Decided on a whim to try the place cuz the menu sounds so good. Well it definitely delivered! The food was delicious! I had the short ribs and hubby had a Combo beef soup… oh the soup!!! So fricken good! 5 stars, well deserved!

Highly recommend this yummy spot. The other reviews are all spot on, this place is a hidden gem for sure. The bulgogi is delicious! In all, great food. We will be back!

OMG where do I start… everything is freaking fantabulous here. The galbi and soondooboo combo are delish and an excellent value. The fried chicken wings made spicy or not spicy are piping hot, crunchy and yum! The yoogehjang also on point. Love the service, the lady there is so sweet. You get a free yogurt drink at the end which is a nice palate cleanser. My son loves this place b/c of the galbi and also because the lady always remembers to give him the special kids utensils with a cartoon owl on them.

This little gem is in a strip mall by Fred Meyer in Snohomish Station. The Gal Bi is always my favorite and the Pan Jun seafood pancake. You are not going to get all the thrills of a Korean BBQ with the built in BBQ at the table. You will however get great fresh food. Service is a bit odd sometimes but I just strike it up to quirky. They also have the Korean Soju and a rasberry wine that is amazing… I love the Ban Chan

Great hidden bargain. Tofu soups are priced perfectly for a good quality meal. Kim chee pancakes just the right amount of greasy for me. Service is casual family style so don’t expect a rush service for your timeframe. Good veggie and gluten free options.

What an offer to the area of Snohomish! I was surprised to hear that there was a proper Korean restaurant in Snohomish! I had to come try it out. Service: Friendly and attentive. Checked on us often and made sure we were taken care of. .. like I was at her home. Atmosphere: Clean and open. It’s just a small square so that helps provide better private service as well as upkeep. I wouldn’t want to see how busy they get on popular days! but overall felt welcoming. Food Quality: Pan Chan — nice variety of side dishes including radish kimchee that day! My favorite! The fish cake was flavorful, and other dishes were to their authentic flavors. Kalbi Chim — Wow, meaty, soft, and that heavy soy flavor made my mouth really happy. Well made! Bulgogi — Also flavorful and I enjoyed the sauté with onions topped with egg slices. Also came with noodles which was a pretty darn good treat with that sauce! KimChee soup — Unfortunate that the amount of soup was not abundant since I am a soup monster and it was evaporating as soon as it came to the table. I also missed having rice cake slices in my kimchee soup too. But the amount of other content surely made up for that! Lots of KimChee! Woah! I mean, how do they not charge me more just for having $ 6 worth of just kimchee in there?! I ate them all though so I totally appreciated it. it seems that she just gave me unlimited rice as well! None of that silly $ 2 per bowl charges from many other restaurants. C’mon,. . it’s rice at a Korean place! People from the orient will want lots of rice right?! She was very generous with all items. Price: The price was comparable to other Korean places I have been to in Washington State. The amount of food and quality definitely makes it well worth the price of admission! Conclusion: I am a super fan and will hope to visit very often like your long lost son. Thanks for the meal and experience.

Quite good and authentic. NOMGS. prices are not too high. The ownee should advertise NOMSG so more people would try this restaurant. Definitely will come back to try more food.

My wife and I have been here a few times. The food and service are always excellent. Diverse menu, and great prices. Dinner for 2 will run you around $ 25 plus tip. We always leave stuffed and talk about how great the place is for a few days afterward. It’s really small, though, but for a smaller storefront tacked on to Fred Meyer, it’s pretty good.

Ordered the spicy pork and the pan fried seafood pancake. So good! Called to place an order to go and was ready for pick up within 10 minutes! Owner was sweet and remembered us from last time. Will be back again for sure!

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. The food is consistently good(although their ban chan is hit and miss). Their bulgogi is country style(with veggies/stir fried vs grilled/broiled) which is not a bad thing but may be helpful to know before ordering. The owner/cook is very sweet but I think she does everything which is why service can be slow sometimes. I do appreciate the little things like well packed to go orders. They make sure the soups are wrapped separately and put cardboard at the bottom so things don’t tip over. They even pack the ban chan which some other places don’t so that’s plus. Love that I can get good comfort food close by. It’s a little pricey but there are so few Korean restaurants north of Lynnwood and this one is good so worth it.

