Publix Super Markets

I have noticed a improvement in the customer service at this location. Hopefully if this continues I would use this Publix on a more regular basis.

This Publix location is near my home but honestly I’d rather drive up to Kroger’s or to another Publix. The workers here are very rude and it seems like they don’t like there jobs. I went to buy a cake for my mothers birthday party a few weeks back and the lady in the bakery saw me standing there and didn’t even ask to help until I waved at her and asked if she could help me. I wanted the cake to say happy birthday so I told her that and she was taking her time walking I was late as it was to my mothers birthday dinner and this was just taking her sweet time so I nicely asked her to hurry up because I was running late. She rolled her eyes at me went to the back and when she came back with my cake it looked like a 5 year old wrote «happy birthday». I was mad but I was like just forget it and I took the cake like that anyways.
Another thing that I hate about this store is that the people who bag your groceries DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. They seriously try to STUFF everything in the least amount of bags possible. I’m sorry but I don’t like my fruit squished and especially not in the bags as my meats. They have a sign where their bags are located that state «STRIVE FOR FIVE» meaning to put 5 things in one bag. The workers take that to the extreme. last time I was in here 9 items where placed in ONE bag. Maybe the workers get charged of the number of bags that they use. That’s not my problem though, I don’t want to get home and a smoothie of fruits in my bag because they want to be cheap and not bag my items properly. This happens every time. Kroger workers know exactly how to bag my items.

This is the worst Publix. I gave up going to this location after a few months and now drive farther for the Vinings location (way better). This location is ghetto! It’s in a bad area and you expect the type of service from being in this part of town. The ppl that work in the deli are abs. horrible! There will be a line of ppl waiting to get deli meat while all the workers behind the counter just slowly walk around not helping any customers waiting for their other coworkers to take the customers first… seriously…this place is ridiculous. There’s a lot of gangs that hang out front and there are police sometimes.

Seriously, if you live were there are Publix Super Markets, you know how delicious their subs are, how nice the cashiers are, how they have the best cakes ever, and how all of their branded food is probably better than the name brand stuff you already love.
This Publix is getting a little long in the tooth, and as such could use a little bit of a makeover. With that being said its still my go to grocery when I’m in the Smyrnietta area (s) of Cobb county. Yes I just made up a location, but you know what I’m talking about.

Visited this Publix again recently. Maybe the first time I didn’t notice, but wow, there is a lot of police presence at this location.
Maybe they have a mini precinct nearby, but I’ve been two or three times since my visit over the past Christmas holidays, and every time there has been two to three loads of polices in the parking lot.
The layout of the Publix is way different than the ones in my neighborhood, so I have found myself having to ask someone where things are. For example, the sandwich meats/​deli cuts are located in the meat department. Not really weird, and it fits, but Im more accustomed to having near the dairy case, however no biggie. The staff is Publix friendly and they normally direct me to what I’m looking for with a smile.

This Publix Supermarket is near my place of employment so I often find myself stopping by a few times a week to pick up some items for dinner. Just like most other Publix stores, this one is clean and offers a variety of brands. I love to visit the foodcourt to get either a sub sandwich or a rotisserie chicken for an easy weeknight meal. All of the employees are nice, and this Publix is usually not busy so I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time.
