Amy’s Apples and Devilish Delights

Amy did our favors for our ⁹⁄₂₆ wedding at The Dorrance. We LOVED them and got many rave reviews from guests. I contacted Amy with a special request and she was more than happy to accommodate. We did cake in mason jars (pumpkin w vanilla buttercream and red velvet w cream cheese frosting-​to fit in with our fall wedding)
The jars looked beautiful and tasted amazing! (I may have had one for breakfast the next day!)
Amy does so much more than apples and everything is impressive. I wish I had her do a dessert table as well (her displays are so impressive). If you want something memorable at your reception that your guests will love-​see Amy!

I bought the most beautiful cake for my sons christening at Amy’s apples. Everyone said how delicious and gorgeous it looked! I will absolutely from now on buy all my cakes here! They were very helpful with my flavor decisions and also you can order right over the phone without the hassle of going there. I picked up the cake, it was beautiful, she brought it to my car and it was that easy.

Get to know chocolate on a deeper level at Amy’s Apples. Amy and her crew offer fun chocolate decorating classes that teach you the basics of working with this tricky ingredient — very handy for the beginner chocolatier! We learned how to temper chocolate so it’s just right for decorating. From there, she taught us tips and tricks on decorating with chocolate. From swirls to roses to proper beading, I got to practice my decorating skills on parchment paper before moving on to an edible blank canvas. I have to tell you — I couldn’t control myself from eating my decorations once they dried. #chocoholic
We learned how to properly dip cake pops and apples in chocolate and fun ways to decorate them. I decorated two cookies, two cake pops (one of which we learned how to shape into a heart!) and a caramel apple. Amy treated us to two bon bons (YUM) and samples of the cookie and brownies (so we wouldn’t have to dig into our confectionery visions just yet). The staff was really fun, helpful and patient. I will definitely take another class here. They’re always available for private parties! Such a fun, different way to celebrate a birthday!
THE GOODS: So after nibbling on samples of the brownie cake pop (fudge-​y, not cake-​y), their cookies and their AMAZING bon bons, I can attest that Amy’s Apple’s Devilish Delights taste JUST as good as they look, if not better.

I bought a bunch of chocolate covered caramel apples for my office for Christmas. I wish I had taken a picture of them… they were dark chocolate covered with a white chocolate filigree and nonpareils. Absolutely beautiful, and from what I heard, they tasted delicious. As much as I love internet shopping, I am trying to get more things (especially gifts) from local businesses, and Amy’s was a find. Their tiny brownie bites are decorated beautifully, I think I’ll come back and get some for my kid’s teachers at the end of the school year.

Amy’s Apples did my wedding favors and they came out perfect! I chose the brownie pops (which she let me taste test) and she coated them with purple and gray (my wedding colors) chocolate. They were almost too pretty to eat, but I remembered how delicious they were, so my husband and I gobbled up any extras after our wedding. I would definitely use Amy again for treats for a party. She had a wide selection of items that she does, from chocolate covered cookies (Oreos, Nutter Butters) to apples, cakes, and rice crispy treats.
