2÷12÷15: Purchased Deluxe Fisherman’s Pie w/a side salad(to go) for $ 10.81. The pastry on the pot pie was really good. The filling, however, was a joke. It’s supposed to have COD and SHRIMP and corn and bacon. There was no cod and no shrimp — –I looked. I think it may have been clam chowder before the clams are put in. (I detected no clams, either) The side salad consisted of 1 cup of cut-up romaine and ONE, small cherry tomato. BTW, since 1÷1÷15 this Indian casino now charges a «tribal sales tax» on all food and beverages(which is something like 8+%!!!

I’ve grabbed the Duck Banh-Mi sandwich here a few times. The duck is very lean and the vegetable slaw provides a nice crunch. However, they need to pile on more meat because the pickled flavor of the vegetables ends up overpowering the sandwich(although the veggies do complement the sweetness of the duck well). I’d recommend the sandwich, but I don’t think it’s really worth $ 8.50. However, the café does have free soda and coffee, which is nice!

It is expensive here. But I think most people use their players points to purchase their food. Anyways, I didn’t have dinner before I came to the casino so I bought a lemongrass chicken bahn mi that had the pickled carrots, lettuce and jalapeño. There was no pickled daikon and cilantro. Boo. And I never had a bahn mi with lettuce. But the chicken was flavorful. You can have it cold or warmed if you wish. It was a pricey bahn mi, $ 8.95. I also had a Vitamin water that was a smaller bottle than you would find at your grocers, 8 oz? Total for both items was $ 13. There is nowhere to sit in there so you have to wander outside and sit at the bar that is across the way. No problem though, I can watch the game they have on tv.

Fantastic sandwiches on their new pretzel baguettes are mouth watering. Too bad there are only chips for sides. Haven’t tried the pizza. There are some boxes salads and fruit cups but the sandwiches are the reason to grab a minute here. An improvement over the sushi place that used to be here.

OMG, this pizza was terrible. We got the margherita and it was like a cracker with some overly spicy tomato sauce and gluey cheese on top, with a few leaves of basil. Add to that the fact that there is no actual seating in the deli… you have to find somewhere to eat your food… usually the bar, it appears. Oh, how I miss the way the days before this«deli» opened, when they used to serve large, reasonably good slices of regular cheese pizza for $ 3 around 11pm, outside the bar area. Now the only decent food at the casino is the buffet, and you just don’t always want the buffet. I’m hoping they will rethink this pizza deli concept.

Sno Deli is located where the Sushi bar used to be. It was my first time ordering from it last night. I had BBQ Duck Bun Mi. It’s actually pretty good!!! The price is $ 8.50, it’s higher than usual.($ 3.00 for a BBQ Pork in International District). But I believe most of the people would use the Crescent Club points to dine at the casino anyway. I will try other bun mi and their pizza next time.
