All the taste of the cheapest frozen grocery store pizza with none of the convenience! The great thing about frozen grocery store pizza is that even though it often doesn’t taste the best, you can just grab it out of the freezer and go do something else in the comfort of your own home while it cooks for 15 minutes. No so with Sahara. Similar taste and yet you have to drive there and then sit and wait in a dimly lit place for really not very tasty pizza. Here are some details of my visit: It was late. I was hungry. Not much else was open. Then I saw this place. Yay pizza! — I thought. Opening the door gives a feeling of being transported back to the early 80s. Not the 80s as it was, however, but the 80s as it would be today if it had just stood still and rotted for 35 years. When you first walk in through the old door, you see the old bowling alley. On the right there is pizza. The two seem like different buildings accidentally smooshed together. The dining area buildout seemed a bit home spun, but hey ok I can look past anything for good pizza. The kitchen, however, had that combination of austere fluorescent overhead work lighting and shadows in the corners coupled with all around dinginess that is not what you want to see when ordering food, but I was really damn hungry so my judgement wasn’t very good, so I ordered anyway. My friend and I each ordered a pizza. Let me just say that I love pizza. I like all kinds of pizza but I just want it to be decent(e.g. at least a 6 out of 10). I ordered a 12″ Sahara Pizza. From the menu, the mix of ingredients, Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, Onions, Bell Peppers, seemed interesting. Let me just say that I was sorely disappointed. The crust was a not either deep dish or crispy nor particularly chewy like any of the various good forms of pizza crust can be. No. It wasn’t cardboard but it was just barely better. This crust is perfectly circular and has little lines depressed in the bottom at regularly spaced intervals. That’s because its obviously made at a factory someplace. The sauce was lacked the tangy acidity, and balance of herbs of a good pizza sauce and the toppings were of low quality and particularly tasty. I would rate this pizza a 2 out of 10, with the best frozen pizzas in the supermarket being 3 – 4 as a benchmark. The Good: — This place is open later than some of the other options in the area — Its cheap! — You won’t have to wait long in line as their likely won’t be one. Bottom Line: Given the choice to skip dinner or do it again, I would likely skip.

Great pizza inside a Mom and Pop 8 lane neighborhood bowling alley. Had the Landmark… excellent! Reasonably priced and super yummy.

my son and I stopped in on Saturday to bowl and have pizza. Got there when they opened(11:00am) had the place to ourselves. The service was good, very friendly. Got a lane by the hour, very reasonable. Ordered a pizza and pitchef of soda. Pizza came out piping hot and soda had refills on the pitcher. The bowling lane are old fashioned and you have keep score old school(kinda fun brain teaer). All in all real nice time and good food.

I am torn, but sorry guys but this may be my last order— if it ever arrives. I received a call a few months back saying we hadn’t ordered in a while and invited us back. So recently during kitchen remodel we gave them a try. I love the fact they have pasta and the fettuccine is delicious. However two times in a row they forgot part of the order and both times the salad was limp and old. After the first one I figured it could have been an off day but twice says it just not their thing. So tonight we ordered some of the pasta for an easy dinner. Love ordering online. Placed the order, got the confirmation stating delivery at 7. At 7:30, I politely called to check on the status thinking I’m not totally confident in automated systems. I was met with a very terse reply from the girl that answered the phone stating that online orders take an extra 20 minutes! I replied Ok, I was only going by the delivery time that I was given in the confirmation. I asked if she had any idea how much longer and was told she didn’t know maybe 15 more minutes because they are slammed. Now, 45 minutes past the time… Sounds like they need additional and friendlier help. *** Order arrived 1 hour late. Pasta was still delicious(although only warm), small pizza was cold… very cold, like cheese hardened cold. They gave us a card for free wings or cheesy bread on next order. :/

Not great pizza and dirty! It didn’t help that I had a bad experience at the bowling alley attacked but this food didn’t enhance my experience. They are remodeling so hopefully that will help. It is cleaner than the bowling alley but definitely felt like I needed to have hand sanitizer every bite. We couldn’t finish the pizza because of how awful it tasted.

