Great place and food is fabulous and reasonably priced for a heathy meal! I love the hot bar options. And very knowledgable on their products and services.

This place reminds me of a mini WF or TJ’s. Less distractions and more«small town» kind of feeling. It’s great! Parking — They do have several spots, but Goodness Grocery shares the entire lot with like 8+ other shops. Lunch time may be rough. I personally come before or after a lunch rush, so I find spots easily. This entire shopping/eating area is really popular apparently. Inside — Just like a mini WF/TJ’s; super cute place. They also have a big seating area for folks who want to eat in. If I lived nearby, I’d totally shop here for most of stuff. People are extremely nice. I’ve seen the owners + their kids running around. The kids are well behaved: D None of the ‘kids are crazy’ shenanigans. I think they even help around with getting food to customers. Adorable. Food: Their salad bar looks AMAZING. If you’re a major salad lover, come here. They’ve got so many items and they all look fresh. Honestly, the salad bar looks better than WF/TJ’s. But that might just be me. Goodness Grocery’s looks cleaner and has more variables I feel like. Salmon BLT: Given in a generous portion. The Cajun taste is there, but not too much. The salmon is done just the right way. The bread they use is pretty good too. Each ingredients added went really well together. Sweet Potato Fries — If you’re Korean, these are Cocoma. Reminded me of my childhood when my mom would buy 348334 Korean Potatoes and heat them up. MMM. Good times. Tasted delicious. Great side item. If you’ve never had Korean Potatoes, I highly recommend you try it out here. They give just enough to fill you up with your sandwich.

Everything natural, all you can eat salad bar, home made soups, you can buy things like the vitamin shop but there’s better things in my opinion.

This is a very well-stocked natural foods store. They have food/provisions for every type of lifestyle and a great salad bar. I went for the bulgogi with kimchee and rice for lunch and it was fantastic! Everyone was very helpful and eager to answer any questions you have as well. So glad I live close by!

Great staff and best price when it comes to purchasing alkaline water. I purchase the 5 gallon container and it no more than 9 dollars. Sometimes I forget to top to water container so that’s why I pay an extra dollar. Can’t beat this price.

Yum yum yum! This is my newest discovery for healthy lunch options near the office. Organic produce/goods and a hot bar/salad bar make for a perfect one stop shop during your lunch break or quick pick me up after work. Goodness grocery is a bit hard to find as it is tucked away in a mixed-use commercial space and apartment complex. Ambiance: Smaller than Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s, but you can feel the neighborly homey-ness. The owner and workers are quick to greet you as you enter and ensure that you receive assistance. A simple chalkboard serves as a menu for the smoothies and hot bar and there is a seating area for you to enjoy your meal. Food: Ultimate favorite is the salmon BLT hands down. They use a light Cajun sauce and the salmon is a sizeable portion for only ~8 $. The bun that they serve this sandwich on is whole wheat rather than plain white. I felt great about every ingredient they put on this delectable sammy. For your side, definitely order the sweet potato fries. I tend to shy away from fries since they usually are served sopping in grease, but these fries were barely fried, if at all. The kitchen uses korean sweet potatoes, which I personally prefer to the American variety. The wedges were cut thick, and the flavor was the right amount of sweet. I have also tried the turkey burger which is served similarly on a whole wheat bun. The sauce used for this burger is tomato-based. It was very good as well, but salmon BLT still ranks #1 in my books. Service: Both times I have been here, service has gone above and beyond my expectations. The workers greet me before I even approach the counter. Food comes out very quickly. Other things to note: though this grocery store is small, they have a wide variety of products. My coworker was able to find eco-friendly Seventh Generation Auto dishwashing packets, which she said she couldn’t even find at Whole Foods.

Perfect little privately owned health food store. The best feature is the small friendly staff. On most visits they take extra effort to get to know their customers and to educate them on the world of health. They offer a restaurant in the back with a variety of menu options. They also have a soup and salad bar for dine in and carry out. They sell all of the popular organic and clean brands, they even sell healthy snacks for my dog! Why eat bad when you can eat Goodness at Goodness Grocery! Try it.

What an amazing place. I had no idea they were here. Tons of great stuff, now I know where to go if I need raw vegan protein powder, wheat grass or whatever. I’ll be back.

The Soup Garden used to be located off of Cobb Parkway and I used to eat there for lunch all the time. I followed them here because they really do have the best soup. They have 4 – 6 soups at a time. When I have time, I love to take advantage of their unlimited soup buffet for lunch. Their café also have salads and other food but I’ve only had their soup. Today, I had to choose one soup because I was picking some up to go so I stuck with chicken noodle. It was so delicious that I wish I got the large size instead of the medium. Even the pieces of chicken in the soup was good. I find that sometimes the chicken isn’t very tender in these types of soups but theirs was perfect. I really liked what the grocery store had to offer. They carry a really good selection of natural beauty products and organic foods. The lady that works there is very helpful.

