I would give this market zero stars if I could. They have an incredibly limited selection, and what little they DO carry is NEVER fresh. Their produce is always shitty looking, and I just got some ground beef today that’s ALREADY grey (on the inside) and smells funky. I’m amazed they are still open for business with the larger Dave’s and Stop and Shop right down the street.

When you’re not in need of prepared foods, or as many specialty items but still wish to shop locally owned, and at a higher quality for produce, meats, fish and the like, this is the perfect stop.
Don’t expect this to be a full bells and whistles Dave’s Market, it’s not. You’ll need to go over a few plazas to the hell that is smithfield crossing for in-house made baked goods, sushi, the salad bar, and a wall full of prepared foods that would span along the entire side of this smaller market.
If i just need some cold cuts or an odd but not too odd vegetable that Price Rite couldn’t supply me with, I am likely to try this Dave’s over trying my luck and patience in the parking lot of the other Smithfield Dave’s. I have never seen a line here, and the employees are incredibly nice and helpful at this location.

This is my go to market. Great prepared foods when u dont feel like cooking. Meat departmenthas a great selection as does the seafood dept. Great weekly deals. I would jist stay away from the frozen food isles. A bit pricey and can find better deals at other local markets.

I like this Dave’s much better then the bigger «fancy» ones. I think Dave’s can be a little too expensive at times but when they have stuff on sale you can find some good deals. I look at their weekly flyers time to time and I usually only shop here when they have a good price on something. Overall I think the place is good for small odds and ends/sales/produce but as far as all the other grocery items I think there are cheaper places around. This location is cute, convenient and the workers all seem very nice.

Being from out of state, I’m new to Dave’s, but I really like what I’ve seen so far. Everything is super fresh, and even in this smaller Dave’s location, there’s a really good selection. The employees are attentive and the prices are good. And where the prices are a little higher than Stop & Shop, etc., I find they are definitely worth it, as far as the quality goes. And free coffee! I’ve found that a Dave’s gift card makes a great Christmas gift. Wish we had a Dave’s in Massachusetts, you Rhode Islanders are lucky!
