The Salon Elegance

I wish I could give 100 stars. Sarah is a genius. I messed up my hair on my own (not of purpose of course!) and she fixed it each time. I dyed my hair black– and she got me back to blonde in no time. Then at one point I made the mistake of dying my hair orange. I don’t know what I was trying to do but Sarah got me back to looking like a normal person ASAP. Every time I go in she literally remembers everything about my life ! I know she has hundreds of clients so I am impressed. She’s so personable you feel like you’re just hanging out with your best friend. PLUS. She’s amazing at hair. I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else, to the point if she moved– I’m sure I would drive to her.

I had to write a review cause I called to make an apppointment… I am new to the area and was trying to find a new hairstylist. Well well well… so I called. mind you I had to call 3 times. guess she works by herself and do not have a receptionist… so I finally got a hold of her… she returned my call. as I had tried to book an apppointment on line. and imagine this… she request you GIVE HER credit card number to hold your appointment… excuse me??? I have been to many salons in my life. and NOBODY EVER, I MEAN EVER ASKED ME for my credit card number over the phone to schedule an appointment!!! I was STUNNED!!! It takes nerves I tell you, so after stating that I was not comfortable with this approach she simply said. sorry I need your credit CARD number in order to reserve you an appointment and especially for new clients, so I declined. and stated that I will look around… she said ok and hung up the phone without even saying ”goodbye”or thanks for considering our establishment… talk about another ”great class act”!!! not even polite enough with potential clients…
So… that being said… do you think I would even consider or recommend this place??? You ain’t getting a penny of my money if you treat people this way that is for sure!!! Wow… I’d stay stay away… this is not good business ethics that is for sure! I don’t even want to know the rest… RUN!

I went to Sarah after being new to the area and having a previous hair stylist dye my hair legitimately orange/​gold. Within just a couple of visits my hair is looking fabulous and Sarah was able to completely correct the brassy/​orange horror. She is super friendly and has a beautiful, relaxing salon environment :)

Sarah listened to what I wanted and did at fantastic job at a very affordable price! I have very long hair and usually get charged extra for that when I get it cut, but not with her. I will definitely be back!

Sarah is wonderful. She takes the time to listen to the frustrations I have with my hair, and the kind of look I’m going for, and she gives great suggestions. I’m always very happy when I walk out of her salon. And a bonus– she does free bang trims. She also provides great customer service, I always feel like I’m chatting with a girlfriend more than anything. She is also super helpful, I can call her with questions about styling products that I am thinking of buying, and she’s even picked up a product for me from her distributor that she didn’t carry in store. 5 stars!

I recently moved to the area and wanted to find a more inexpensive place. The first place that I went to here in Atlanta while very good, was completely out of control on price. Then I checked out Unilocal and saw that even though she had few reviews, Salon Elegance was rated 5 stars.
I loved her so much I almost thought of not writing about her since she is such a well-​kept secret. Sarah is wonderful! I went to get my roots done and came out with a completely new color that Sarah recommended. I’m glad she did. It’s the first time I’ve been able to get a professional opinion as to what color I could look good in. She worked efficiently, she had beer, wine and water to offer me and I felt very at home! She even managed to handle in a very professional way a customer who was, well, a bit off and overzealous about her political views.
I will definitely be back! She was wonderful and I highly recommend her!

Went yesterday on a groupon-​now deal and although I didn’t know that I was supposed to make an appointment she fit me in to her busy schedule! She was fast but never rushed! Friendly and most impotant… her work was amazing! loved her!

Sarah has been cutting and coloring my hair now for about two years. She is extremely friendly and outgoing which makes each appointment a joy to be at! She cares about her clients and this shows in her work! She is very knowledgeable when it comes to cutting/​coloring and with the products she uses!

I love this place. It is run by a single stylist from Louisiana who is a blast to be around. She cut two people hair while I was there (one man and one woman) and did an excellent job with both. I could tell she has been doing this a while as she was able to provide several helpful styling tips. She also gave me a 50% discount since it was my first visit. I will certainly be returning.
