Polly’s has a wide variety of seasonal produce. The ladies who work there are sweet and like to chat, so you feel like you’re visiting your favorite aunt. It is a very unique place, from being built around a tree(that is still there and let’s the rain inside) to having at least one four-legged employee who loves to lay around by the heater and sleep, an adorable cat. If you only stop in to look around, it’s worth your time. The other reviewers mentioned a deli and BBQ place next door — both have closed and nothing is there at this time.

polly’s produce no longer has a deli but Wiley’s backyard bar b cue next door rocks! we tried the ribs chicken and brisket. none of the meats were dry and the ribs needed no sauce. the rib rub is excellent… just enough of all the finely ground spices… i tasted molasses undertone…’. cooked to a slight crisp. not chewy… the sauce was perfect for dipping… not too thick and sugary as some are. the produce stand is cute and has a big tree growing right through the middle of the store! we came seeking a 5 star deli as indicated by Unilocal.we found the best bar b cue for a 200 mile radius. thanks Unilocal!now if you could just let me filter out those pesky chain restaurants…

i have had my share of good produce, but polly’s takes the cake for sure. my favorite are the tomatoes, but it doesn’t stop there, b/c they have a deli with amazing home-cooked foods, too(her biscuits are to-die-for). plus polly’s has a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you are just hanging with family & good folks… love it.
