Another in the series I like to call«Guest Unilocal from the Wifey»!! The hubby and I love love love shopping in the Danish-American village of Solvang, and recently we discovered this darling shop, located in the space once occupied by a store called«That Special Look», a place I dearly miss! However, with the arrival of Something Different, it makes up or the loss of That Special Look and then some. The shop fools you; looking into it from the outside you’d think it’s just a small one-room shop. But upon entering you find that it’s a shop with numerous rooms that winds a bit — even offering a room dedicated to children’s accessories and clothes. You’ll find all kinds of things here. Hats, jewelry, accessories, scarves, purses as well as clothing items — all very lovely and fashionable. What’s even better is that their items are all reasonably priced! They even have Battenburg sun parasols, which are not only hard to find — but priced great! I’m getting at least one next time I visit. I myself found a GORGEOUS lavender hat with beige lace around the edges that I snapped up! The two ladies who were there when I stopped by were helpful and very sweet. They were very knowledgeable about Solvang and all the other shops in the village; not just their own. They were both very welcoming spirits. Four SOLID!!! stars for this shop, with the fifth one coming most probably the next time I visit and can really dive in and explore their goodies!
