The restaurant is easy to get to from I 12. Decoration is nice and authentic Thai. Staff/owner Ms. Cathy is very sweet and kind. We enjoyed talking to her. Food is very good as well. We had green curry and drunken noodle. Will come back again if we have chance.

Always a delicious meal in an inviting atmosphere. Daughter had yellow curry, I had Pad Prik King with shrimp.(Forgot to take a photo) both dishes were delicious!

Having lived in Thailand for a few year in the 1990’s I love Thai food, and with the exception of Seattle area I have had a very hard time finding a good Thai restaurant. But now I live in Slidell, La and it happened I found it a Thai restaurant with good food. The first time I eat at Thailicious I asked for Gang Won Seen. Although its not on the menu she made me a very good won seen noodle soup even added asparagus I just loved it. Then I had Pad Gra Prao with an egg on top just like my friends in Thailand made. If you live in the New Orleans area I highly recommend stopping by Thailicious in the Slidell area I have a feeling you will enjoy it just as I do every time I eat there

Ordered 2 orders of fresh rolls. When I order them, I asked if they could put just a little extra peanut sauce with them. When they came out, the peanut sauce was not underneath it on the plate as it’s normally served. It was in a little small side dish. I was content because it was probably about the same amount that would have been in the regular dish had they served at the way they normally do. It may have been a teaspoon or tablespoon more. Exactly what I wanted. Well, when the bill came out, they charged me $ 4 for extra peanut sauce. I told them that I did not actually get extra peanut sauce, all they did was move it. She ended up giving me a dollar back. But, if there were going to charge $ 4 extra for peanut sauce, I would think they would have at least said something. Especially since I didn’t actually order extra peanut sauce. I have been going to this Thai restaurant for many years. Ever since she moved from Robert Road. But, this was it for me. I will never be back. Unfortunate for them, $ 4 cost them a regular customer that has been going there for years.

Let me first start off by saying I LOVETHAIFOOD and I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and eaten a lot of curry– in Slidell, NOLA, Covington, Mandeville, Metairie, various Florida cities, and Nashville. Normally when in Slidell I get Thai from Osaka(more options for whoever I’m going with) but got grossed out the last time I was there, so my second choice is normally Thai orchid but bc of the side of town we were on we decided to go to Thailicious… Best decision ever! I got the green curry with crawfish… The spice level and flavor was fantastic at 3.5 stars(spicy!) the veggies were cooked well, and the crawfish were perfect. Probably THEBEST Thai curry(definitely top 3) I have ever had and that is a big deal for me!!! My husband got the spicy fried rice, fried spring rolls, and Thai tea and my dad got the drunken noodle and they both enjoyed everything! If you want Thai in Slidell GOHERE! :)

We were stopping through town just for the night and picked up take-out to bring back to the hotel. We both had the Panang Curry, and even though it doesn’t state it on the menu, they will add Tofu as the protein. The portions were generous and very delicious! The staff was courteous both on the phone and in person. If we ever stop through this area again we will definitely return.

I was surprised to find decent Thai food in Slidell. I found this place to be better than the other Thai restaurant I ate at in Slidell in the past, Thai Orchid. I went here with a party of 3. The place was pretty close to closing, and the restaurant was relatively empty. However, our server was very polite and attentive, which is not always the case in Thai restaurants. I ordered the panang curry. One of my friends ordered the pad thai, another ordered the fried rice. All three dishes were very good! My only wish is that I wish this place had duck as a meat option, mock or not. I went with pork instead, but I’d would rather have had duck. EDIT: Apparently, they do have it and it can be added upon request although I don’t remember it being on the menu. I guess I should have asked! Next time I’ll try it.

After perusing reviews, decided on this place for a lunch carry out order. The wait time was a little longer than expected but not too much. Ambiance typical of a Thai restaurant, no surprise there. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The order consisted of drunken noodles with chicken and green curry with seafood with Thai tea. First let me say that while I’m ignorant to what makes drunken noodles«drunken», we thought they were pretty freaking good! The green curry was good though I wasn’t prepared for the seafoam color. The seafood itself was okay but the addition of mussels was odd and not very appetizing. Also the order was slightly incorrect as both entrees were ordered minus bell pepper, yet I was picking them out of the curry first thing. Outside of these things, the food was good in an average way and the tea was as expected(and in GINORMOUS cups!), but I’ve been spoiled on a few insanely fantastic Thai restaurants in other locales. I might come back again, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.

Cute little family-run place, with a welcoming ambience that included not only attractive Thai décor, but also cute family portraits on the wall. We started with the blanket shrimp(based on other reviews) and were not disappointed. My husband had the Wednesday night special — pad prik pao — delightful beef pepper dish that came with two fried spring rolls. I had the green chicken curry — just the right amount of heat. The TV facing my husband was playing an NBA game; the TV facing me was playing Thai music videos… how perfect is that?! Service was friendly and attentive, and they even accommodated my husband’s request for iced green tea — not something they have on the menu. Worth it and we would be regulars if we lived in the area.

The best restaurant in Slidell, LA. Don’t let the outside appearance of the building fool you. It’s really good. The blanket shrimp is Amazing!!!

To start off with, the people here are so friendly and helpful. We ended up getting chicken fried rice and drunken noodles with chicken. Both were absolutely amazing! Flavorful, and just the right amount of seasoning. The amount you get for the money is great as well! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Good food and good value. The staff are very nice. The food takes a while to make but its worth the wait. I got the Saturday special Drunken Noodles and it’s pretty good. I feel the heat of the food around my lips and its good. Great place to hangout with friends and eat something new. It lives up to its name its Thailicious lol.

So I have been coming here for about a year now. Finally got Unilocal so here is my review. This place is the best Thai food I have had since moving to this area from California. I highly recommend starting out with the Blanket shrimp. The Thai Tea is also a good choice. I always tend to stick to the Curries, all of them after amazing. Great family owned Restaurant!

Thailicious is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene here. It’s one of only two Thai places in Slidell and the other one isn’t that good. The chef and owner, Kathy, came out to make sure we were happy with our dishes when I dined in and personally handed my order to me when I ordered to go. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing in the restaurant and all of the staff are very nice. I’ve had: spring rolls(good) Pad Thai-chicken and shrimp(very good) Seafood curry(excellent) If you are craving Thai food Thailicoious is a delicious choice.