Place is filthy. Seems like they recruited a bunch of Meth– Heads to work in this establishment. Pizza use to be good 10 years ago. It now blows and tastes like out of the can crap. Dirty, un-hygenic employees, and poor food. Not recommended… And I’m a life long local.

Is it just me or is this place filthy? I have a feeling the lights in the dining room are dimmed for a reason. Dirty floors, sticky high chairs, tables chairs and booths have seen better days. I made the mistake of going to the restroom to wash my hands before the pizza. I think I felt dirtier just walking in there. You have to wonder if the lack of detail and cleanliness also carries into the kitchen. I can deal with the fact that it is in an older building shared with a bowling alley but that doesn’t mean it has to be dirty. Girl working the counter was nice. Pizza was ok. My kids loved it. Will I be back? Nope. I feel more comfortable dining at a restaurant that takes the time to clean up from time to time. I shudder thinking about what the kitchen might look like

So they have a delivery driver that will tell you he is the owner of the business, but he is not. And he is still employed there, as far as I am aware. I have been told no different by anyone. Nor have I been contacted by the company since the following incident: We have been happy in our dealings with Sahara Pizza Snoqualmie for approximately 18 years since we moved into the valley. We loved the fact they delivered tasty, mostly hot pizza and other delicious goodies to our neighborhood when the local pizza place doesn’t come up here(They meet us at the school bus turnaround). Said delivery driver told me appr 4 months ago that they no longer deliver to my house(last place at end of road, North Bend)(this was on a Tuesday after delivering here the previous Thursday). I said thank you we will find our pizza another way. Two-ish months ago, I decided to call and see if by chance Sahara would deliver to the school bus turnaround as well. When a gentleman answered the phone, I stated«since you don’t deliver to my house anymore, would you…» To which I was interrupted with«who told you that? It’s not true. Of course we still deliver you remember the persons name?». Of course I don’t but that was good with me because now I get to order my beloved pizza and get it delivered again. Yay me. Glad I called. 1 hour and fifteen minutes later my dogs bark once. I think yay pizza is here. I go out onto my deck and then to my front door. No one in my driveway or at my door. Five minutes go by. Dogs bark one more time. Once. I go onto my deck again. Nope. Still no one. I left the deck door open and then I hear a vehicle spinning its wheels. THEN I HEARDANOBVIOUSLYSCARED, FRANTICANDTERRIFIEDMALEPERSONFERVENTLYSCREAMFORHELP, HELP I’M STUCK then a few expletives. I told him to hang on I would come help him, since I figured out the PIZZADELIVERYGUYWASTHEONESCREAMINGLIKE A FRIGHTENEDGIRLBEINGCORNEREDBYTHETOWNPERVINANALLEYAFTERDARK. He had driven past my house(never in 18 years has anyone delivering anything done this). he had to really maneuver past the corner of my deck to not hit it and take it down. then he drove down an unmaintained pretty obvious quad trail. As I approached said delivery driver, he screamed this is why I told you we don’t deliver here anymore. Totally invalid statement. «We» obviously never delivered here before that day. I told him to take it up with the owner. he screamed i am the owner! told him I didn’t understand why he would drive past the house. He said it looked like a barn, and yep, he is right. Our HOUSE is shaped like a barn. I asked why he didn’t get out and knock, he never answered me, he just started telling me how it was my fault and then he disrespectfully raised his voice. That was when I decided I had enough of his arguing and blaming me for his poor decision-making process. I told him not too politely to find his own way out of his predicament!(I could tell that he was not stuck on the road, he scared himself into being stuck). I have pictures. I have videos as well. I could have driven it out myself. I even had friends(aka, witnesses) come over to see it while he left to get help. 3.5HOURSLATER and several trucks and several men one guy drove it halfway out, then another truck and more men pulled it up the rest of the way. I called the person that I ordered from and told them what the delivery guy/girl said about being the owner and not delivering here anymore. Then I told him as the owner of a company if anyone that worked for me ever behaved in that fashion they would need to find other employment right then and there. No one represents me but me unless I tell them to.(No one that works for me would actually be that stupid). He asked what could he do to make this right-some free pizzas? Yah, that’s a great idea. Lets have the delivery guy come back and bring me a pizza. iI believe theres nothing on there that shouldnt be on ANYONESPIZZA! No thanks. I am done with Sahara in Snoqualmie.

