I was honestly surprised at the quality of the food. I ordered a bowl of chowder and two pieces of the cod. I didn’t get the beer batter as I’m not a fan and I think panko is better in general. The chowder was the best chowder I’ve had in quite a long time. Id’ve liked to see larger clams, but all in all very good. The fish was good as well. I’m just happy they used panko instead of going straight for beer batter. At the end of the day it was very reasonably priced and you can’t got wrong with fried fish and chowder. If you’re not in the mood for any frilly nonsense, head on in for a good cup of hearty chowder that will leave you full.

The food was meh… The oysters were filled with sand and tasted like«the bottom of the sea». The fish tasted«fishy» and was over cooked. The salad looked like the cheese was shredded plastic. The salad dressing for the Ceaser salad was ridiculously water down. It was not money well spent.

Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Terrific fish & chips. Laid back casual atmosphere. Great for lunch.

This was the best dinner we had while we were in Seattle/Snohomish. We had fish and chips, oysters on the half shell, oyster chowder(omg yum), and the littlest lady had a chicken finger and chips. We also had a local hard cider and beer. Service was good, but the food was amazing. No clue what happened to some other reviewers, but I can tell you my experience was nothing but AWESOME. I so wish we had something like this near us. Very fresh and made with love for sure. I absolutely recommend this place! One note is that the 3yo’s food did only come with 1 chicken finger, so if your toddler has a big appetite, you may want to get a bigger meal. It was perfect for us though, as it was a pretty big chicken strip.

Came in on a weekday evening with plenty of options for seating. The fish house is nicely located on a corner street so there is plenty of people and car watching to be had. It’s not a big fish house so seating is limited. I recommend going on a warm sunny day and sitting out on the patio. For food I recommend the crab melt. The chopped bell peppers mixed with the crab were so fresh it made a huge impact on the melt. The cheese, bread/muffin, and crab itself were good too. Buttery goodness. 4 stars because the fish from the fish and chips was dry and little rubbery. The fries were delicious, freshly cut potatoes with the skin left on. Our waitress was friendly and provided good customer service. Definitely a good place to stop by and have a beer :)

My husband and I loved our Fish N Chips!!! He had the salmon and I had the cod and we shared. SO good! We sat outside, it was a beautiful sunny day and they had a guy playing guitar and singing. He was awesome! We will for sure come back again. Highly recommend it! Staff was friendly too!

Great little restaurant downtown Snohomish. The beer was cold, the fish fresh, the crab melt ONPOINT. My girlfriends parents(Ewa and Tom Buechner) know the owner Andy. who was friendly personable and made the experience that much better. We will definitely come back. Thanks

Nice atmosphere with good food, but a bit pricier than $$. Try the chowder and the seafood pasta.

I really don’t know how this place has such high stars, other than a great location. Went here yesterday and the food wad mediocre at best. The fish and chips were greasy and heavy and the fries were not very good. Not to mention we get the bill and it was $ 70!!! There were 3 of us that had fish and chips — no alcohol. Talk about expensive, greasy, fish & chips!!! We will not be back for sure!

Food is absolutely the best, fish is very good at this place they have a hang out spot, and their service someone takes forever all in all for take out so I would like to see improvements to that if I come here again for eating at this spot and if I buy a take out

The server was friendly and engaging when we first showed up. However, it took awhile to get menus so I figured service might not be top notch. We ordered the halibut fish and chips plus a salad we wanted to split. We never received the salad, any silverware, or the extra plate we requested. I ordered a glass of wine at the beginning and would have loved a second glass but was never offered a second, even though my glass was empty shortly after the food arrived. On a positive side, the halibut fish and chips were good. I’m disappointed in the service though which is too bad since the location is nice and has great outdoor seating.

The service is great — friendly, knowledgable and she was good about checking in. The food was ok… but for the prices, I really expected a lot more. I am not sure, but my fish was so hot that it had to have been microwaved — crazy hot. The cocktail sauce has a kick — definitely need to live horseradish. The hand cut fries were perfectly soft and a little greasy — the way I like them. I tried this place because of the great Unilocal reviews — but I’m not convinced. I may be back — when I have another $ 50 to experiment with.

