Maid Xpress

I received a Living Social deal for this service. I called last week to make an appointment (we have guests coming tomorrow, so we wanted the house to be super clean). They never showed up today, and when I called, the number had been disconnected. Now I get to spend the entire night mopping…

Do not use them. Got a living social, had all the email problems everyone else had, 3 weeks no answer, they came, did a OK job the first time. They said they can do my house for 40 a week which is cool, I figure they Come back next week and make it all better. They come the next week, had a different crew, they did a worse job than the first time, but I figure it’s $ 40, whatever, so I give them 1 final chance, which was there last time, they come with 3 people this time. I don’t think 1 thing was cleaned. I said clean my room first, which they did, but it was a terrible job, i think they turned the vacuum on to make a noise and they put dirty mop water on my floor. I give them the benefit of the doubt to clean the rest of the house and come back and maybe check there work. Nope. As my girl friend and I were waiting for them to tell me they were finished, I realize I don’t here the vacuum anymore, go to see if they are mopping the floors, nope, they left. Didn’t say bye, no nothing. SO, in conclusion, this company is a straight scam. I personally feel they are being sent out to scope people to steal from. I mean, what other reason could it be. No one In there right mind would say my house was cleaned, especially a cleaning service.

I got this Living Social Deal so I thought I would give Maid Xpress a try. I made an appointment online, which apparently the soonest available date was two months later. Twice during those two months I get an e-​mail saying that their system has been hacked and to confim my appointment. I did confirm, and I did it again when I got the same e-​mail two weeks later. The day before my appointment, I tryed to call several times to comfirm, but no one answered the phone and no one returned my calls. I finally got an e-​mail saying they needed to reschedule, with no reason. My second appointment comes up, again I try to call to confirm, but the message mailbox is full. I sent an e-​mail and I did get a reply. On the day of the appointment, I get an e-​mail saying no one is comming due to inclement weather. I don’t know how they get anything done if they don’t work due to a little rain. It’s not raining here the weather is fine. I don’t know how they stay in business. I have contacted Living Social to get my money back.

I received a groupon for 3 hours of house cleaning and maybe it was because I had the coupon that i didn’t receive their best service. I clean my house better on a daily basis. When I walked in, the house smelled great! Other than that nothing too impressive. There was one of those crazy daddy long leg mosquitos on my kitchen counter top that morning and was still there when I got home. Does that mean she wiped around it or didn’t wipe the counters at all? Mainly there was just a lot of obvious things that needed to be cleaned but weren’t. I give it 3 stars because at least I didn’t have to do my floors or wipe down my furniture that week and because the house was still cleaner than i left it. Also, it was a gift so it wasn’t my own $ 55. I am still looking for a cleaning service but I will probably just go a different route.
