It was weeks before the job was started and then they were here for two days. After they packed up and left, we called Mike the owner and talked about every aspect being sub par and phoned in and incomplete. He attempted to say that the job was large, but he had actually been at our house multiple times to refine his estimate, and it was not so large that it was like a 10 man job for days. Even if it was, he could have said something before starting the job and basically mascaraing it. We could have easily gone with another company who would have gotten the job done. We basically have issues with everything they worked on. Here are some examples: –Much of the debris was simply moved, including a lot of rocks which were pushed out towards my fence and then they tried to hide it with the gravel. They extend perhaps 8 inches up the fence which is just going to make the boards rot. On the other side of the fence it isn’t much better. –Rather than clean and prep for new beauty bark they piled it on thick, so it also is up against the fence and spilling over the other side onto the sidewalk. They attempted to contain it with edging, but they couldn’t do that right either. There are gaps and it goes up and down as needed to contain the piles of bark, including the entire edging being above ground level, leaning at an angle straining to hold bark in. –The grading was the bare minimum. We have a transition from a newly graveled area to a patio. Rather than grade it with the rocks in mind, the rocks are just piled on the dirt so they end up just sliding onto the patio concrete. To do it right would have taken minutes and they couldn’t be bothered. –The pressure washing is a mixed bag. The sidewalk is a mess, one patio is actually dirtier than it was before being washed, and the other was not touched at all. Much of the debris from pressure washing was blown right onto our front yard, one of the areas that’s supposed to be cleaned up. –They pruned the bush and tree in our front yard but did not remove the branches, it’s just sitting on top of the new beauty bark. –The gravel on our side yard is so piled up that the gate does not shut. The one guy left pressure washing packed his stuff and left without finishing the job at 1:30 on Tuesday. We called and questioned Mike to which he responded he’d come and check the job the next day and that it was«too big of a job.» It’s Friday and we have not seen him yet and he has not responded to our email communication including pictures of the«after» job done by his crew.
