Only shop here if you want to buy expired food & want them to cram everything you buy into one bag no matter what it is. Terrible store, I go for convenience & because I love Publix but this is the worst of them no doubt. Guess I will have to track over to Sam Ridley to get a decent store.

The customer service manager, Joyce, was downright RUDE. If I wanted that kind of treatment, I’d go to K-Mart. I had a $ 40 check I needed cashed and she just flat out refused and walked away. Definitely won’t be returning.

Tony and I went to Publix Super Market to pick up a few groceries. We were in the area and decided to shop here. We absolutely love the fact that this is a VERYCLEAN store. and we both agreed that the CHAIN of Publix are always the most clean stores we have grocery shop in. We noticed all the employees carry a cleaning cloth with them. We noticed that there is always so many employees to help out. They are so helpful. The groceries are so well stocked and I love the flow of the stores The prices are a little more expensive. A few pennies here and there, and some items about .30 to .50 more but they have a lot of Buy ONEGETONEFREE items. I love the Bakery section, The Deli section, well actually all the sections. The store chain could give lessons to other chains on how to keep their stores this clean and they Rock on Customer Service… Others like Kroger’s(((which I love by the way)) should learn from them. Great store!!!

I always stop in here when I am staying at my brothers place nearby. Nice clean store with excellent customer service. Everyone I passed said hello and asked how I was and if I needed any help. Smiling and friendly people. The shelves were all well stocked and prices are slightly above average.

Like the other reviews, I am a convert from Kroger & not likely to ever go back. The people are always very friendly when you’re in front of them. One time back in May I called the bakery wanting to ask some questions about the ingredients used in cakes. I was cleaning up my kids diet. Well the reception I received told me that I wouldn’t be purchases the cake. She snorted at me, kept pulling the phone away to yell at someone because she didn’t know, told me «you might as well make it yourself» then pulled away again & yelled«hey, you wanna talk to this lady?» I hung up & decided to never buy a bakery item again. Oh, they don’t actually bake the cakes in the«bakery»

In general, we like shopping at Publix in Smyrna, TN. We love the fresh vegetables and meats. The smell of fresh-baked bread is so enjoyable. The store is always clean, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. One afternoon I went in and was looking for something for dinner. The gentleman at the meat counter suggested the pre-seasoned Italian meatballs. Sounded good. I got them. The next afternoon, I was back looking for something to make for dinner, again. The same guy passed me, walking down the aisle. He stopped and asked how the meatballs turned out. I was shocked that he remembered me. It is a great experience. Employees are fantastic! However, we have always found that the other shoppers are extremely snooty, hateful and entitled. If the shoppers were half as friendly as the employees, it would be a better experience.(I know… Publix can’t control that). I’m just sayin’… lol

I am so thrilled that Publix opened in Tennessee — I always dreaded grocery shopping as choices were limited to Kroger hell or Walmart disaster. Publix are always well stocked — fresh produce choice meats and staffed with pleasant workers who seem to care about what they do — unlike the miserable people at Krogers and Walmart. LOVE shopping here! pricing is very fair and equal to what I spend at the other retailers in the area.

This is the cleanest Publix I have EVER been in. The vegetables and meat are the freshest around and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We’ve also been happy with the bakery service…3 years of consistently delicious birthday cakes!

If they would hire me to do the job, I would gladly be the public poster child! Their bakery is delicious, their deli is incredible, and their produce is the freshest! I have been a long time shopper at this location and have never been greeted by anything other than complete hospitality and eagerness to help. This location is where it is at!

I’ve only been in Publix a couple times, but have always had a good experience. The store is generally clean, short lines and helpful employees. I did run in here Saturday evening to grab a couple bagels for the morning. Unfortunately, the selection was slim as they probably don’t start baking until the AM. They have great meat in the deli and a good selection elsewhere.

Waiting in line is not usually a problem, because It’s never too busy except weekends. Even then, all the checkout lanes are never full. I like it, it gives me time to be myself. For example I like to pick fresh fruit that without bruises or nicks. Luckily, it’s never in short supply. Publix taxes you(is that where the x comes from), save @walmart or aldi. There’s sales on cereal that help. Publix offers higher quality items and some organic. Convenience, quality, and good Service keep me coming back. For example, they Always ask me to carry my groceries, even if it’s two small bags. I’m a strong guy and can handle it myself, but thank you anyways. There’s two small quips. 1. They always have like 10 fried chickens. If people come to publix for fried chicken and to shop, then why don’t we do fresh orders and pick up at checkout. It’ll cause so much less waste and disgusts me, besides fresh is always better. 2. There’s a trend to buy prewashed vegetables. I actually got a weird look when I bought spinach that wasn’t already bagged. Relatedly, lack of green leafy selection.

I love shopping at Publix. I used to shop exclusively at Kroger until I stepped foot in Publix. Now I won’t go back to Big K. The customer service is head and shoulders above any other grocery chain in Middle TN, even Whole Foods. The employees look clean and neat, they engage in conversation without being annoying and they are very helpful. I had a few price issues I didn’t notice until I got home and they quickly fixed the situation and gave me cash for the difference. Their variety of most foods is much more than Kroger. They carry my brand of yogurt(no other store in Nashville did), they have lots of delicious gluten-free frozen meals to choose from, gluten free bread and lots of ciders. I’ve seen cheaper prices for a few things at Kroger, but I’m willing to pay a little more to feel appreciated as a customer. which I do at Publix. And they don’t make you have a stupid club member card to save $$. They just let everyone save money on whatever’s on sale! Winner!!!
