Seriously disappointed. From when it opened, this jersey Mikes has been the spot. I live in Del Mar, and was super excited when they opened a JM franchise near me. Unfortunately, the quality of the food at the Del Mar location was not the same as Solana Beach, so I have always driven the four miles from my house 2 Lomas Santa Fe to go to this location. Because it used to be worth it. Today, I stopped in on my way home to pick up a couple of giant sandwiches for the family. The brothers, who own this location, were not present, and maybe that was part of the problem. But everything about the experience was negative. The guy making the sandwiches didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing, and both sandwiches were made incorrectly. The quality has gone on par with the Del Mar location(which is awful). When I spend $ 30 on two sandwiches, I expect the best. This will be my last time eating at Jersey Mikes. Which is a shame, because it used to be my favorite spot for sandwiches. To the owners– you guys really had something when you first open this location, the Pride you took in it was evident and it showed in spectacular food. I don’t know what has happened, but I hope you can fix it, because it’s broken.

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich. When the manager guy put the cheese on the bread there were large pieces of meat stuck to the cheese from using the uncleaned slicer. I pointed out to the guy the large pieces of turkey on my sandwich and he got mad at me for his uncleanliness, yet he did nothing to remove it until I pressed the issue. After this he passed it on to the next guy to put the rest of it together. I told this guy(twice) to just put a little oil on it. He was so busy yammering with the manager guy that he soaked it down so much that it had seeped through the bag before I could make it to the car. I hate these guys.

O’side store is better in overall cleanliness, attitude and service. Next time in the Solana Beach shop, check out the dirt on the meat cutters pants. I swear he has been wearing the same pair of Khaki pants for two weeks… not nice to not change your work pants, .i think he changes once a week… food is just a litte pricy, but I do like the food. OK we stopped in again and caught a late lunch… servers looked like the wore the same pants to garden… yuk…my lady friend and I walked out with a big question if we want that kind of lack of cleanliness. Had to wait 5 full minutes on hold to order our take out as we headed to the Beach, try the Encinitas store next time.

I’m pretty bummed. I came in a couple weeks ago and bought a sandwich for me and my toddler to take home and share. 10 minutes later we got home and the sandwich was completely ruined and soggy that we couldn’t even eat it. It was so disappointing because I even paid 14 $ for it because I got extra turkey and two extra slices of cheese. So basically my 14 $ sandwich turned out to be a complete disappointment. I eat at Jersey Mikes every week and this has never happened. I called about it because I paid so much for my sandwich and couldn’t even eat it. The manager that was in charge told me he wouldn’t offer me anything but to come back for a new one which is great but the point is I said I dine at the Carlsbad location and would like to get a sandwich there but he said that wasn’t gonna be an option and pretty much argued with me. I continued to ask why and he didn’t help much so he gave me the phone number to his manager(boss). This guy was totally cool and cared so much about my whole situation. He offered to send a nice gift card out to my address. Well, its been close to 2 weeks and no gift card ever came. It’s pretty sad because I really thought I wouldn’t have to write this review.

Fantastic subs made on fresh bread and with meat sliced only after you order. Best place I’ve found for East Coast style subs in Cali. Highly recommended.

The subs here are great. When I come here, I usually get the super sub. I always think I’m getting something else but nope. Don’t forget to get pepper relish and pepperoncini and of course get it mike’s way. That is of course, unless you’re ordering a hot sandwich, then ignore that advice. Buffalo chicken wrap is also very good. Don’t forget to look for coupons in the mail, that’s when I usually go. Oh and the pork roll sandwiches are good and they sometimes have coupons for those right in the store.

Idk Why I keep coming back here expecting good service. It never happens. Some guy with a prison neck tattoo made my sandwich wrong and didn’t acknowledge my saying thank you. What a dick! My past review still stands… Mediocre and overpriced sandwiches with terrible service… I’m regretting the tip I left for them now. :/

I’m really torn here because I keep coming back for a great sandwich! Since my regular deli closed I have needed to get my pastrami fix, and Jersey Mikes always delivers on the meat, kraut, and cheese I need. I’ve stopped by once a week for about 6 weeks and recognize the regular workers. That said, the service in here is below average. I often show up with my male friends who are promptly greeted and their orders taken. I am left standing in front of the counter for a couple minutes, trying to make eye contact, waiting for someone to ask me if I want to order something. It’s awkward! Sometimes I get a surprised look or comment when I order a giant #20! Come on guys, girls gotta eat too & my buddies ain’t buying me lunch. The all-male staff can work on making every customer feel important and I will grant more stars to this fine establishment.

Jersey Mikes? The best. All about that bread, ’bout that bread, ’bout that bread. It’s so good, and everyone is so nice and happy.

