Customer service sucks. Staff sucks. Place sucks. Thought we just went on a bad day so we went again and it was probably even worse the second time around. Don’t bother

Came in, was quickly seated, orders were quickly taken, and food came out in reasonable time. I ordered the steak tips, eggs, hashbrowns, and cupcake pancakes. My guy had the breakfast sampler with grits. Everything was to our liking, it’s IHOP not the Ritz Carlton brunch. Melonie was our a waitress she was friendly and fast. No complaints on food or service. One thing I thought was disruptive to the restuarant was this woman loud talking in kitchen, we were about 10 seats from the kitchen and could hear her clear as day! Whomever she was talking to we couldn’t hear them but we could hear her, she was talking about she would come into cook on wenesday. I was like geeez! She’s really loud! Smh besides that it is what it is.

The food came out immediately and was freshly prepared.
I never thought I’d do a Unilocal review for IHOP, but here we are ;).

We went out for a late brunch (around noon) today, a Thursday. I didn’t think I needed to look up reviews, since it’s Ihop, and I’ve only had a handful of bad experiences, ever. This was awful. As soon as we walked in, we were seated (with about 3 other tables eating, not busy at all). It smelled musty. The hostess took our drink orders, and we waited a full 20 minutes, and never received a drink OR had our orders taken. After just over 20 minutes of waiting, we got up and walked out. Nobody even noticed. We had an enjoyable meal elsewhere… we will not be returning to this location again.

2^nd time I come to iHop and the service was amazing and our server Nakisha was AWESOME!!! From now on she will be the server I want. Thank you Nakisha for the AWESOME service.

Great service food horrible. .cooked my meal 3 times and it still wasn’t right! The lady manager acted as tho the situation was to complicated to get right. .eggs was raw. .cold pancakes. .just horrible

Went to this ihops at 740pm, we waited an hour and half for our food and ended up walking out. Service was very bad. I wouldn’t recommend this ihops to anyone. Ended up going to waffle house down the street. Very very bad

Literally just got up and left after ordering to go to waffle house. Nobody to sit us, had to flag down waitress for everything, place was empty, dirty, musty, and after 20+ minutes of waiting for food, got up and went to Waffle house.

I had not been to an IHOP in so long (probably a few years), and after this visit I won’t be quick to return to one either. First, both sets of the silverware were dirty with dried up food on it. We decided to just ask for plastic cutlery. I ordered the smokehouse combo (2 pancakes, egg, hash brown, and smoked sausage). The pancakes were okay. The smoked sausage looked like it could have been cooked longer and didn’t taste too good to me so I sent it back and asked for the sausage patties (which turned out not to be all that good– I definitely could have cooked better sausage at home). The hash browns also tasted as if they could have been cooked a bit longer too. I only ate like 2 forks of my scrambled eggs. The waitress was m.i.a most of the time. Needless to say I don’t plan on returning to this IHOP or probably any other one any time soon.

Believe it or not, I’m really not a fan of iHops. Not judging all establishments by one experience, but over all I don’t like the food, seating, atmosphere. Hearing the name just makes me sick. Shockingly enough, this iHop changed my experience. Maybe it is just this iHop, maybe I just came at the right time, I don’t know, but here is what I do know. With as many cars that were in the parking lot and people inside, everything was being managed. I didn’t have to wait in line for but 3 minutes, if that even. I didn’t just get my food in a timely fashion, I got it HOT! To me that makes a huge difference. Says the cook and the waitress are in synch, not just serving people whenever they feel like it. Probably the funniest thing to me is that I actually liked the food. I don’t know what they put in it, but I ate it up! So much so that I even ordered an extra thing of pancakes, and I hate iHop pancakes So for me, minus all the other reviews, this place is one of the best iHops I have ever been too, and it’s wasn’t expensive either! If it wasn’t so far away from me, I would go here more often.

Stop by for a late talk and snack. Waitress would not sit us further away from her. She kept us with in 4 feet of her while she had her ear against the glass listening. When we asked for a further seat she said she has to save for all the other guests. The place is empty. 2 people total. We could not talk because wait staff was all in our business. Will never go back.