…I’m not too happy. Spot prawns is the special today. I was really excited. It’s only 3 in the afternoon. They are OUT of it. Irritating.

Hubby and I went to Andy’s for the first time this weekend. It was ok. I ordered the crab melt. And I was disappointed. I had asked if anything came with it and was told no — so I knew that when I ordered it. So I thought for $ 15 at least I would get a good amount of crab meat. But nope. I got one english muffin split in two with a very small amount of shredded crab meat. I know crab meat is very expensive right now — but it was the size of a small appetizer. Maybe in the past you would get more crab(from the photos on Unilocal it looked like it used to be bigger with actual lumps of crab meat) — but not this time. And it had filler — lots of peppers and green onion. And it needed some black pepper and old bay — it was a bit bland. So if you can’t put on much crab due to the cost right now — at least put a salad or some coleslaw on the plate to make it seem like a meal. I would not get that again. We also tried the battered onion rings and they were… a bit odd. They were huge — but it was a lot of batter. And inside it was like a doughnut — there was a large amount of dough inside by the onion. Very weird — I have never seen or tasted an onion ring like that. But the tartar sauce and ranch that came with the rings was very good. On the positive side — the hubby did enjoy his cioppino. Until he ate the crab meat. He ate the crab meat last and he said it was insanely salty. And my husband loves salt — so if he said it was too salty — something was off. I don’t know if they boil their crab in heavily salted water — but crab is inherently salty — so you don’t need to do that. But other than the crab meat — he liked it.

Yep, I’m a fan. I was on the hunt for great fish and chips and decided to venture out from my usual spots around Bellevue and Seattle. Andy’s Fish House popped up, so off I went as the weather was conducive to such a journey. Sat outside, and was pleasantly surprised when I went to check in that they offer a free cup of chowder for said check in. I started with that cup, and it was great. Full of clams, not too heavy with a nice balance of flavor. Soon after, my fish and chips arrived. Fish was incredibly fresh and the batter was nice and crispy without being over breaded. Andy’s was a drive from my downtown Bellevue residence, but it was totally worth the trip. If you’re ever out in the Snohomish area, be sure to stop in for some great seafood.

The fresh oysters are awesome so go get some. Anything fresh. I mean fresh fish is the best. Didn’t you guys used to have the fish out at the counter on ice displayed? I liked that if it was a thing. It should be a thing(again?). Can you get stout at least in bottles? Stout goes good with oysters!

Great end to our business day in this quaint antique-ville. When we said we wanted fish, several shop owners recommended this place. We were greeted by someone who seemed to be the owner. He asked if we had been here before and we told him it was our first visit. He told us they were known for all the fries options but there were also plenty of great grilled and blackened options for the fish. We opted for grilled halibut tacos. They were served on fresh corn tortillas thick enough to support the perfectly grilled fish, chipotle sauce and cabbage. Warning, it is still a bit messy and scrumptiously napkin worthy. Note there is bit of spice in the smokey chipotle so if you are very squeamish on spicy… ask for it on the side. I loved it. We asked for extra crispy fries and they delivered. Wish something bad for us didn’t taste so good. Definitely will be back on our next trip.

OMGumbo! Fish-a-Licious! I ordered the Gumbo — ’twas a special of the day! And oh boy — it was«special»…it was spicy, warm, full of seafood, sausage, rice, and… comfort food — at it’s finest. My husband ordered the Halibut & Chips, and added Fried Oysters to his meal. It was served with cocktail, and tartar sauce. The fish was fried perfectly… didn’t have that«heavy greasy feel» — My hubby doesn’t usually like french fries, but he liked these ones! My husband has also never had Fried Oysters before, but says he would«definitely order them again!!» Our girls(age 8&4) — shared an adult size portion of the Popcorn Shrimp & Chips. It is served with tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. They enjoyed it… my eight-year old said it was«a little salty» — but, she’s eight, and not a foodie. :/ Beer is available, on tap & bottled. Put this place on your«to do» list! :) We look forward to coming back!
