Hard to give a store a good review when no one shows up for work! I went to the Del Mar Highlands location at 10:30 this morning to do some Mother’s Day shopping and it was closed, even though the sign on the door said «Open at 10:00am). I waited for 15 minutes thinking someone would show up. Finally left, then called back 3 hours later and no one picked up the phone. Appears someone partied a bit too hard on Cinco de Mayo!

I finally found soap that is not drying! Wow the scent! The lavender soap turns my bathroom into Provence and every time I use it, it releases more heaven. I’ll be going back often to buy a bar of soap of the week till I collect all varieties.
Service was excellent too; the sales lady was patient to answer questions and was very helpful. I was looking for a body lotion, she recommended L’Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream which is an amazing product.
I just love this store!

I have been a huge fan of Mistral soaps and products for years. I love the little store on Cedros which they have owned for 20 years. They now have a brand new store in the Del Mar Town Center off of El Camino Real which is beautiful. I got my husband several Mistral men’s soaps, Mistral shave cream and the Mistral Black Amber er Eau De Parfum. He loves these products and I love smelling them on him. One of the better lotions and potions shops in North county for sure.

I have so many bath & body products at home, patiently waiting to be opened… but there’s something about Mistral that keeps me coming back for more. I have their shea butter hand cream at my desk at work, and I begin my workday by moisturizing my hands… my morning isn’t complete without the subtly sweet scent of the Vanilla Apricot shea butter.
The staff is genuinely friendly and the store itself is cute… even though it’s tiny, I spent a good amount of time there deciding what scents and products to buy. The store carries other brand items too, so it’s not just Mistral branded stuff. Check it out… but leave some Vanilla Apricot shea butter for me.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE MISTRAL LINE OF PRODUCTS!!!
You can also find numerous French perfumes and top quality fragrances that are hard to find!
The staff is very nice and will educate you on any of the products. My favorite product is the shea butter (in any scent!!!). That stuff is amazing and I can’t live without it.
It is such a cute and quaint little spot on Cedros. I love this block, it’s filled with little shops and there are some good food spots too. Just a couple steps away from the ocean too!
The parking lot is right in the front of the store so it’s very convenient to just run in!

Well I’m a fan of French perfume and a discerning scent nut in general so I love places like this where I can sniff to my heart’s content and find some top quality fragrances not found in department stores (except maybe a Barney’s type).
In addition to a great variety of quality perfumes, lotions, and candles, they carry some wonderful teas and small gift items.
They also have some amazing sales sometimes too.

and check out the soap of the week. We love it. It has become a weekly event and excitement for us to see what the soap for the week is. They have a shop in Solana Beach and the warehouse is in San Diego. The people are great too. They even allowed us to do a pick up for our soap. So great.
