Ruby Tuesday

I got the ribs that were advertised and they were very dry and the only flavor was from the dry rub or sauce. My wife got the steak and all you could taste is the butter. The salad bar was nice but from what we saw anything that required cooking was off. Not as good as other Ruby’s. And it is higher than others.

Ruby Tuesday’s is one of my favorite restaurants, but this particular restaurant was so bad, I ended up leaving. Do not waste your time or money.

Came in and we were seated right away. We waited quite a while for someone to come by and take our drink order. After getting up and asking who was our waiter or waitress they finally sent someone to our table. We ordered 2 waters with a side of lemon and a lemonade. It seemed like it took forever for that to come out. Now having to wait for this I’m starting to get aggravated. When it comes I take a sip and then notice something on the brim of the mug. I thought it may have been from the lemon but it wasn’t (it was like, baked on lol) and now I’m just ready to go. Lo and behold a manager passes and ask if I’m ok. I explain everything to him and he apologized profusely. He begged us to stay and assured us it was not the norm. He had wonderful customer service and made me feel as if my concerns and issues were important and valued. He expedited our food order and grabbed bottled waters and, just for good measure, covered our entire meal. He was awesome. Thanks Tim

i sat for a hour waiting for a medium well burger to go. when I got home the burger was extremely rare. in a hour all they managed to do is walk it through a hot kitchen. will not return and wouldn’t suggest any one else to.

It might be a chain, yes. However, there is always a promotional coupon, and I love the salad bar. This particialur location is the best I have ever patroned.

Wow I wuz very pleased& impressed with our dinner at Ruby Tuesday. ive never been here before tonight but I’m in love!!! the salad bar wuz more than one can handle!!! i ordered the baby back ribs, I have to say sum of the best I’ve had!! i left this evening not only stuffed & very pleased by the service& would recommend this to friends & family!!! my new fav place!!! The Tilapia for lunch was very small. I bought the extra salad bar and the cucumber had been frozen so it had soft spots. Service was ok.

We walked out after waiting for our food for 40 minutes. It was not a busy night — there were maybe 5 other tables in our section. The table behind us arrived after us, was served their dinner before us, and was offered dessert before we even got our food. The server told us the reason our food was taking so long was because my husband’s burger was mistakenly cooked with cheese despite our request for cheese-​free due to his severe lactose-​intolerance. Do the cooks not read the instructions, or did the instruction never make it to the kitchen? How long does it take to make a burger and a chicken sandwich? 40 minutes? We’ll never know — we never saw the food. It was obvious that our fellow section mates could feel our angst as we decided to leave. One even mouthed «I would leave too» as she wiped her face with her napkin (note-​she and her party ordered after us and finished her meal including appetizers before we saw anything but our waters, which we nursed for 40 mins). We slipped a $ 5 on the table to the server and walked out. We’ve never done that before, but we were tired, irritated, and very hungry. We loved Ruby Tuesday in Virginia where we were last based, but will never eat there in Louisiana. Our only positives — lights were on in the building and the water was wet.

Avoid this place like the plague. Terrible meal. Thought from commercials that burgers were big and juicy. It was the tiniest burger. I ordered mine med rare. There was not a trace of pink. Dry and tasteless. My husband ordered the ribs with a side of loaded grits. Ribs did fall off the bone but meat was dried out (some like jerky). Grits were cold and in a hard pile. Overpriced as well for small dishes.

There are few times that I come here but I really enjoyed the food this time. I was greet by everyone when I walked in. I had the hickory bourbon salmon which was really delicious and had just enough seasoning on it. I would definitely come back again and again.

Add this to the chain restaurants that I won’t be eating at again. The service is either rude or incompetent. And the food is subpar. I’ll pass next time.

I haven’t been a huge fan of Ruby Tuesday since they changed their menu years ago, but we decided to go back and give it a try for lunch. The server was fantastic and the food was every bit as good. Honestly, it was so good that we were shocked. I’ll definitely be back.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The bathroom was disgusting, the food was served to us cold, our server was not attentive at all and the manager James was very rude! So disappointed! We will never eat here again.

I like Ruby Tuesday’s great salad bar. The Slidell location had good service. The salad bar was fine but not the best I’ve seen at a Ruby Tuesday. I’d eat here again though.

Food was great. Crab cake was very good. Peach tea is amazing. Staff is friendly and manager James is awesome.

The wife wanted to go here for the salad bar. It was okay. The salad bar is great. The steak I got was not, but it’s a chain, so I wasn’t expecting much. The rolls they brought out to us tasted great, but they were not warm. The drinks are $ 2.49 so make sure you get refills. If it was not for the salad bar, it would be on the same level as Applebee’s and Chili’s in the «we put our menus on posters» category of chain restaurants. The salad bar helps it stay a level up, so next time I’d just stick with that, because on a not so crowded day, the salad bar is worth it.
