Nice authentic Mexican food Baja style; not tex Mex. Had the fish tacos and the fish itself was excellent. Not cheap but not unreasonable either. Still don’t have their liquor license in case that’s important to you. Also no free/extra chips beans or rice but if you want a good meal with quality ingredients this fits the bill

Caadxi Oaxaca is charming – a welcome dining option that serves memorable and delicious food. You may see dishes that look like those of standard Mexican restaurants. But try the ceviche for its fresh coolness. Or the enmoladas, in a complex mole sauce made from an old family recipe. In everything, you taste careful preparation and flavor more than surface heat. Caadxi Oaxaca’s atmosphere is both efficient and relaxing, with a staff that demonstrates genuine interest in your pleasure. We went to try a new place, liked what we found and most certainly will be returning.

Fantastic little Mexican place in Snoqualmie. A little hidden. We were heading to the market for a snack and figured we would stop in. Glad we did. Excellent food, reasonable prices. Chips were fresh and the guac was great. I don’t remember the name of what I had. Steak and something but it was great. No liquor license yet but they said soon!

My wife and I ate here a few days ago. We both loved what we ate! Their red mole is Amazing! That alone is worth a visit. I also really enjoyed their hot red salsa, nice heat and deep flavor. Well done! Nice to have a great Mexican/Oaxacan place to eat at in Snoqualmie!

I’ve only eaten here once so far and it was when they first opened(no sign so it was hard to find!). Service was really good and the food was different from your typical Mexican restaurant but that’s why I wanted to try it! The food was really tasty and I will try this place again next time I feel like Mexican. I probably won’t bring my daughter as she’s a refried bean and cheese burrito kid and I don’t think she’d appreciate the different tastes available here. Give this place a try if you’re looking for Mexican that isn’t layered in greasy cheese and beans!

Caadxi Oaxaca has a warm and comfortable ambiance, is run by very nice people, and the food is authentic and delicious. I’m not normally much of a red meat eater, but their carne asada is amazing. But the true test of a Mexican restaurant(in my opinion) is the chips and salsa. Theirs are quite possibly the best chips I’ve ever had north of the border. They have 4 different salsas available, each extremely fresh and with its own wonderful flavor. You won’t find authentic Oaxacan Mexican food like this in many places, other than Mexico(and maybe Ballard).

Really enjoyed the dishes(Tamale and Enchiladas). Great décor and music. Service was a bit timid and slow for a Saturday at noon. Overall an excellent, authentic meal which left us satisfied without the typical heavy«Mexican food» feeling afterwards.

Best new restaurant in the valley. The food is flavorful without being over seasoned or greasy. There are many menu items I have never seen at American Mexican restaurants. We tried the molotes appetizer and I almost died of happiness. They are like Mexican samosas: sub in a crunchy corn flour shell and chorizo for the peas and curry in a samosa and there you go, you have the new snack you will be craving the the next time you have the munchies. We over — ordered and figured we would take home the leftovers, but the mole rojo was so good we ordered an extra side of(delicate, fresh and homemade) tortillas instead, and gobbled it down. We couldn’t stop eating and I was tempted to lick the plate. Also: free hotchata refills. Please eat here — often– so this delicious food stays in our small town!

We’ve been here several times since they opened, and have really enjoyed everything! Love the carne asada/tacos, as well as the chips and guac! My son loved the kid’s quesadilla w/beans and rice(off menu right now). They forgot to bring us our chips and guac one time, but service has been pretty good otherwise. I also appreciate the numerous gluten free food items on the menu. I’m excited to go back! Although I’m nervous about this place getting too popular… it’s pretty small: P

Great new authentic Mexican restaurant in Snoqualmie. I am from Southern California so there is a group of us that are always on the look out for authentic Mexican food. Our table got a selection of tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas and carne asada. The enchiladas had a good amount of chicken for the price, but needed more sauce and flavor. The chips could benefit from some salt and the guacamole could use a lot more flavor. Some of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to make their guacamole table side. For it being a smaller, more intimate restaurant, this would be a great addition to the experience. Their salsa bar provided a wide range of temperatures and flavor. Prices were reasonable and our kids enjoyed it. We will go back for sure.

