Two back to back bad visits at this particular batteries plus. Last week I ordered a special battery. A few days later they called me to say it was ready. I went by there and they couldn’t find it. Have heard from them yet. Today I went online and made an appointment to have my iPad screen fixed. I called too just to make sure they had the part. The person on the phone seemed pre-occupied with someone else talking in the background. He said yes we have it. I went in to the store and was«greeted»(not really) he didn’t say anything just gave me a head nod that seemed to be something one of my homies would give me. I told my new homie that I was there for the 11 o’clock appointment to get my iPad fixed. A female employee somewhere else in the store yells to him … «Hey you know what your doing»?He says no and she had to walk him through how to look it up in the computer. She then came over to help him and they both decided they didn’t have the part and I would have to send it off to Alabama. Neither one of them seemed to have any customer service skills at all. So after two big letdowns I doubt I will use them again.

Tomorrow is here. There has been some happenings since my initial review of Batteries Plus on 28 January 2013. I went back into the store at the kind request of the store manager and experienced a complete 180 from my first visit. The counter was busy with customers and store clerks but when I walked in, I was acknowledged. A clerk smiled at me and nodded. He noticed that I was there and needed something. Before I could step up and ask for what was set aside for me, FRAN, came out of the back of the store and took care of my sale. She made eye contact, was friendly, professional, and efficient. I will return to this store and recommend it to anyone who needs a little more attention in purchasing a specific battery than what the large chain stores or online stores offer. Well worth the trip the second time around. Thank you Batteries Plus.
