Wonderful instructors; I found them to strike the perfect balance between offering kind encouragement and challenging me as a novice dancer.

Started here because of a groupon and have ended up thinking we will c9ntinue to come back as it is a fun thing to do together. Plus we do see improvement! We have been working with Zach who really knows what he is doing and is great! Then we have worked with McKayla and Jude as well who have been great too! Can’t complain. The investment is pricey but you get to go to group dances included if you have the bronze level membership. They also allow you to determine how many private lessons a month to help with budget. Again it is pricey even for two lessons a month plus group dances and parties (~$ 335) but depends how much you put into it and have to remember it’s a life craft to use. But wonderful teachers!

We absolutely loved our instructor, Jill! She took me and my boyfriend «out» on the best movie and popcorn date ever. We learned so much from her. We couldn’t find it in our budget to stick to the program, but we would if we could. Even after we told her we couldn’t sign up, she mailed us a hand-​written thank you card. We wanted to sign up even more after receiving that! We practice our routines in my living room some days. She gave great feedback, and was funny, attentive and nice! I am proud to endorse her!

We had a great time learning dance here. I bought a Unilocal deal while on vacation and we were given top notch instruction. All of their staff is really friendly. A special shout out to Emillio!

My boyfriend and I have been dancing at Arthur Murray in Solana Beach for the past few months and have been impressed with every aspect of our experience thus far! Everyone that works there is friendly, fun, and encouraging. We’ve taken private and group classes taught by Jude, Jill, and Anthony… all of whom are superstars on the dance floor (and off)! I’ve had some dance experience, but my boyfriend has not, so they’ve helped us get to a point where we can dance together… from the foxtrot and swing to more rhythmic dances like cha-​cha and rhumba. The studio is conveniently located near the I-​5 off Lomas Santa Fe in the Vons shopping center. It’s not cheap, but we’ve budgeted for it since we love to dance and we use the time together as a date night. Also, they do offer a discount off your first 2 lessons and are periodically on Groupon. I would highly recommend Arthur Murray Solana Beach to anyone… it’s fun, can be a light workout at times, a chance to spend quality time with your significant other, and learn a lifelong skill! Arthur Murray in Solana Beach has a talented and gifted group of instructors who tirelessly work with the ungifted, me, (and possibly others) to find rhythm, build confidence, and create a fledgling dancer.
I am planning to continue taking lessons even if it means raiding my piggy bank.
I will no longer be able to say, «I can’t dance.»

We have been taking dance lessons here for about 2 months. We started out with Jill as our instructor and loved her! We came in wanting to learn swing and are now taking 6 different styles of dancing and have fallen in love with all of them, while falling more in love with each other. They even put on a performance for us to see which dance styles we were interested in. We currently have our own binder to track our progress. We are beginning to have lessons with other instructors, and the whole staff is amazing.

Jill and Jude, you ladies are so fabulous! I can’t wait to so time dance lessons with you and start getting some rhythm in my hips so I can start impressing my man! I recommend this place to anyone!

Signed up for a groupon for dance lessons and was really surprised at how pleasant the whole experience was. My boyfriend and I are complete goofballs and pretty inept at dance/​rhythm/​etc. Jill was patient, funny, and a great instructor. I would definitely recommend her for first-​timers.

So excited to be taking lessons here!
My boyfriend and I decided to try the Groupon offered and eagerly scheduled an apt right away. We weren’t sure what to expect but figured that they might try to pressure us into buying more lessons than we originally signed up for. We found ourselves to be pleasantly surprised. We cannot say enough good things about our lesson with Robert. He was full of great humor and kept us laughing while still keeping us on track with our lesson. This was especially helpful because neither of us had much experience with dance. The best part is, they did not at all try to sell us more lessons. We are very much looking forward to next time.
