November 2014 I contacted the merchant with questions about their Living Social. I was encouraged to purchase the service directly as it was a better deal. Later that day our stove died(2 weeks before Thanksgiving) and we needed to replace it. I called them to cancel and request a refund and was denied the refund. I explained the situation, but the representative didn’t care. 3 days later the office manager finally called me and issued a full refund. This was only after I threatened to publicly post on social media how they didn’t fully disclose their cancellation/refund policy and that I would contact the BBB. Their website doesn’t state their cancellation/refund policy either. Where with Living Social, I know I would have received a full refund.

Awful experience!!! These people are out for your money and that’s it! I booked a specific time slot before the holidays and they never showed. Then they repeatedly called me leaving messages that they need my address even though it’s already been given twice to them. And a nasty message saying if I don’t call back in 10 minutes they will cancel. They were 2 hours late. I was at work and my husband was waiting for them. I told them they screwed up and I want refund. Lady says no problem. I still don’t have a refund to this day. This is the same lady who convinced me to buy their deal directly thru their website and not groupon like I wanted to because«it was a better deal.» It was only better for them. I hope someone reads this and goes another direction. DONOTUSETHISBUSINESSUNLESSYOUWANTTOTHROWAWAYYOURMONEY!
