This dining experience was a lifechanging experience that raised the bar in terms of expectations for dinners. Given the option, I would have spent the night in the Italian establishment. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an eye opening experience at an affordable price.

This place has really given up. Their pizza is good but the sandwiches and entrees are often burnt and dried up and very overpriced. Plus, the place is always filthy. The last 2 times that I ate in the dining room there was food on the floor and the table was sticky. The pizza table area is even more disqusting and I’m amazed how many will sit there and eat. I wonder what the kitchen and bathrooms look like. It’s too bad because I used to love this place.

This place has gone downhill, maybe it’s under new management? Whatever it is, it’s not good at all anymore. My company used to order from them 3x a week. But after my last 3 bad experiences we will no longer be ordering from here. The 1st time I ordered 6 hamburgers since I did nothing but rave about how good they are or at least we’re. All 6 of them were overcooked I understand a little over the temp but a medium-rare is not a well don’t charcoal. The next error happened when we ordered pastas for our pasta Friday meetings and they forgot items and don’t listen to any of our comments on their online ordering. My last visit here was yesterday when I ordered a salmon for a early dinner. The salmon was extremely oily they basically gave me salmon and a quart of their olive oil. The spinach that accompanies the salmon was so drenched in oil it was disgusting. I took it back to get a refund which I never do but basically I was fed up with this place the manager gave me my refund but only refunded me the $ 20 not my tax I paid for this or my extra $ 2 I was charged online since prices vary for online $ 21.95. Not to my mention the car wash I needed to get since the oil leaked over the bag and on top my sons baby seat. I wasn’t looking for a free meal but he made no care in the world to have a returning customer. He clearly saw the mistake his kitchen did and didn’t offer to make the situation right. See picture. He basically lost a dedicated group of people that would frequent his location.

I make it a point to stop here for a slice of Sicilian every time I drive back to NYC from upstate(which is often) Driving there and back from the Tarrytown Thruway exit takes a total of 5 minutes, and the Sicilian pizza is PERFECT. …The Crust/sauce/cheese ratio is also PERFECT: the tangy sauce and cheese are delicious and the crust is divine …Since I’m obsessing about it, I’ll add that I ask for a «corner slice, very hot.» Not sure if the«very hot» instruction is necessary at Capri, but I’ve noticed that many places tend to underheat Sicilian slices if you don’t specify that you want it very hot.

The pizza here is absolutely ridiculously delicious. The sauce tangy, spicy, and flavorful, the crust crunchy and slightly charred. The Sicilian is as delicious as it looks, and that’s saying something.

This review is for their pizza. one of the best pizza in Westchester area. Ordered margherita with pepperoni and sausage and extra cheese. It was delivered super hot and I love the sauce with nice garlic flavor. Will definitely have it as my regular pizza place.

We order from Capri at least twice a week, and the food is tasty and is always delivered hot. The margarita pizza is phenomenal, and I love the fried zucchini sticks. However, without fail, there is usually always something wrong about the order. Today, we ordered two Greek salads, but were delieved two garden salads. Last week, I ordered salads with grilled chicken, but the chicken was never added. I thought I was ordering wrong, but the correct order is attached to the receipt; it is just not being prepared correctly.

I’ve been here a few times. Mostly for take out. pros: they are pretty quick even when busy Entrees and salads are good. Decent portions Cons: Pizza crust is dryer than a croûton Bottom line is I’ll go there. But the pizza doesn’t knock my socks off.

I used to come here all the time when I worked in Tarrytown. This is definitely one of the best places in the area for a true New York style pizza. I typically get buffalo chicken, sausage, or regular slices. I also recommend their garlic knots, chicken rolls, and pasta dishes. It gets a bit crowded for lunch but the line goes by quick as there are plenty of servers. Also there are two seated sections. There is one section up front which is self serve and another section in the back where you can get full service dinning.
