The Fountain Laser Hair Removal

I was on I 285 today and a crash occurred directly in front of me. I called to let them know what happened and they still would not reschedule without a $ 35 fee. The lady I spoke with was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was a regular at this establishment, getting my bikini and under arms lasered. However, after this encounter, I will not be returning.

I had to reschedule an appointment due to an out of town emergency. I canceled within 22 hours of my appointment. They would not waive the 24 hours notice $ 35 cancelation fee. Ridiculous!

I have just completed 8 of the 9 upper lip/​chin laser sessions I purchased from The Fountain. For those of you considering hair removal: I have pale skin and coarse, dark facial hair. It is genetic and a total pain in the butt. After all of these treatments my hair is so much more manageable, though there is still growth. Overall I am glad I did it. If it wasn’t for my last experience with The Fountain, they would have 5 stars. I think it is important to first mention that I did not buy my package through a discount site (stupid me), I paid full price. When I first started going to The Fountain, I was seeing Wency in Buckhead. She was a total sweetheart and very accommodating. My lip/​chin package included my upper lip, my cheeks (the sides of my mouth ~ .5″ to 1″), my chin, and under my chin. I was super pleased with the results and saw her 6 times.
Then I was notified that the Buckhead location was under remodel and Wency was no longer with the company. My 7^th appointment was at the Smyrna location. I overheard someone discussing the lip/​chin package and clarified with the technician that I would still be receiving laser on the sides of my mouth, as that is a problem area for me. She assured me that that was included and I was totally pleased with the session.
My 8^th appointment was a total scam. It was with a technician I had never met before and only covered my upper lip and right below my mouth. Imagine drawing a straight line from the corners of my mouth (closed, no smile) to my jawline. It was basically ¾th of the area that had been previously treated every time in my last 7 sessions. Upon finishing, the tech pointed out that she hadn’t covered those areas and tried to sell an additional package to cover my jawline/​cheeks. She stressed that she would lose her job if she treated the sides of my mouth if I hadn’t purchased the additional package. I asked to see her manager and was told that the manager might be too busy to talk to me. Seriously? I’ve had this area treated 7 times already and now when I am almost done you are going to switch it up? Needless to say, the manager never came. The tech came back in and said she could treat a little bit more because when I smile my mouth is wider so technically the «corners of my mouth» rule still holds. She gave me a couple more zaps and sent me packing.
Not only did I pay FULL PRICE for this package (still feel dumb after constantly seeing deals online), but I have spent the better part of a year getting excellent service gladly treating the same area over and over again. Now in my second to last session I have to practically beg for a treatment she ended up doing anyway.
It seems like The Fountain is undergoing some restructuring and is trying to cut down on how much an area covers. Fine, whatever. The Fountain embraces high volume, discount based clientele, and is obviously working in bulk. Just don’t switch up the service I’ve been receiving right before I’m finished and try to sell me more. If this hadn’t happened, I would have absolutely purchased more services from The Fountain. In fact, I was planning on it. But now I am not even looking forward to my last appointment with them.

I went a couple of years ago with a groupon and got armpits, and then got a deal on bikini line. Armpits went well, I only get a little peach fuzz returning that is blonde and epilator takes care of. Bikini extended was different. I think they may have consistent employees now so this may be taken care of… Mine has turned out quite crooked since several people were involved. One was over crazy about lasering and did too much but got areas needed. Only saw her twice. Another one drew a triangle where she should laser, but a lot of that triangle I don’t grow dark hair in, and she excluded parts I did! I asked her to redraw it, to include where I did grow hair and exclude where I didn’t… And she refused! The surface area was the same, just in different places. Had to make her stop lasering the parts I didn’t need! No reason to go through pain if I didn’t need it there!
Anyway, I have a weird looking line now that requires shaving to be right.
If you are getting bikini be very clear about where. It’s too expensive unless you get a discount to accept the results with different people, and seriously, people grow hair in diverse patterns, why could I not get the same surface area done consistently in the same location??? I’m not willing to pay 2G to get it fixed right!!! Epilator will just have to do.

Loooooove this place! A year ago I saw a Groupon and after debating about it thought, «OK, I am NEVER gonna wish I had my underarm hair back.» Sessions are super quick and easy, the staff is awesome and worked with me when I had to do last minute appointment changes because of my crazy travel schedule, and I love being able to throw a tank top on ANY time I want without having to double check and shave. Never had a single reaction, pain free afterwards, close to home… just awesome! :)

I purchased a package from an online deal website and was excited b/​c this place is very close to the area in which I live & work. The staff is friendly and fast. I usually go on Saturdays and I’ve never had a problem getting an appt. I have completed my treatment and have decent results. My hair is thick and strong and it will probably take another round for better results. I have had laser done before and that is what I have been advised on in the past. Overall, great experience…

Like most on here I purchased a deal online through a company like L*ving S*cial or Gr*up*n.
The staff are amazing, Mark is very nice and not pushy at all. Seriously! They generate enough business where if you say «no» to more procedures he doesn’t hassle you over it. Which is comforting and lets you know they have your personal interest in hand. The procedure I received was 6 treatments for my underarms. Everytime I was in and out in less than five minutes for both underarms. There is little to no pain and Kerri is very attentive and super, super, sweet. So why only 2 stars? I finished all my treatments and my under arms at first were little to no hair. Then there were white hairs– still cool– I can live with that. THEN I shaved the white hairs and decided to forget about it. Well, at the pool a few weeks later my friend was like «Dang girl, didn’t you get your underarms in the shower too?» and I saw hair. The normal dark, prickly, unsightly hair. Now perhaps laser hair removal only works on some peole, perhaps some folks are just meant to be a fur beast, but while the team at Fountain Laser are great, and the manager is great– this just didn’t work out for me the way I expected.

I came here with a groupon purchase and I love it! The staff is very friendly and their machine squirts a burst of cool air so the pain is bearable. I wish they were closer to Gwinnett (where I reside) but worth traveling to! I saw less hair growth after just my second session and now, after 4 sessions, there’s barely any hair growth.

If you’re looking for a place with a state of the art laser to blast your hair follicles to kingdom come, The Fountain Laser Hair Removal is your place!!! I recently completed my third treatment (of 6) and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I literally have little to no hair grow back for the first 3 – 4 weeks after a treatment (they’re spaced 6 weeks apart) and when it does grow back it’s super fine and hardly visible. I’ve never been anywhere else for this type of procedure, so I have nothing to compare it to, but the laser itself is surprisingly comfortable. When I started going they mentioned something about a cooling blast that sprays simultaneously with the laser, so that probably has something to do with it. The «laser operators», I’m not sure what the technical term would be, are all super nice and QUICK! Which is the best part. I’m usually in and out in 5 minutes, although I guess that would depend on what part of your body your having laser modified. They also offer super flexible scheduling options (I go over my lunch break!) to work with the kind of insane schedules people have these days.
