Waffle House

Out of all the Waffle House locations I’ve been to this is the worse. I called in to make an order 15 minutes before I clock out for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. When I got there no one said anything, the place was slow people were on phones and counting tickets. After several minutes I got someone’s attention and was told my order hasn’t been cooked yet. The employee that finally asked if I needed help had an attitude with me like it was my fault the device was going bad. Overall poor service, the employees insult customers and nothing was done in a timely manner. Never again

I don’t care what anyone says!!! I’m a foodie and I love Waffle House! Perfect hash browns every time, love the cinnamon raisin bread & apple butter combo… but my absolute fave: the fluffiest omelette ever!!! #wffan4eva

I usually love me some greasy Waffle House but don’t what was going on tonight. I stopped in to have something to eat after work. Food was ok but waitress was horrible. She was rude to me from the initial greeting till I left. Maybe she thought I wasn’t gonna leave her a good tip because I was by myself but that doesn’t excuse the taking loud on your phone while I wanted some more water… Don’t know if I’ll come back to this location at least not late at night

The friendliest people work at this Waffle House on Atlanta Road.
This is a busy location so I know the employees must be under some stress but they never let it show. From the time you place your order until your food arrives you feel taken care of.
They serve the standard Waffle House fare; Eggs, Bacon, Grits, Hash Browns etc. which is always hot and delicious.
Personally, I can’t get enough of those Hash Browns!

Waffle House is a GA tradition. You always know exactly what you are going to get. Can’t beat the all star special! Great deal for a ton of food I can never finish. And it is always ready very fast. This location is always clean and like most locations they always get your order right. Watching the cooks and the line prep is impressive. I’ll never understand their yelling and putting random things on plates as a method of submitting orders but hey it works!

Don’t often review chain restaurants but the food and service at this Waffle House was really outstanding. We were getting away early from Atlanta for a long drive to Tampa and stopped here for a quick breakfast. You just really can’t go wrong in the Atlanta area with Waffle House for a quick and reasonably priced breakfast.
My go-​to meal is always their ham and cheese omelet with well-​done hash browns and raisin toast. Consistency and taste are always great and this Waffle House was no exception. My son loves the steak and egg omelet and a low carb sub of tomatoes instead of potatoes.
If you are going through Atlanta you really ought to add a Waffle House for breakfast and the Varsity Drive-​In for lunch to your dining bucket list.

Gotta say I was slightly disappointed. My grilled cheese was spot on but the hash browns and coffee were a bit off. I always love waffle house but this 1am trip wasn’t the best. Better luck next time!

Once again, another great experience at the S. Atlanta Waffle House near West Village and I-​285. Last minute decision and well worth it. No one else was there (arrived @ 4:45pm) and had our pick of the booths ;)
After selecting a prime location — away from restrooms and windows lol — our server Rebecca (who also greeted us when we arrived) promptly took our order. We were in the mood for breakfast and ordered waffles, triple hash browns with diced tomatoes and grilled chicken and oj and tea. I described my desire for the waffles to not be too under or over cooked and Rebecca understood. She said «golden brown» and they were exactly how we wanted.
Another good experience after several years. Did have a few call in mishaps but overall good experiences with this location.

This is the best Waffle House in metro Atlanta. Whether taking out or dining in the service is consistently pleasant. The location is also cleaner than most Waffle Houses I’ve visited.
They have messed up my call in order a few times but they’re always so apologetic and pleasant, I can’t be angry.
My favorite is the All Star breakfast; crispy bacon, eggs scrambled with cheese, grits and wheat toast. I never eat it all but I get a good sample of everything.

It’s a Sunday so it’s really busy. Luckily we got in right before the early crowd. My daughter loves the cheese biscuits and waffles. I got the all star breakfast. I wish they had turkey substitutes for the meat but I exchanged it for hash browns.

Terrible service on multiple occasions. One experience began with a frustrated server telling us that we were keeping her from getting off her shift. Then, the same server appeared to have a spat with her boyfriend who just so happened to be the cook. He got ticked off enough that he abandoned the flattop mid cook and walked outside. As the backup cook fumbled over the orders, my group left after waiting 45 minutes with nothing more than our drinks to show for it. I’ve yet to return and doubt I will since fortunately there are plenty of other WH locations to choose from.

First time having grits and I was glad to have them here. Hash browns 8 different ways, yes please. They do not have locks on their doors, true 24/7…get here anytime…

Excellent Waffle House. Clean, and of course inexpensive. Just moved here last month and this one is on my way to work. Love places that cook the food in front of you. Great cheap meals. Good Job.

When I go to places like Waffle House there are only a few things that will make or break the experience. The food and atmosphere are pretty much the same at everyone I have ever been to, but the 2 things that can fluctuate drastically are cleanliness and service.
This particular Smyrna location turned out to be pretty nice. I met some friends for breakfast, had a good time, and left full. The dining area and bathrooms were generally clean and the staff was really friendly.
Well done Waffle House!

Another day, another Waffle House.
I’m pretty sure this one is the closest to where I live but yet, this was the first time I’d ever been here. I just stopped in to pick up a to-​go order (yes, I often order take-​out from WH; what?) and I was pleasantly surprised by the VERY clean and VERY friendly environment. No colorful story here, just good old fashioned quality customer service in a place that didn’t make me say an extra grace before I took my first bite of food.
The food was what it was supposed to be and the price is always right. Can’t ask for much more with a Waffle House.

What can I say, it’s a Waffle House. The food is always consistent and this particular one has a great and fun staff.

We are visiting Georgia from California & we needed breakfast. The crêpe place around the corner wasn’t open yet so we figured we’d try the Waffle House. It is small and seating wasn’t readily available but we didn’t wait long. The food is super inexpensive. The service is extremely friendly. We got a little bit of everything for not a lot of money. We had a very satisfying breakfast for less than $ 20. One note — the meat is very salty.
