I ran in to grab pastries for a family function. I was a little annoyed that there are no prices to help guide you with your selection. When I found out the total, I was a bit shocked. The food is yummy, but this would be an occasional treat, at most. I have had way better for a lot less.

The bread here is amazing. I always get pizza strips when I’m visiting the area. They are always delicious –crust is perfect and the tomato sauce is sweet and savory. The spinach pie is amazing if you love garlic like me; the bread outside is always fresh too! The snowflake rolls and sliced bread are always good and, freeze well. I’ve had the cannoli and eclairs — the cream filling in both is delicious. The Danish is the only item I’ve tried that didn’t stand out.

By far the best bakery in Northern RI. The pastry is awesome, pizza more than hits the spot and if your a frosting lover, you have to try the Checkerboard cake! They have, hands down, the best chocolate frosting I have ever had. The staff is always friendly and make you feel like your one of the family.

Picked up a cake here for a party, and someone else brought cannolis from Pastryland, so I had a double dip of yummy desserts. Definitely 5 stars!

North Providence, RI
Love love love their calzones and pizza. I haven’t had a bad one yet! I used to work around the corner so this was always a nice go to for lunch. My faves are the buffalo chicken calzone and the veggie pizza. The crust is so good! Crunchy crust but soft doughy pillowy goodness. Got there late tonight so they didn’t have either of those left so I got a chicken parm, sausage and rabe and an Italian calzone. All were very good!
You can call and order pizza ahead of time. There’s always plenty of packaged cookies, biscuits and biscotti.
Not a sweets person but my friends love their pastries and desserts. I do indulge during Valentine’s Day and will get their chocolate covered strawberries.

I stopped in this week to try a few things. Bismark, apple square, brownie, shortbread cookie with jam filling, tiramisu cannoli. pizza slice, and pizza pocket with a side of marinara. Overall everything was pretty good A tad too much powdered sugar on the cookie and bismark though. They were also out of plain cannoli early in the afternoon, my fav. The brownie was ok but nothing I would go out of my way for. They sell pizza chips here and make the cutest giant cupcakes. Nice seating inside and a bar area. The pizza slice was really good. I would prefer regular pizza dough over whatever bread they use for the pizza pocket. I did not see prices or labels on anything, a major pet peeve. It always seems a little scammy, like they know people won’t ask what each thing costs if getting multiple things. Having to ask what things are is a nuisance too

I tried several items from here and enjoyed them all!
I will say that they had one of the best cannoli I’ve ever eaten! Even better than the overpriced ones on Federal Hill! The mascarpone filling was perfect and the shell was super crunchy and flavorful. I’m torn between this and the amazing cinnamon rolls as my favorite item from this bakery. My goodness — they were beyond soft, but not underdone, and the filling had hunks of apples in it! Heaven! The blueberry twist was also yummy — perfect texture on the pastry. Chocolate filled shortbread was tasty as well; my friend said he thought it was a little dry, but I thought it was perfect.
The girl behind the counter was very friendly and patient with us, as we debated what to purchase on our first time visiting. Will definitely visit again!

One of the places I miss most about RI!
This place has everything now, they have a full bar, a café, they serve pizza and calzones and they have, as the name would suggest, some of the best pastries in the state!
The calzones are amazing, the ham and peppers, steak and cheese and sausage and peppers are all selections you can’t go wrong with. If you go with the pizza, just go with the classic bakery style pizza. I grew up on this stuff, instant nostalgia…
The pastries are amazing. Cream puffs, zeppoles, jelly rolls and the best brownies I have ever had in my life. You might as well add on a couple pounds when you walk in the door, but the pastries are certainly worth it!
Always grab a coffee to go, real cheap and really good quality coffee!
