The Riverside Gallery

So happy to have this in town! I bought a groupon for classes intended for my young daughter, and found out later I didn’t read the description — it was for adult classes w/​wine. Elaine was very gracious and let us use it anyway, and then did a marvelous job helping my budding artist learn a few tricks of the trade. I have a fine art lover for life I’m sure, and this experience has played a big part in encouraging her. We will definitely be back!

A friend found a Groupon online for this place, and we came with a group and took a painting class on a Friday evening which was accompanied by a glass of wine. We had SUCH a great time. I’ve always wanted to try one of these classes, and I’ve heard great things from friends who have tried it.
We had a choice of painting a few different things — a wine bottle, abstract art of the person next to you, and there was a third option that I can’t remember. We opted to paint our neighbor… and we had such a blast doing it. We all claimed to be missing creative genes but somehow, all of the paintings turned out awesome. I think the wine helped.
Elaine was instructive, supportive, and a great «paint slave.» What a great way to spend an evening!