Yes, here for pizza. Here for lunch. The pan pizza was nice and cheesy. Lunch specials, with a soda. Reasonable price for a one topping. For lunch it isn’t that bad. I’d eat here again. You can get pizza, and beer, with a pint of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Worth the wait. Plenty of parking, not far from the falls. Plan to bowl too. The cool lighting, was for the Night bowling.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I like their pizza. They have changed owners I think. The place has gone down hill. I used to get the best customer service their. Not so much now. They’re employees try hard though. I love Dave. He is the best! Btw if you have teens I wouldn’t let them hang out here. Drugs are a problem here. Well in their parking lot. Under age drinking in parking lot.

My ladyfriend is from Snoqualmie originally so I’ve spent a lot of time there. She used to work at this place back in high school. We usually stop in here when ever we’re in town. This is a true American pizza place in the sense of big pizzas, lots of cheese, lots of options. It’s not gonna blow your mind(this isn’t a Neopolitan pizza for sure) but it’s gonna leave you pretty satisfied. Also I’m pretty sure it’s the only worthwhile pizza in town. Also, bowling! Come on, what’s not to like?

This will be the second time trying this place since we want to support places in our area. 1 Word… Horrible! SUMMARY: They honestly call this place a pizza place? Really?! Come on! There is better pizza out the back of a truck or in the frozen food section of the grocery. The crust was rubbery, tough, and tasteless. The sauce was bland and thick. The cheese was oily and needed salt. How do businesses like these survive? It has to be because it is in a bowling alley and drunk people buy their horrible food. I could be completely wasted and still not eat at this place… CONCLUSION: They could make better pizza just by actually MAKINGTHEPIZZA. Everything is pre-made and through a quick convection oven. Don’t waste your time and your hard earned money!

I love their bread and some of the pizzas we’ve ordered have been great. I’m from Ohio and am used to some really great pizza options there. We are limited in Snoqualmie, WA, but the views and the surroundings here are a great trade-off for sub-par pizza.

If you are out late in Snoqualmie and you do want to get creative about what to do, you might very well find yourself in Sahara or the bowling alley to which it is attached, as I have on three or four December occasions over the past three or four years. Sahara has a certain charm, but is easy to read as a bit of a dump, especially based on my most recent visit. In the past, the little pizzeria had a couple of booths and decent pizza and cheese bread at affordable prices and, most importantly, late into the night. When I went a couple of weeks ago, I found the booths replaced by a pool table surrounded by a bunch of kids too young to play pool at Smokey Joe’s(where they will all surely migrate in a few years). Sahara seemed dirtier, and the greasiness of the pizza was much higher than I remembered in the past. It tasted fine, but it wreaked havoc on my stomach. Too bad, because this used to be a nice place to pop into for some food and bowling-pin-shaped bottles of beer after SFB closed for the night.

Pizza isn’t that great. It’s not that inexpensive. And it’s not what I’d call clean: We’ve seen the guys making pizza alternately eating the toppings as they throw them on the pizzas they are prepping for the oven. But, it is attached to a bowling alley and they serve Snoqualmie Brewing’s beer. so this elevates them up to a two star. I’d only eat there, or oder their pizza to go if I needed to bowl and drink beer, or all other pizza places around here shut down.