After visiting Goodness Grocery, my first impression was not the best. The issue that gives this place two stars is EXPIREDPRODUCTS on the shelves… and not just one product. The granola and almond milk yogurt I purchased were all expired when I got home. They were a few days past the expiration date. This was disappointing and unacceptable. Also, the prices are pretty high to be a small neighborhood establishment. Some of the products cost the same or more than Whole Foods. The grocers are very nice and they do have a hot and cold bar with healthy meal options. You can get a protein and two sides for $ 7.00 which is reasonable. If Goodness Grocery puts effort into checking expiration dates, it would be a better option for customers interested in healthy products. A Sprouts Farmers Market is opening this spring down the street so these are serious details that this independent health grocery store need to take seriously. As a patron of this establishment, I expect products on shelves to not be expired. I should not have to check the expiration date anticipating it to not be fresh. This store will build that kind of reputation doing this.

I love any place in Atlanta where you can get Alkaline water by the galloon. Just bring in your bottles and fill them up yourself. It’s a really great place with a great selection and helpful staff. I just wish they had a store actually in Atlanta.

Great and convenient location when you need that all natural/organic kick in the butt! I love their power shots and smoothies and will continue to buy my raw meal from here. They also have taken the time to talk with me about many different nutrition and other health related subjects.

Almost missed this place. I was actually coming out of Five Guys!!! They have a good selection of health foods, supplements, vitamins and even essential oils. They even serve lunch here. The prices are fair and the owner is very helpful. They hold classes on some evenings focused on health and fitness. Glad to have a shop like this nearby.

We occasionally grabbed small items here and there and just recently discovered the café. Oh my gosh, everything is terrific. The blackened tilapia is fantastic. We are going there all the time now. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They need to promote their café more to customers because it is delicious!

This grocery store is small but the café made me the most amazing wild salmon sandwich and the people couldn’t be nicer. Save money and skip whole foods!

This store is right around the corner from my house. It is a convenient store for when I need a quick health food store type of item, but don’t feel like making the trip all the way to Harry’s in Marietta or the Whole Foods stores in Buckhead or Sandy Springs. The selection of shelf stable items is very good. They also have a deli area that makes sandwiches, wheat grass juice shots, etc. I typically go there for vitamin supplements or a quick pinch item I need that I can’t get at the Kroger down the street. However, I will say that there is almost no fresh produce offered at this store. There is handful of fresh food items in the back, but it is a small selection. I imagine it is too expensive for the owners to stock too many perishable items while the store is still getting off the ground, as the demand probably isn’t there. The checkout staff seems mostly Asian and all are friendly. The only negative experience I have had here is an inventory lady who was basically following me down the skincare aisle as I was trying different skin creams. You’d think she would give me some personal space, but she was totally hovering next to me and inchin g after me down the aisle. She finally noticed my tension and said, «Oh don’t worry. I’m not following you.» But um hello, yes she was. I actually ended up not buying anything in that aisle because I didn’t feel like I had the privacy to enjoy my shopping experience. Bad form on her part, but since I’ve only seen that woman there once ever, I don’t think it’s a pervasive issue. Overall, I would recommend supporting this independent health food store. It is a great addition to the neighborhood and offers a lot of natural and organic foods, pet supplies, health and beauty products, and vitamins and supplements.

Somewhere between Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods lies Goodness Grocery, an almost one-stop shop for all things natural, organic and good for you. Their extensive line of body care products is nothing short of amazing — this is where Trader Joe’s just can’t compete. They carry skin care, health care items, vitamins, supplements, shampoos, soaps, bubble baths, etc. and even organic feminine products(which I never knew existed). The grocer also features aisles and aisles of better for you everyday packaged food products, everything you’d need to stock your shelves. If it’s gluten-free, diary-free, peanut-free or sugar free, they’ve got it in stock. Last time I visited, they’d added lunch meats and sliced cheeses, so they’re ramping up their fresh foods as well. They still have a ways to go on produce, but they offer fresh cooked foods to go in the meantime. The staff is quite helpful, without being overly friendly, and they actually appear to use the products in the store. Goodness Grocery has the convenience of a Trader Joe’s with more products to choose from and benefits from being smaller than Whole Foods, which can be a little overwhelming on a simple Saturday shopping trip. Stop in and ask lots of questions, they’ve got answers and plenty of good foods.