Decent sandwiches, but nothing special. The quality and size don’t quite justify the above-average prices(for a fast-food restaurant). Compared to a place like Subway, the subs are certainly tastier, but also smaller and more expensive(and there are fewer toppings to choose from).

Let me preface by saying my review has nothing to do with the actual food but with the Owner/Manager. I’ve been to this location a total of 3 times b/c it’s relatively close to my workplace and, for the most part, the sandwiches are delicious. However, every single time(3) that I’ve been here the Owner/Manager is constantly berating his employees. The first time I thought it was strange, the second concerned, but now I need to share this with others. As a customer it’s extremely unprofessional and despicably offensive! As someone who works in Human Resources I’d classify the work environment as hostile, although I’ve never heard anything specifically discriminatory. For a grown man to parade around yelling at young adults, who are probably only there for a part-time job making minimum wage, in front of customers is wrong. There is a time and a place for criticism, which should always be even-toned and constructive. It’s not in front of customers. I feel bad for the employees who’ve always been an absolute delight. I’m sure inside they have other feelings. People deserve to be treated differently, with respect and encouragement. That’s not what I’ve seen here. There are too many other Jersey Mike’s that this one has lost my business. I’ll drive a little further the next time I have a hankering for a good sub.

This is a great jersey mikes location. It’s aways packed, especially around lunchtime but this place is always staffed accordingly and their employees always have smiles on their faces. Jersey mikes is becoming somewhat of an addiction for me, not sure if it’s a good thing or not… Lol. I absolutely love the Club sandwich and the California Club. They are fantastic, especially with the oily vinegar madness they put on these things. This has got to be the best sandwich chain around. Also, the giant is HUGE and perfect for two people to share.

Jersey Mike’s is a great, fresh, easy, and cheap lunch! This location is fast and provides super friendly service. We’ve been coming to jersey mikes since they first opened, when the brothers who opened it where there all the time– super dedicated to every element of their business. I’m happy to say the consistency and great customers service has remained! We usually get the #7 or #9. They cut the turkey and cheese right there, from the slicer to the bread! We love their sandwiches mikes way, which just means all the best of fixings for our sandwich– lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and spices! The oil and vinegar gives the sandwich a unique super fresh taste.

All these years I’ve been(sort of deliberately) not going to Jersey Mike’s — I’ve been missing out! Good thing my husband decided to check it out and enlighten us. We went at 11:30am on a weekday and there was no lunch hour line yet. Service is friendly and speedy and we definitely didn’t feel rushed. I opted for a hot sub, the PASTRAMIREUBEN — Classic Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing nice and freshly made, was still hot(and not soggy) when we got home with it! The pastrami was delicious and the cheese melted with just the right amount of just the right sourness sauerkraut. The bun was just okay and maybe a little too much breading, but I guess it’s a sub. My husband loves the ITALIAN, and after getting a hot sub(the Philly cheesesteak), he says the cold subs are loaded with more ingredients. Approximately $ 8 for a regular or $ 13 for giant subs. I had the regular which filled me up, but I got hungry fast a few hours later… Best of all, they have black and white cookies made in NJ! The big cake-like ones. That’s one of the top 5 things I miss about living in NYC. Unfortunately didn’t see them until after we’d paid and were on the way out, so next time! Parking is easy in the private lot.

Ok, so I really like Jersey Mike’s and the staff that is behind the counter at the Solana Beach restaurant are awesome. With that said and after contacting Jersey Mike’s about the Manager that sets his little office up on the last table when the place is packed is ridiculous. I was in the restaurant today and once again no tables to sit at the Manager is set up on the last table! Once again, we are forced to sit outside! This is not the first time since my original complaint that the dining area is also used as an office. You would think that they would want all tables available for the customer? Again, I like Jersey mike’s in general but probably won’t be back to THIS location.

Location is off of the 5 Freeway and Lomas Santa Fe. Fairly standard fair for a Jersey Mikes, other than the notably enthusiastic and positive employees. Yes, they engage you in conversation and make you feel good about your order… «…oh Good choice…», «Oh, that’s how I like it too…», «…oh that’s one of my favorites…»… As a salesperson, I can appreciate the enthusiasm and encouragement on my purchase. If you’re not«too hungry», get the«mini» size with a drink and chips… If you’re hungry, then get the«regular» size which is definitely filling.

Is it your first time at Jersey Mike’s? Don’t fret have your sub Mike’s Way and you will be well taken care. Don’t argue. Don’t question it. Just go for it. Brusque but friendly service. They thank you for coming in before you even tell em what you want to order. Mike has your best interest at heart. Your taste buds will be happy and your health will appreciate a tasty sandwich made with super fresh ingredients.
