Ate there last night and The sushi was so fresh and delicious! The Tempura shrimp and veggies were also delicious! Service was great and friendly. Very clean place. Will be back!

The sushi was good and the service was fast. I worked for a Vietnamese family for a long time that made my favorite sushi, but perhaps I’m biased. When the service is attentive and the food is made with love, I’m going back!

I am actually sitting in here waiting on my to go order which is taking FOREVER! There is two people running around handling takeout and dine in. I asked if they were short staff she told me no just a lot of early orders. I’ll take that as short staff! I was told my call in order would be ready in 15 minutes, it has now been 40 minutes and counting. This is RIDICULOUS! Definitely won’t be returning, especially after watching the dine in customers go for long periods without service. Thought I should give them a try, but next time I’ll stick to YEE!

This place is amazing and the food is as well. I don’t know how they aren’t always busy.

Absolutely delicious. The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had. Not ambiance and always very friendly. I hate to tell people about this place, because I love never having to wait, but the food is just too good not to share. I highly recommend checking this place out of you are in Slidell.

The service was okay but the atmosphere was better. The food was not the greatest Japanese but it was a good grade a fish. I had the sashimi lunch special which was cool. The spicy tuna roll was spicy and full of flavor but lacked the presentation award for looks. They looked pretty sloppy as if I purchased them from a gas station. My wife tried the pineapple shrimp fried rice. She said that it was great. Again, it lacked color and wasn’t very pretty to look at For forty dollars for lunch I expected more. Overall, a nice place to eat but don’t expect much.

Can’t really say anything bad about this place. I know the location has struggled and gone as a couple different restaurants, but I definitely hope this one is here to stay. The food tastes fresh and it is very well prepared. I get the sense that they don’t skimp on the ingredients. The portions are good, the price is what you would expect, the taste is fantastic and the service was really good as well. Nice décor, kind of upscale with dark woods, and not really any of the cheap, we’re going out of our way to prove how Asian we are, decorum of some other places. It has become my go to sushi spot.

We decided to give this place a try, after reading the good reviews. We were really disappointed.
Pros:

Sushi was ok. Not great, just ok.
Prices were reasonable
Waitress agreed to put in our 4 year old son’s order quickly, so he could eat sooner.
They let our younger son (19 months) have some cherries from the bar while we were waiting for the food.
Food arrived hot

No kids menu
Asked for extra lemon slices with my water, didn’t receive them. I wouldn’t have mentioned it if the rest of what follows hadn’t happened.
Slow service overall
Waitress was unwilling to bring out rice or crackers or for our younger son, who was visibly fussy and hungry while we waited 25 minutes for our food. She finally agreed to bring out my side of fried rice early.
Sushi was just ok
Cucumbers were cooked in my dish, not zucchini like the menu said.
My Moo Goo Gai Pan got cold very quickly, which means it was either dished out onto a cold dish, or microwaved. It was also slimy, but I think that is just the nature of the dish. I couldn’t finish it, and had a sandwich at home afterwards.
We won’t be eating there again.

The restaurant is very nice and clean. Me and the family sat down in a booth. The booth was very spacious and big. It was enough room to put your elbows up if you wanted to. I ate sweet and sour chicken. It was nicely prepared and freshly cooked. I also enjoyed the egg rolls as well. I drunk the sweet tea it wasn’t too sweet. My family enjoyed their meals as well. I would recommend them for dining. I think it right next to the movie theater so one could get and go right to the movies :)
I didn’t have any of the sushi but the sushi bar looked well kept. I will plan to visit in the future.

Looking for a sushi fix and decided on this place due to reviews. Ordered take out of a couple rolls and sweet shrimp. The staff was friendly and service was quick. We were the only people there when we initially walked in.
The sweet shrimp tasted fine but looked a little odd. Could have just been the lighting at home, but they didn’t seem as pink as I remember.
The rolls were good, and the chef was kind enough to alter one to fit our needs. I’d like to try more of their sushi and sashimi before making a hard and fast decision, but for now I’m sticking with 3 stars. I’d give 3.5 if I had the choice.

After driving past this place for a couple of months I decided to try them for lunch. It was great! Great décor, good service, great food, wonderful flavors. I had the Salmon Bento Box Lunch, it came with Miso soup and salad, great stuff. Price was in line with other places with this quality of food. I’ll be back!

My husband and I are constantly moving, and we are big on sushi. Coming to New Orleans we were disappointed at first, we probably went to about 5 sushi spots but couldn’t find anything similar to the sushi we had in California or New York. My husband gave up but I told him to let’s give this place a try since we kept seeing 5 start reviews. This place was perfect the sushi was fresh and delicious for a good price, actually it was even better than any sushi we’ve ever had. The service and atmosphere was great, I would say perfect for a date. Can’t wait to go back !

Awsome sushi at a great price. My wife and I might be addicted as we can do a sushi lunch for less than $ 25. Many of the common flavors with some house specials on the menu. Their rolls are extra large but tight with a well balanced flavor. The tempora appetizers are also delicious and expertly done. We have gone to Wild Ginger a couple of times with the intention of trying other food but have never got to it because of the great deal that the sushi is. I would recommend to everyone.