I had dinner (breakfast) last night and was so disappointed. I ordered the omelet that had the steak in it. NEVER AGAIN. It was so.dry. Our waitress did not know the menu very well because she did not inform me that the omelet had hash browns in it, after I ordered hash browns. I have never heard the expression 1 toast or 2.
To top it off there is an elderly waitress there that is absolutely disgusting. Her uniform shirt has dry, crusty, yellow arm pit stains and they are noticable. It does not do much for your appetite.
I love IHOP but after seeing that… NO WAY

IHOP is known for its pancakes and breakfast food, but I stopped at this particular location for dinner. This IHOP can be found in the same shopping center as the Cumberland Best Buy on Cobb Parkway, not far from I-​285. Of the Atlanta area IHOPs, I’ve been to the one on Clairmont Rd. near I-​85 the most.
Generally, I like IHOP’s buttermilk pancakes. They’re tasty and filling. The rest of the breakfast foods — waffles, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns — are okay and pretty typical, generic, salty and greasy American breakfast foods. It’s nice though to have these breakfast foods available as an option ²⁴⁄₇. So kudos to IHOP for that.
I visited this IHOP on a weeknight with a friend and the restaurant was mostly empty. The slow business meant great service for us. Our orders came out from the kitchen quick and our server was on us the whole time. I ordered the crispy chicken salad and my buddy got a cheeseburger.
The crispy chicken salad consisted of chopped iceberg lettuce, small chunks of boneless fried chicken, chopped tomatoes, bacon bits, shredded cheese (Jack and cheddar), a hard boiled egg (sliced), honey mustard dressing, and garlic bread. The ultra buttery garlic bread was the best part, but for the wrong reason. While the salad was surprisingly filling and sufficiently fresh, the quality of the ingredients was similar to veggies I could find at Kroger. It looked like a salad anyone could make at home. Plus, the fried chicken bits weren’t all that appetizing, like they came from a bag of Tyson’s frozen chicken.
My tablemate’s cheeseburger looked fine. They came with ordinary-​looking fries and a pickle spear. A simple plate and it appeared more appetizing than my salad. In hindsight, I ordered the wrong thing and should’ve gone with one of the burgers or pancake combos.
Advice: Stick with IHOP’s core product — breakfast food.

Service is reliably terrible, whether you’re in a large group or booth for two. Last time I went with my husband I asked if they had fresh strawberries they could put on my waffle. The waiter, who was half listening, nodded wordlessly and didn’t write down our orders, so I didn’t expect much.
The waffle came out saturated in strawberry compote goo, defeating the purpose of ordering it extra crispy and making me cranky and hungry. The waiter quickly left after dropping off our food so I had to wait quite a while for him to reappear so I could get it recooked with actual strawberries.
We will, of course, be back.

One of the best places to eat flapjacks in the area! Ask for Atia, one of the best waitresses there!

I love this IHOP because it’s chock full of character. First, it is a multicultural melting pot. I can hear conversations in English, Spanish, and what seems like angry Russian. Or maybe Greek. I dunno. The servers are funky and quirky, yet sweet. I love it when a gold grill and bright pink hair calls me «baby» and «honey» when taking my order or when bringing me warm syrup. Makes me feel special. I digress… Food is always delivered fresh and hot. What’s not not love!!!

IHOP has never let me down. I truly can’t think of one incident where I had a horrible entrée or a bad server/​service or anything.
I tend to stick with the basics: pancakes, eggs, sausage links, maybe a toast. I call myself getting a lil’ fancier than normal last time and ordered the «garden omelette?» if I’m remembering correctly. Whooo, boy. That thing was about a mile long and half a mile tall on my plate. It was filled with cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, green peppers, and uh… let’s just say the boyfriend got a little jealous and wanted to switch with me.
What else is there to say? It’s IHOP and I’ve yet to be let down. =)

I’ve been to different IHOP restaurants, but the service at this one was the absolute WORST I’ve ever experienced.
Our server was absolutely inept. When my group of 7 arrived, we all ordered breakfast food. It took her about five minutes to get our coffee and waters… not a good sign. We all just ignored it and continued on.
The straw that broke the camel’s back and prompted a ONE star review was the fact that individuals that arrived AFTER us were all getting their food BEFORE us… and we all pretty much ordered the SAME ITEMS. When that happened I immediately went to the manager, who got our food for us. There goes her tip.
THEN, when we were done, we were ready to pay and leave. NO SERVER TO BE FOUND. When I got up and located her, she was having a PERSONAL CONVERSATION with one of her friends, and looked very irritated that I interrupted her to pay our bill. Oh no baby, homie don’t play that! So I found the manager again and told her what happened, and she took 20% off of our bill.
But that wasn’t all. As we were leaving, the server then tells her friend «Oh my goodness, that was my last group; I’m ready to go home!» Inept, horrible service.
Don’t worry about us IHOP in Smyrna, we won’t be back. EVER.

Ive never had a issue with the place. Food has always been good and kids eat free after 4:30pm so my daughter is a cheap date lol!
