I feel like someone’s going to take away my Solana Beach local’s card for not loving this place, but I just can’t do it. The food is fine. It’s actually good for diner food. And my kids love this place to no end, but it’s because they are not paying(& they also would also just as easily go to Denny’s). For the portion and taste, T’s is way overpriced. With Beach Grass Café and Clare’s on Cedros in walking distance, I don’t understand why this short-order cook style breakfast is the same price as well crafted breakfasts there? It can’t be for atmosphere. Though people fiercely love this place for some reason. so maybe I’m just not ordering right.

Took 40 minutes for our food to come out, then it was on the cold side. The potatoes that she specifically told me about came out wrong. The waitress wasn’t that cool about it. A better Attitude from our waitress would have prevented a Unilocal review at all.

Great breakfast and lunch options. All fresh made and delicious. I have many favorites. And the best Bloody Mary around. The service has been good for me but the newest bar tender seems a bit laxadasical. When Pam is working I always have the best service. The staff is all very nice. T’s is a mainstay.

This place is so unorganized, to start off my bad experience here is when I was trying to put my name down for a table. I waited 20 minutes for not one hostess to stop and acknowledge me. I think she finally realized we were waiting when a huge line out the door formed. The lady was rude and not pleasant so I left. Poorly run.

Big menu with unique breakfasts and full bar for adult time. Even kid friendly menu with a cup of crayons, made it a lot easier with our toddler grandson.

Food was excellent and service was good. Was hesitant about trying this place after reading so many mixed reviews. However, I will for sure come back!

Now that the Santa Fe Café is out of business, this is by far my favorite breakfast place in North County. Definitely a spot for locals, you’d be hard pressed to find many tourists here. The wait staff is very friendly, the food is good and plentiful and there are plenty of menu options. I also love the local, old-timey feel on the inside. Not to mention a really cool fire pit right in the middle of the restaurant. Not sure I’ve ever seen it in use, though. I recommend a window booth. You sit down from the sidewalk level a bit. Fun to watch the beach crowd walk by on a pretty day. Enjoy!

Best chicken fried steak breakfast in the area. Great bloody Mary’s and good service. All in all a great breakfast spot. Lot’s of locals and families here. Get here early, otherwise yo will be waiting a while.

Was waking around Solana Beach with a friend and decided to stop in here. We were seated immediately, had friendly service, good food, and loved the the quaintness of the spot. They had pictures and and some history about people and the place hung in the walls. nice to see. Definitely will go back sometime.

Way too f$@@%&ing loud for a Sunday brunch. Came at 11:30 a.m. Waited about ½ hr for table. Service was very sparse. Bloody Marys okay, not great for the price. Super loud, shitty tinny sounding speakers blasting 80s/90s pop music. Food took about a half hour to come. Reuben had mediocre corned beef, barely any sauerkraut and not enough dressing. Biscuit w/gravy, stale biscuit, gravy not bad but lacking any hint of sausage. Fresh salad was just o.k. service was generally nonexistent. Portion sizes adequate.

Worst customer secure ever!!! Stood for over 5 minutes waiting for a table or to even be acknowledged by any of restaurant staff, completely ignored so we left. Never coming back here again.

Great little hidden gem! What a cute down-to-earth place. Sat at the bar /counter and ordered one of the potato skillets. Service was great and the food was great too. I felt so comfortable there even though I went by myself. Ended up chatting with the people around me and had a really nice Saturday brunch!

I wanted to like T’s. I really did. My wife had visited them a few times and really enjoyed it. I have been there twice and each time the food was good — but pricey. I wouldn’t mind it being a little pricey if the service was good. It wasn’t. Both times we were there for breakfast — both times getting refills on coffee was like pulling teeth. Our server(same person both times) took our order(a smile would be nice) and then disappeared. The person who brought our meal was nice and but then she was gone. Server never checked back — coffee went empty. Probably won’t go back.

I ate here twice and each time the food was yummy, although inconsistent(I ordered egg scramble and it was different each time). The service from the staff was slow and left something to be desired. Outdoor seating was lovely but felt forgotten :(

Great breakfast spot, great Bloody Mary’s and a great atmosphere. I got the Acacia Scramble with egg whites, squash, feta, and bacon. They give you lots of food that’ll make your mouth water and your belly full! Service is quick and the staff is sweet. I would definitely recommend this spot to friends or anyone passing on through!

Still my favorite North County breakfast place. Also my top bloody mary maker North of Waterfront Bar and Grill. Quite hearty bloody recipe that keeps me coming back. Being the creature of habit that I am I rarely if ever order anything but Chicken fried steak and eggs. This being my favorite breakfast consider me somewhat of an expert and take my advice, T ’ s has got it going on. I have upgraded from 4 stars to 5 due to that happy feeling I get just by knowing my food will be as consistent as the many times before. I love T ’ s Café.

Fathers day brunch. Always the best. We got seated fairly quickly especially since its was packed. A great patio table in the beautiful sun. I had my usual eggs scramble which was ok. The eggs were overcooked that day which is unusual. My son had the corn flake crunchy French toast. A great portion, nicely cooked. The side of fruit came with the upgraded fruit I like to say. Berries, pineapple, not your usual grapes n melon. The chix fried steak Benedict was massive covered with gravy on top of biscuits. They were rich and my ex loved every single bite. Love this place. Friendly service, great baked good and a variety of menu items. They’ll pretty much make anything for you. And did I mention the famous bloody Mary’s and huge mimosas?
