Ruffles & Rust Square

Oh that was good.
Ordered hand made white banners with silver glitter.
All was completed in time and perfectly added to the holiday décor 2015.
I loved the stairs going up to the brick wall opening with luxe posh curtain, so chic couture!

Five stars for product; –2 for terrible customer service. 1 star overall.
We walked in at about two minutes to 5pm (first time we’d been in, so didn’t realize they closed at 5pm) to the clerk behind the counter arguing with someone on the phone. Something about «a temporary job.» I’m hoping the temporary job is working at this store — seriously. She did get off the phone to greet us and ask if we we’re looking for something specific. Apparently, that’s code for hurry the hell up. We said no, that we were just browsing. We browsed for maybe another minute, then she said that they closed at 5 and she had somewhere to be. I was speechless.
Needless to say, we left and despite the cool things they sell; we won’t be back. Oh, and I should add that it was my bday and the horrible customer service made me quite grumpy for the rest of the afternoon. Way to go.
Negative word of mouth travels faster than positive…

Great staff and large selection of items old and new. Thanks for then new light fixture, Timi. We’ll see you again.
Update: turns out the light fixture we purchased had a manufacturer’s defect. We called the store and they blew us away with how efficiently, kindly and quickly they resolved the issue. This has turned into not only one of my favorite shopping experiences, but my best customer service experience of the year.

I visited Ruffles and Rust Square last weekend for the first time. When my fiancé and I entered the store, we immediately saw many items that fit our upcoming wedding’s theme. We were thrilled. The team there, including Timi, were incredible. We made a pile of items on the counter as we continued to shop. When we were ready to pay, they offered to wrap each item and have us swing by to pick it up after we were done our remaining shopping. It was wonderful because we had several more stores to go to, as well as grabbing lunch, so it was nice to not have to carry so many items as we walked around Snohomish.
When we went back to get our items, Timi helped us walk our purchases to our car. She handed us T-​shirts from the store with a congratulatory cigar for our wedding. We were so surprised! (And it was our first wedding gift!)
It means so much to us to receive impeccable service and the incredible touch at the end to surprise and delight us. They’ve made loyal customers out of us from one visit. The store is awesome, the offering is beautiful and the servicing is unmatched.
