This place is SO inconsistent with their prices AND the quality of their sandwiches depending upon who helps you… Just ordered honey turkey and Swiss with lettuce/tomato and avocado on a roll and it cost me $ 8.10… At the deli close to my home in Ossining I could have gotten a wedge for that price… I made a comment to the woman at the register that the price seemed a little high for a turkey sandwich even WITH the avocado and she said it was extra for the honey turkey… Got back to my office and there was no cheese on my sandwich and BARELY any turkey, especially for the price I paid… I called the deli to complain and she told me to bring the sandwich back so she can see that there was no cheese on it and she would refund me 50 cents… UNBELIEVABLE!!! I will NEVER get food from this deli again…

Unless you are a regular and can make nice with someone this is the pace that will let you stand there for 3 Minutes and not make eye contact with you when there is no one in the store. When you finally get your hero. This is the pace that will fill your hero with lettuce and cheese and tomato then the little bit of space left is where your meet goes. Open the sandwich and your eating mostly bread and toppings and the the meat is the topping. Sometimes a good hero, most of the time, Where is the meat. I boycott this place for a year at a time. Today I start another year for the next time I forget to bring my lunch. BTW, tell the lady behind the counter she looks great and you get a reaction. Stand there like you need something, dead air.

It’s been around forever & I’ve been here over 30+ years. Great selection of sandwiches(hot/cold), salads & hot foods. Breakfast & lunch only + catering. They did picnic lunches/baskets way back, not sure they do that any more but hey you could just order some salads(health, German potato, red potato, German cucumber), sandwich or wrap & make your own basket. Be prepared to wait on line during peak breakfast & lunch periods. You can place phone orders.

Ok so I really hate to do this but their sandwiches and prices are very very inconsistent! I actually went back to the store to have them fix it. And when i called to speak with the manager, they said she wasn’t there! I just left the deli and knew she was there. She rung me up! I always get the same thing… the only person that can make a good sandwich there is the Caucasian gentleman who wears a baseball cap and T-shirt. He actually puts meat in the sandwich. And at $ 9 a pop there should be! Everyone makes their sandwiches differently, including the owner. Which makes me crazy till no end. Just make it good the same way every time and charge me the same please! I even took a picture of my $ 9 sandwich. I could have gone to subway if I just wanted tomatoes and lettuce on my huge loaf of bread!

Nice deli with a long counter on one side and a long drink cooler on the other. The Italian combo hero was delicious. I haven’t had a really good Italian sub since I moved to NY10 years ago. This may be my new sandwich spot. It’s a Boars Head meat place, so the quality is pretty good. They also have salads and desserts. The rice pudding was great. Really good spot in a mini mall type setting.
