I’ve only been here twice but have had great experiences both times. First time they got me in when my baby scratched my eye to make sure everything was ok. Dr. Duvall was very knowledgeable so I decided to make an appointment for my annual eye exam. Today I had my eye exam and everyone was very nice and extremely professional. Beautiful selection of glasses and I found prices to be extremely reasonable.

So it’s painful for me to give this review, as my doctor(Nessa Livingson) and technician(Ginny) at the Snoq Ridge location were fan-tastic!!! My main gripe has been with admin/reception. My first 2 experiences were meh, but hey, it was 8:15AM both times, so not all of us are awake. My most recent experience when ordering my prescription(s) was horrendous. The person at the counter was not«with it» at all, confused myself and herself several times, and I left not really knowing exactly what to expect with lenses. Worse, is my questions, even after asking the same ones several times, where not getting answered. It was one of those situations where I basically just wanted to get out of there as the confusion felt worse than sticking needles in my eyes. Since then, I picked up my lenses in North Bend(convenient since that’s where I live), and things look OK(no pun intended). But now, I received yet another auto-email that my «lenses are in for pick up». Huh??? Was I/insurance charged for this second set? Do I need to follow up on this mistake? I want to stay local as much as I can, and really hope these folks get their act together in admin/reception. Dr Livingston and Ginny are awesome though!!!

My daughter saw Dr. McKinney. The medical staff, including front desk staff, was first class. We never felt rushed and each procedure was explained to my daughter and me. Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with the optician. She was rude and impatient when we went to find glasses for my daughter and when we went to pick them up. She gave the impression that she was put off by doing an adjustment to my daughter’s glasses. Prior to that, she was not helpful when we were trying to select new glasses for our young daughter. If you have ever bought glasses at Eyes on Fremont, you know about helpful service. If you are buying glasses, I suggest you buy them somewhere else.

Going to keep this short and sweet so this place at least has one review. I saw Dr. McKinney for an eye exam. First, one of the assistants performed the basic tests and spent a lot of time with me. Then, Dr. McKinney came in. I expected a short visit since her assistant had already performed a thorough exam, but she was very thorough herself. She also re-did some of the exams for my prescription to be extra certain they got it right. I was very impressed. Ended up getting new glasses, which I desperately needed, and they came out great! The service all around was excellent and the prices for my new glasses seemed quite fair. The only potential downside is the frames selection isn’t the largest I’ve ever seen, but it’s certainly adequate for most people. They seem to book up far in advance, so make sure you call ahead. I highly recommend this place.

Pricing is egregious. They charge $ 200 for an eye exam which is double other independent practicioners and triple Costco and eyecare chain stores. A $ 42 charge for«contact lens fitting» was also assessed — ridiculous. Hardware is also priced as such. We bought frames/lenses for $ 100 at Costco whereas we were quoted $ 279 here for an identical looks pair of glasses. I am all for supporting small/local businesses but not if they’re price gouging.