Jong Ga is easy to miss. I had to drive around just looking for this restaurant. The dining room is small, seats maybe about 30 people. We ordered our usual favorite Korean dishes… Hae Mul Pa Jun(fried seafood pancake with green onions — a bit greasy, but good); Gal Bi Jjim(braised beef short ribs — very good with nice seared edges) and Bul Go Gi. We also tried something new — Modeum Jun(pan-fried peppers, with pork, vegetables and tofu). It was a rather slow night so our server was also cooking(she may have been the owner). She was very friendly, courteous and helpful with the menu. Our food came out within 10 minutes and everything was hot and delicious.

We’ve been loyal customers since they opened about 2 years ago. Owner Kim is always in the kitchen as well as out in front serving customers. She is the definition of «service with a smile». I can’t say enough about the authentic Korean cuisine. They have an exceptional menu filled with traditional Korean dishes like Jjigae, Bul Go Gi, Bi Bim Baps. They have a huge variety of Jjigaes and Bi Bim Baps. My favorite is the combinations on the back of the menu. A little sampler of all of Kims’ favorites. Their corn tea is also fabulous. This is a great place for people in the area to be introduced to Korean cuisine. They won’t be disappointed!

This place is legit. I’ve been to South Korea and all the dishes I’ve had at Jong Ga are authentic. It doesn’t get more real. Staff is friendly. Service is fast. Prices are fair. Lunch specials are daily. If you have never had Korean food, try the bulgogi. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had!

Tasty food, incredibly friendly service. It’s a shame this is so tucked away in the strip mall — I have a feeling it’s not well known. It’s the best Korean food I’ve found north of Lynnwood.

These guys have a great location but the visibility could be better. If you visit this Fred Meyer, even regularly, there’s a decent chance that you never even noticed this was here. The sign isn’t tiny, but it’s certainly not the biggest in this parking lot. They’re down at the south end of FM, near the garden center. They have a pleasant west-facing dining room with about 18 tables or so. It’s kind of the standard layout for a little restaurant in a strip mall, and the tables and chairs all feel familiar too. But it’s a nice-enough casual place; you can bring anyone here for dinner, provided they’re eager enough for Korean food. The people here are super nice, and the food is really good. We had the short ribs and the spice pork. They came out with kimchi and three other ban chan. Both dishes were on the sweet side, clearly cooked with a fair bit of sweetener blended in to the sauces/seasonings. The short ribs had a nice caramelized sugar finish to the exterior, and came out in a big stone bowl at a rolling boil. Gorgeous presentation. They cooled quickly to edible temp. Great bowl of rice next to them – that, plus some of the kimchi, leavened the sweetness to some degree. The spicy pork was a bit less sweet, and seasoned a bit more spicily. Both dishes were delicious, and easily worth repeats(especially if you’re in the mood for a wee bit of the sweet). There are a couple dozen other dishes on the menu, and all looked worth exploring. We would have dug in on the soup, which sounds like a specialty of the house, but it was a hot and muggy day and this place faces the sunset, which was making it even hotter(and less of a day to be appetized by soup). Prices here are very good – two entrees came to less than $ 30. We didn’t get drinks or sides, but, still, a great deal – especially since those were the two most expensive items on the menu. Can’t wait for some return visits.

This is by far the best Korean restaurant that I have EVER been to. They have the nicest staff, the cleanest tables and the BESTFOOD. This restaurant ranks within my top three. I always get the Tofu & Vegetable Bibimbap. Wow, was I surprised that a place in Snohomish had vegetarian options. They make the Bibimbap very traditional. It is the crispy style with mouth watery bits of rice that has been fried by the Earthenware Pot. They even infuse their rice with what I suspect to be purple cauliflower purée, very high end, and very nutritious. All of the vegetables are OBVIOUSLY fresh, and succulent, and the tofu is always delicious. But wait there is more! Get the tea, it is amazing! And with certain orders, you get sides. Every time I’ve been their they’ve served a tofu and sauce dish, kimchi, a Korean Salad with egg and apple, and sweet potatoes. They are amazing. This is without a DOUBT the gem of the town, you will not be dis-satisfied. You will leave full, happy, and ready to be a returning customer!!!

Jong Ga was absolutely amazing. We ordered the spicy chicken appetizer and some sort of seafood pancake. We had a 3 spiciness so even though I couldn’t handle it the tears and sweat were definitely worth it! So yum much delish!
