The food was good, bow tie pasta app, Grilled Tuna salad. Nice size portions. Outdated décor, the server behind us seemed great, ours was not, slow, unattentive, not worth the prices, wouldn’t try again. 3 stars for food, with the hopes you get the good(young blonde) server.

I love this place! Their crab dip with bow tie pasta is the most amazing crab dip I have ever tried!!! Fried shrimp and catfish are also very good.

Darned tasty. Husband’s poboy was delicious. Shrimp and grits was very good, if a bit oniony for me. Children had grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken strips.

This is one of the few places open on Sunday Salads are awful but everyone comes for the shrimp special or the oysters. Service is really good. This is a beer joint with good food. Since I don’t drink, the waitresses deserve the compliment for friendliness and efficiency when they. Most of their money from the drinkers, but still provide me with good service.

Our food and service was great! Royal reds for an appetizer and shrimp and grits for my entrée. Great flavor on all the food! Wasn’t busy at the time of day we went. Our waitress was fabulous and had great recommendations! Prices weren’t bad either.

I eat here pretty often because it’s close to my home. I love certain dishes a lot such as their royal red shrimp, fish taco, raw oysters when in season or even the shrimp plate. Some dishes are just not good like anything that has pasta sauce on it. The worse sauce I’ve ever tasted. I did try the crab claws tonight with a cream sauce which was good. My point is this place is good for certain things but he atmosphere is great and so is the locale for me. I would not drive too far out of my way to come here. Of course im a picky eater and am not much into fried foods, which by the way their fried is very good. They need to learn a thing or two about wines. Then teach the servers. I’ll go back.

Wife and I have been going 4 times a year for many years. Everything I have ever had was excellent. The ladies are always smiling and moving. Great hustle in this place. I’m a little picky about cleanliness in restaurants and this place is always spot on. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Had great service even during crowded times. This is one of only 2 places I go regularly where I have yet to have a negative experience.

Let me tell you! If you’re looking for some consistently fresh and delicious seafood… This is the place to go! I have been several times and they have never done me wrong. I have tried many dishes and have been pleased each time. You can’t go wrong with Phil’s!

Truly enjoyed this place, great atmosphere being right on the water. Beer was so cold ice was floating in it. Really enjoyed the food here, I had the salmon, with Mac and cheese as a side. My coworker had the soft shell crab. Both were very good!

Great local hidden gem with a great view of the marina. Excellent service and seafood. Boiled shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the soft shell crab po boy was amazing.

Great location! Food was pretty decent. Husband got the Mahi Mahi fish tacos blackened and those puppies were dang delicious! I had the philly, not too shabby. Roommate had the shrimp and grits. Not a fan of grits but he said they were delicious. Beers were cheap and very frothy double bonus on these hot Louisiana summer days! We sat in the outdoor patio that was air conditioned, woohoo! However thou it smelt like plastic due to the plastic table covers and plastic curtains. I think they would benefit from opening up the patio!

My family and I sail here from time to time to have dinner. We absolutely love this place but, consistency is key for me… And that just isn’t the case here. I ordered the same exact meal a week apart and the crab sauce they put on top of the tuna Zachary was totally different and not nearly as good as the first time. Also, if you order the Ruby Reds shrimp(I think is what they are called)…Be warned they DONOT replace the«dead» ones nor do they mind giving you half a shrimp.

So we are here on a Sunday and it’s open seating with a beautiful view. We have started with the royal reds and they are pretty good. The side salad is simply lettuce but the dressings they offer are homemade. i got the red snapper something and it’s good. Honestly this place is good but it’s really good for a Sunday night when other places are closed.

I’m a little mixed on my feelings with this place… Service was great, and the location was awesome… we ate on the patio overlooking the dock. It was truly a pretty spot. Where it was lacking could have been my fault though– We were leaving New Orleans and wanted something besides fast food to get us through the long drive home when we found this place. With no Unilocaling research we went in blind and probably didn’t order the good stuff.(Now I want to try the fried bow tie pasta w/the crab dip, but alas…) I ordered a lb. of peel and eat Royal Red shrimp(We don’t get this amazingly delicious shrimp in Tennessee, so anytime I find them, I order them) … Not very impressed. They weren’t deveined, and they just tasted like muddy water to me :( Huge disappointment. ((Note to the cook– These are so easily split down the back to get the«vein» out, and then cooked in a little butter and garlic, these could have been absolutely amaze balls.)) My BF ordered the shrimp po boy and said it was actually pretty good… We took the other half with us for the drive home, and even 5 hours later after sitting in the car, it was still pretty good. All in all, I would go back, if i was ever actaully in Slidell, LA again,… but I would order something they are more known for…

We split the fried seafood platter, and everything on the plate was delicious! Our server Elizabeth was nice and friendly and had the menu and beverages offered memorized. She could answer anything. We each had deserts, the crème brûlée with house made whipped cream and the Reese’s pie were very good. The location was a little tricky to find and the entrance wasn’t obvious. The restaurant is on the first floor of the yacht club which is upstairs. It’s casual and you can sit outside kind of on a closed patio. I would definitely go back for their seafood.

Took a group of 10 here for a Christmas dinner. The service was OUTSTANDING. It’s not easy taking care of a table of that size and our server exceeded any reasonable expectation. I had a steak and macaroni and cheese. I was not overwhelmed with it, but it was very good. The rest of my party had a variety of menu items and they all looked very good. No one complained and most had enough food to ask for a to-go plate. I had eaten hear quite a long time ago and it wasn’t that good. I was reluctant to go back but I am glad I did.