Have gone in a couple times since they opened. Friendly and the food is pretty authentic… definitely not Americanized Mexican. My only request is that they get some music going… My biggest pet peeve going into independent restaurants is when there is no music! But that’s just me!

Thrilled that a place like this has opened in the valley! Service was great and food was delicious. Prices are reasonable and we were impressed with the variety of options on the menu. I ordered the Carne Asada and loved it but am excited to get back here to try other things as well. They can’t serve alcohol yet so no cervesa or margaritas but they said that will be coming soon. Until then, enjoy some horchata or soda. Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed. P. S. — if you are looking for gigantic portions of melted cheddar, refried beans and Americanized Mexican food, this is not your place.

Authentic(or as close to authentic as we’ve had in Washington) Mexican food! The food is fresh, delicious, spicy, and amazing! I had the vegetarian tostadas and loved them. The husband had green chicken enchiladas and claimed that they were some if the best he’s had. One child had Carne Asada and ate every last bite, the other ate a HUGE beef and black bean burrito and said it was delicious. They have a fresh salsa bar with four different salsas including a yummy pico. It’s about time we have some decent options in Snoqualmie! No cheddar cheese or sour cream here! Come here, eat the delicious food, leave happy!

Have you eaten at Caadxi in Snoqualmie yet? You should. This place is for real. My daughter had a veggie burrito(off menu) and said it was amazing. My husband had a steak burrito and said it was excellent. Even My 10 year old who really only likes waffles loved her«Niña» burrito(also off menu). I ordered the cheese and pepper tamale. The flavors were really good but the texture wasn’t what I’m used to. The masa was thick, the chunks were big, and the cheese wasn’t melty. Again, the flavors were really really good and don’t get me wrong, I ate that whole thing, it just want exactly what I like so next time I’ll try something else. The house made pico and salsas were super good and the chips and guacamole were a steal at $ 5. Go there and get food!

Found this new, family-owned, authentic(truly authentic) Mexican restaurant when all the nearby restaurants were full the week of Christmas. Really surprised by the great food, speed, and friendliness. They are still new and working out some of the bugs(wrong food served, etc.), but they responded really quickly and graciously. I ordered the flank steak and the taste was great and the portion size was just right. My 13-year-old said it was the best burrito(steak) she has ever had and she doesn’t really like steak anything. Price is probably $, but considering the cost of some items including chips & guac(not sure if you get free chips alone), might be closer to $$(depending on the $ scale). Once they work out some of the new restaurant bugs, I’ll be happy to reconsider five stars. If you’re looking for the typical Tex-Mex, smothered in cheese, unlimited bowls of chips restaurant, this may not be your place. But as for my family and me, including children ranging from the ages of 13 – 8, we will definitely be back.

Authentic, delicious, lovely presentation, locally owned. I tried this new, tiny place which shares a building with the Snoqualmie Market across the street from the historic train depot for a take-out dinner for my family of four, including two school-aged kids. This is not your typical Mexican-American restaurant, instead has a smaller offering but of authentic fare. We tried the tacos de pescado(fish tacos), tamale de raja(a vegetarian tamale), chilaquiles(chips smothering in sauce, mexican cheese [I think Cotija] and served with two fried eggs), Burrito de Caadxi with no meat(rice, beans in a tortilla), guacamole. It was all amazing. The chips and tortillas are hand made. The serving of guacamole was a huge size to feed the whole family. My kids are so picky and usually turn up their noses at burritos, such as those at Taco Del Mar, but I got the Burrito de Caadxi for them, anyway, to try. They both loved it. The steamed white rice is sticky and slightly sweet, it sits in your mouth perfectly well with the black beans. I will definitely be going back and recommending it to my friends.
